For everyone watching start from 8:17 and reset the hands and date to calibrate it. Then start from the beginning and it will be really easy after that because all the hands will be where they need to be and not be out of sync in case it keeps getting stuck on Tuesday or not even showing the day and just moves the opposite direction

I love my Citizen Eco Drive, wear it everyday and wear my Rado only once in a while, this watch cost lot less but it is lot more useful.

took about 3 days to charge called the citizen 800 number to get it set watched a tutorial on TH-cam and I must say I'm very pleased great looking watch
This watch does so much. The only thing it doesn't do is make me a pot of coffee in the morning but I'm sure I just haven't figured out how to set that feature yet.
Or WORK! This watch gives a bad name to Citizen. Mine has now stopped for at least 4 times. At its price, the word "perpetual" should be more than an illusion, or replaced with "POS". Either works for me.

I have an update for you. After following the instructions as to how to reset minutes falling off, I did what the instructions said to do. And lo and behold, has been right on for almost two months. I periodically check NIST and am shocked at the accuracy. I stand corrected. And I don't baby my watch either. The only thing I am concerned with is the water resistancy, there's no way I am going to get a non screw down crown very wet. Other than that. The watch is everything I hoped it would be.
My watch was 30 mins behind no matter what u do. I woukd set it and then later in in the day it would be 30 mins behind again. I did the reset first then went back and set the time, day, time zone, etc and its good now. I thought my watch was broken but its good now. My watch died once so thats probably what it did it. I left it in the window for about a week and i was good to go after the reset.

Very helpful video, however, after going through the whole video with my watch (AT4007-53E) in had I found that I was unable to get the day of the week set. I went back over the video and at the end it mentioned how to do an all reset of the watch and zero positing. After doing this and then resetting the watch as described in the beginning of the video, all is well. The video is almost 11 minutes long. It would have been better to put the all reset and zero positing of the watch at the very beginning.

I had to do exactly the same
Try charging the watch under a direct bulb light until is fully charged. Its will glow blue/green. Really superb

I bought this watch at a yard sale for $10, lady thought it needed a battery but I just had to charge it in sunlight for few hours. Took me a while to reset everything and get it to correct time zone. Thanks for the video and and thank you to Xavier3520 for a pointer.

I have bought the watch recently (2018). It is working based at New York time zone (it is looks like it's already adjusted). My question is: To use it correctly I'll have to do the 5 functions at first or I can only chosing the function that I am most interested like "set the time and date" and "Alternative time zone"
Still have it and running well,just the battery won’t charge 100%

Must the battery be fully charged? Mine has been in the safe for about three months. The only function that will work is setting the city (LAX) after that no other function will work. It's almost a new watch and rarely used.
The watch should be fine.. just place in a window in the sun all day for a few days and you'll be fully charged... then it will last up to six months in the safe. My guess is it wasn't fully charged when placed in safe.

Yes the battery does need to be charged. keep it in sunlight or spotlights for a while to charge the battery.

Hey Tyler. Here's what I ended up doing. Takes a little bit more time, but it's ok. I put the watch on the window sill facing east. The next day, all ok. completely synced. That's it.

What do you do if you set to LAX but the time and date that comes up is incorrect? I set it like the video said to do but it changed back to the wrong time and date again during the night.
Do the O reset and check day SMT if is on or off depending your area

Mine was aswell. But watching this video 👍 if you do the 0 positioning (last time stamp) it should sort it's life out. I watched a few videos but this is literally the best. Thank you.

This went horribly. What a complete waste of time.
Well, none of this works on mine. But of course it's been back to Citizen a few times for repairs (it's actually spent more time being repaired than worn) and now it stopped working again. In a very general sense, it's an overpriced POS.
