I’ve changed my android for the iPhone 15 and have no regrets. Here in Brazil, every iPhone still really expensive, even the normal version and old ones. But I need to say that camera, screen and the system are awesome.

The last iPhone I had was 4s and after that I had an Android mobile phone until I saw the iPhone 15, that's when I remembered the iPhone 4s and I went to buy it and I must say that this phone is amazing!
I can't explain it either, but for some unknown reason, this is the first time that I have been really satisfied with my iPhone (15 Pro). The only thing I didn't like was that I don't get the 5x telephoto lense. But I'm able to live without. It's a great phone and I'm totally smitten with it.

I thought about the iPhone 15, but opted for the 15 pro because of the camera mainly, yes it has less battery life, but it is still more than enough for me, plus I wanted to try the latest upgrades, however, the pro max is too big for what I need.

As an android user I think it boils down to support. I switch devices often and I've had Android devices of all types( pixels, nexus, Samsung, Redmi, xiaomi,vivo, Motorola, and etc..) and I've had a few iPhones iver the years as well. Ehat I've experienced is the lack of long term support for a device when it comes to the Android side, they can pack all the latest features they want, but if my phone is forgotten in 2 years it doesn't matter. I looking into giving the iPhone 15 plus a shot, my last iPhone was a 7 plus so I figured I'd try them again. Im currently on a Z Flip 3 with 120hz display, they way I see it, IOS is better optimized so it should be smooth enough.
I had been using the OnePlus One since 2014. Loved the phone. But it died last month, so I was looking for a replacement. I chose the iPhone 15 because it's the first base iPhone in years that is really, really good. I appreciate the relatively low entry price. I appreciate the great camera. I don't need a large display. I appreciate its compactness (I always carry my phone in my sometimes tight pants pocket).

I had 90 Hz in my oneplus, but I kept it at 60Hz to save battery and maybe 90hz gave me a headache (can be placebo); I have a 140Hz monitor on my desktop and 60Hz on my laptop and I can't really tell the difference, except for the fact that 60Hz looks better because it's an IPS display. I bought a iPhone 15 recently and couldn't be more satisfied with the display. The only thing I'd miss from the pro model is the RAW photo at 48MPixel, Applelog Slog capture and faster USB transfers, but yeah iPhone 15 -base is still great. One thing Apple does is use it thuggery to not communicate well with the Windows OS, I have to use a 3rd party software to transfer my photos to the PC. This shoudnt have been the case and I think Apple needs to be called out for this. There is no problem with my cable, my PC, the iphone since it all work well with the 3rd party software- which I now have to half-heartedly trust for my data.
I was an android fan because I love the widget customization options. I was so sad to lose that when I switched but thank goodness, now they are doing quite the improvement on widget! When I decided to switch to iPhone (iPhone 8) it was due to the lack of option when my phone broke (I super did not like the models for LG and Samsung in 2018). Then I continue to stay with iPhone because I was tired of the overheating in previous android. The heat got so bad that even if it didn’t cause burn sometimes my fingers feel tingly and numb later. I upgraded this year to the iPhone 15 (my 8’s battery went bad). I am not a fan of the size as it feels like my brother’s iPhone 8. I don’t see much difference aside from the amazing battery life, cameras , and my ability now to play some games without issue (while TH-cam plays in the background). I miss my iPhone 8 but I don’t regret upgrading.
Calling it a "free market" when fully aware (and even talking about it earlier in the video) of the ways Apple locks you into their ecosystem the moment you start using an iPhone isn't really fair in my opinion.

Hey man! Great content, loved the samples and informations on the camera. Although I think android cameras, regarding video quality (Stabilization, HDR, Color profiles etc) evolved a LOT. Maybe worth a look on s23 and 24 cameras on that point!
I honestly don’t mind using 60 hz display. Ive used 14 pro, pixel 8 pro, samsung 22 ultra and z flip 5. Going back to my wife’s iphone 12 pro max doesnt really bother me. I think its doable. Especially video wise.
Much prefer the Pixel 8 Pro cameras. Using mine in 50mp resolution at even 10x zoom makes fabulous photos. I'd say it even beats the S23 Ultra during the day at 10x zoom
Im an andriod user I'm moving to apple for sure. I see no point in the Android devices their user interface is just too inferior to apple. Androids dont last as long as iPhones, hopefully the 7 year support thing disproves that but I know they are gonna neglect the optimization of these apps. I've been an android user since I first got my android... decided to change to iPhone 15. I am sometimes infuriated by the lack of features I had on androids... but damn this phone looks, feels and operates nicely. Not saying that iOs is better than Android, actually the opposite in most cases, but the hardware is very nice so far.

The reason Apple is everywhere is its consistency and ease of use. iMessage and FaceTime etc. Android is more customisable but iPhone doesn’t need that gimmick
Im on my 4th Android, last two have been pixels, mainly due to them being very close to flagship product with a very flagship camera but every year I feel their processors struggling as they age, i never really felt this with my iphones, the prices are now getting really close despite the residuals for a iphone 14 being double what ill get trade in for my pixel 7... And these points never get mentioned enough for real world users.
I have owned both android and iPhones and currently I have a pixel 8 and the problems that I have run into on it I have never encountered once on my iPhones. Im looking to head back to iPhone as soon as my phone has a trade in value.
Apple pricing has been nonsense since forever in my opinion. I don't know how you guys do it in EU, but in the US, most people don't pay upfront for the phone. They buy the phone on a financing agreement where they spread the cost of it over a period of 24 months. Most people here don't have $1,000+ to spend on a phone so they finance it.

Nope, here in the EU you have to pay incentives if you want to get a good phone on partial financing, if you want a RAZR+ as I have then you'll have to take the most expensive deal for 24 months to get the device for free and pay it through monthly payouts along the phone bill.. But for an iPhone there is no such deal, you have to pay a substential ammount of money in advance and only maybe a half of the price can be payed through the monthly payouts.. Unbelievable..
Great video. Can’t say I disagree with anything you said. So much of what makes iPhones better for most people than Android phones is experienced when you’ve had the phone for a while, and use it to its full potential, and when you have a MacBook as your primary work device, or use any of the other ecosystem devices. 5 years ago, I would have told you that I would never switch from Android to Apple. But today, even though I badly want a foldable, I won’t switch back to Android.
When do you think will be a good time to get a foldable. They release them so quickly and still have so much to perfect. I really like the look of them but I don’t know when they’ll get it right. Being that your average consumer doesn't tune into your channel and more or less prosumers view your content so maybe most that watch this can share the same sentiments as you on improvements to the new 15 but to your actual average consumer I do think a lot of the changes are nuanced. Android figured things out a long time ago with RCS, but Apple is deliberately blocking it on iOS. Word on the streets is that the EU will force them to open up for RCS. KINDA LIKE USB C AND SIDELOADING, I think the EU is fed up with Apple's greedy and anticompetitive behavior.
You've been able to sideload on iOS for years. Apple shouldn't be forced to use USB C and nor should they be forced to support RCS. The reason they've not bothered with RCS is that Google's version isn't even standards compliant, bet you didn't know that. Why should Apple even be inclined to support a "standard" that Google haven't even done properly themselves. The point is moot anyway because Apple are supporting RCS but the actual standard
The EU aren’t forcing them to add RCS. They’re just adding RCS. The reason that they’ve not adopted it sooner is because of Google. Google’s RCS implementation is proprietary, they have their own E2EE on top of the base protocol. So Apple were either forced to adopt the standard and not have encryption or have all the texts of each of their users go through Google servers, neither option is great and they’ve now decided the best course of action is to implement the actual RCS Standard and then work with GSM to implement E2EE as a standard. Next time you’re saying about how bad Apple are, don’t be so quick to faun over Google because they’re just as bad if not worse

I went from the 13 pro to the regular 15 black. It is a thing of beauty. The camera is better, battery life better, screen and brightness beautiful.

If the 15 plus had 1tb of internal storage I wouldn’t bother buying a pro model.
I ported from 13PM 120hz to 15Plus 60hz with zero regrets. The super light form factor and gorgeous display and stellar battery is worth the upgrade.

Hey man! Great content, loved the samples and informations on the camera. Although I think android cameras, regarding video quality (Stabilization, HDR, Color profiles etc) evolved a LOT. Maybe worth a look on s23 and 24 cameras on that point!

I honestly don’t mind using 60 hz display. Ive used 14 pro, pixel 8 pro, samsung 22 ultra and z flip 5. Going back to my wife’s iphone 12 pro max doesnt really bother me. I think its doable. Especially video wise.

I use an Android but still think base iPhones are better. And the Apple ecosystem, you can't beat that. They got it down to a T.
Much prefer the Pixel 8 Pro cameras. Using mine in 50mp resolution at even 10x zoom makes fabulous photos. I'd say it even beats the S23 Ultra during the day at 10x zoom

Im an andriod user I'm moving to apple for sure. I see no point in the Android devices their user interface is just too inferior to apple. Androids dont last as long as iPhones, hopefully the 7 year support thing disproves that but I know they are gonna neglect the optimization of these apps. Maybe im young so this matters more to me but Social media are just soo much better on iphone

I've been an android user since I first got my android... decided to change to iPhone 15. I am sometimes infuriated by the lack of features I had on androids... but damn this phone looks, feels and operates nicely.
Not saying that iOs is better than Android, actually the opposite in most cases, but the hardware is very nice so far.
The phone is great and all, but it's still 60hz display for 800 dollars. Atleast hit 90hz.
Most people can't see the difference and videos are at max 60Hz so what's the point?

The reason Apple is everywhere is its consistency and ease of use. iMessage and FaceTime etc. Android is more customisable but iPhone doesn’t need that gimmick

I switched from Apple (after using for 10+ years) to Samsung.. I love it.
Huge bezels on the iphone 15 compared to a samsung though. Only the iphone 15 pro which is insanely expensive has nice thin bezels.
Im on my 4th Android, last two have been pixels, mainly due to them being very close to flagship product with a very flagship camera but every year I feel their processors struggling as they age, i never really felt this with my iphones, the prices are now getting really close despite the residuals for a iphone 14 being double what ill get trade in for my pixel 7... And these points never get mentioned enough for real world users.
I have owned both android and iPhones and currently I have a pixel 8 and the problems that I have run into on it I have never encountered once on my iPhones. Im looking to head back to iPhone as soon as my phone has a trade in value.

I don't know, maybe for you people in the US the iPhone is a good tool but here in the EU starting only from the price tag the iPhone is nonsense..
Apple pricing has been nonsense since forever in my opinion. I don't know how you guys do it in EU, but in the US, most people don't pay upfront for the phone. They buy the phone on a financing agreement where they spread the cost of it over a period of 24 months. Most people here don't have $1,000+ to spend on a phone so they finance it.

Nope, here in the EU you have to pay incentives if you want to get a good phone on partial financing, if you want a RAZR+ as I have then you'll have to take the most expensive deal for 24 months to get the device for free and pay it through monthly payouts along the phone bill..
But for an iPhone there is no such deal, you have to pay a substential ammount of money in advance and only maybe a half of the price can be payed through the monthly payouts.. Unbelievable..
Great video. Can’t say I disagree with anything you said. So much of what makes iPhones better for most people than Android phones is experienced when you’ve had the phone for a while, and use it to its full potential, and when you have a MacBook as your primary work device, or use any of the other ecosystem devices. 5 years ago, I would have told you that I would never switch from Android to Apple. But today, even though I badly want a foldable, I won’t switch back to Android.
When do you think will be a good time to get a foldable. They release them so quickly and still have so much to perfect. I really like the look of them but I don’t know when they’ll get it right. I wonder if Apple will ever go that route but it takes them 500 years to do something that Samsung has been doing, even though I agree the Apple quality just seems to last longer. I didn’t think I would ever want an iphone 10 years ago. I use to stan Samsung.
Being that your average consumer doesn't tune into your channel and more or less prosumers view your content so maybe most that watch this can share the same sentiments as you on improvements to the new 15 but to your actual average consumer I do think a lot of the changes are nuanced. I came from the 12 mini and just bought my first pro line phone from apple and I can certainly see the difference.

I don’t care what anybody says,there’s nothing appealing about these phones unless you have an iPhone 11 or something. Not to say they aren’t good phones but we’re seeing more of the same every damn year. Now I know it’s your job to drive an opinion whichever way will be most appealing to the audience year to year but damn. I go back and forth with android and iPhone and I’ve never cared either way what I was charging with 🤷♂️ and new cameras is nice but idk about anybody else,but my picture takings been fine since the Nexus 6 whatever year that was.

Android figured things out a long time ago with RCS, but Apple is deliberately blocking it on iOS. Word on the streets is that the EU will force them to open up for RCS. KINDA LIKE USB C AND SIDELOADING, I think the EU is fed up with Apple's greedy and anticompetitive behavior.
You've been able to sideload on iOS for years. Apple shouldn't be forced to use USB C and nor should they be forced to support RCS. The reason they've not bothered with RCS is that Google's version isn't even standards compliant, bet you didn't know that. Why should Apple even be inclined to support a "standard" that Google haven't even done properly themselves. The point is moot anyway because Apple are supporting RCS but the actual standard

The EU aren’t forcing them to add RCS. They’re just adding RCS. The reason that they’ve not adopted it sooner is because of Google. Google’s RCS implementation is proprietary, they have their own E2EE on top of the base protocol. So Apple were either forced to adopt the standard and not have encryption or have all the texts of each of their users go through Google servers, neither option is great and they’ve now decided the best course of action is to implement the actual RCS Standard and then work with GSM to implement E2EE as a standard.
Next time you’re saying about how bad Apple are, don’t be so quick to faun over Google because they’re just as bad if not worse
