- This weeks True Crime video we visit the graves and hear about the murder of three young siblings, Paul, Dawn & Samantha Ralph at the hands of David McGreavy. The real Friday 13th killer.
David Anthony McGreavy (born 1951), also known as The Monster of Worcester or The Real Friday the 13th Killer, is an English convicted triple murderer who killed and dismembered his friend's three children in 1973. He was in the news in 2013 when an anonymity order imposed in 2009 was lifted based on findings that there was a public interest in his application for parole and that there was no immediate danger to his life. He was held in a vulnerable prisoners' unit, where he spent most of his 40 years in prison until he was released on parole in December 2018

The worst part about this case is that David McGreavy is a free man now

@@SarahTre100 to be fair though the murders occurred in 1973 so they couldn't hang McGreavy as the death penalty was suspended in 1965 and the whole life order penalty or life sentence as the Americans call it didn't come into play until 10 years after the crime in 1983 so the judge gave David McGreavy the harshest sentence legally available in the trial
And moor murderers never got out yet he did totally disgusting

Those poor babies. How the family coped after this I’ll never know. I can never understand how a murderer of 3 innocent babies can be let free, that’s not justice. If ever there was a case for capital punishment this is it. Thanks Paul, another sensitive video. RIP little ones.
I was 10 days from my 7th birthday when this happened in April, 1973. This evil man abused the trust and hospitality of the Ralph family. I don't believe that he has changed. This monster has killed more than once! All three children.

I'm 42 and live in Worcester all my life, has i grow up i learned about this, mad what's happened on your own doorstep. I visit there headstone all the time when seeing mom. Great video keep it up

I'm a specialist community public health nurse. I work with so many families where domestic abuse is a huge issue. Obviously not to the extreme of your video, thankfully for most of my families; I have had a couple of cases that are horrific x

A very sad event. Paul has an amazing ability to tell the story of victims of crime informatively, but also very compassionately. We hear the information regarding the perpetrator of these horrific events too...but in a matter of fact way. The crime file vids are brilliant, a large part of them being so is Paul's genuine respect for the victims.

This was so sad.. I actually met David mcgreavy on a few times while he was in prison. He came over as a nice guy. Until I found out what he had done. This sent chills down my spine . He was as honest as he could be about what he done and at one point tried to put the blame on the mother. I knew he was lying and he didn't know that I had done my homework on him . He later told me the barest of truth and said the he had impailed them on the fence . My god .. I was horrified to think I actually allowed him to ring me from time to time but by then he was quite the gentleman.. I feel so sorry for the mother. He should have done 20 years for each child and I now know he's out of prison.
Hi Paul and thank you for your time and effort in bringing out to the front this truly shocking crime. I don’t think even now I could ever live in that house!, they should have pulled it down!. I just feel there was never a real answer (Although none can be accepted) why he carried out these shocking offences. It’s strange how years later, his rights are protected and this man walks amongst us free today?!
Dostoevsky argued that a society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens but by how it treats its criminals. I loved Dostoevsky but I think he was wrong. A society should be judged by how it treats the rights of its citizens, especially those who are vulnerable.

I remember this case I was 13 years old at the time, I'm now 64 years and I have never forgotten the case. You are the first to bring this up to my knowledge in all these years. Thank you Paul for remembering those beautiful children 💔 how that man is now free is beyond belief. RIP sweet little babies.

I live near London but have relatives in worcester and its where my dad's side of the family come from .know the city quite well but I had never heard of this before.will be watching later
It's a really sad case , I was 10 yrs old at the time and it was near where I live our parents wouldn't let us out to play till they caught him , luckily the got him almost immediately 😢
What a truly horrible and sad story, the only thing one can say in this guy's favour is that he pleaded guilty and did not insist on a charade of a trial. To be honest Paul, I had never heard of this case, and true crime does interest me too. Thank you for uploading it).

Very strong case to bring back the death penalty! Him and many others should not be allowed to live after what they have done. Poor innocents and poor parents too, they have a lifetime of knowing no release for them.

Unfortunately, the judges with the title "justice" seem in reality to have absolutely no idea of what justice really is.
Those dear innocents brutally slain and exposed on a fence and this killer now freed to live his life, what a damning insult to that family.
And when an MP is sadly murdered it is instantly a whole of life sentence and yet these three innocents are insulted by the British so called "justice" system!

I actually met this monster when visited someone in prison he impailed them 3 children on the fence post.. he said he was off his head on ecstasy... No matter what how can you actually do this... absolutely heartbreaking ❤❤❤

Well done with this one Paul, those were beautiful roses. I remember hearing a story about this, I think it’s when he was released the first time. I’m afraid I would not want to live in that house, nor would I want to stay if I was the neighbour. They should have been pulled down. Those poor babies had no lives at all. So, so sad. RIP 🩵🩷🩷

In Italy it’s the same tragic no justice. Example:
A famous case on 2000, A girl who killed with his boyfriend her mother and his little brother … when she was 17 years old and now it’s free at 30 years old , she found an husband and had 2 babies … it’s unbelievable
Another example, a young boy, that had 18 years old in the 80s who brutally killed his parents for the money.. and the same night that he killed they, he went to the disco with a couple of friends. And now at 40 years old it’s free and have done a book!!! About his history!
These are only 2 example of justice in Italy.
I think in Europe it’s very different from USA, another world.
Who can live inside this apartment today?! … 😣
