Have had one since before this vid was posted lol. I’ve even used mine to flash a dead generator back to life, worked like a charm for that
do you think temperature had anything to do with it? lithium can be finicky when they are cold.
Im not too sure, it was charged inside the warm house and was brought outside directly before i put it to the test. I dont think it was outside long enough for it to get cold, but who knows
Fully charge before use. Read the what’s written in the round bound again

you have to connect the cables to battery FIRST then plug into unit .....this ensures correct hookup to battery terminals

No it's not. Normal you should do that, but in the manual it says, connect the cables into the Gooloo GP4000 and then connect them to the battery....

I think it will be great for my boat if I drain the battery using the trolling motor and the fish finder I can jump the boat motor and make it back to the dock

I have the same unit as yours.
Unfortunately, it does not work for my 7.3 L, tried it multiple times and before seing your video.
Tried it based on your successful tries, still would not work for me.
GooLoo's support is slow and not very helpful, I ended up going to a local automotive supply amd picking up one of theirs, it worked first time.
Looks like all they want to do is send me a replacement, not sure I wish to trust them, asked for a refund and a shipping label, looks like
they may not wish to do that.
How cold was it when you tried? Also how many seconds can it crank the diesel before it auto shuts off?

@@redzz02 do you know how many seconds you can crank the diesel before it auto shuts off? I've been looking st thr Noco and they say it can crank for up to 60 seconds (situational) before it auto shuts off.

I purchase mine from EBay it works only three times the fourth it stops working the turn solid red when you connect to the unit 😮

Glow plugs were not open long enough on the truck it would’ve fired that
Due to the 30 second boost function cut off, in the cold, the boost function is not on long enough to allow the glow plugs to fully cycle

Well you would have to find out for your self 😅 cause i did not do that test
@@redzz02 thanks, it worked just fine, at least I think I used the boost button, I’m not sure if I was able to press the button or not. Ether way it started right up!😀
@@jameslund221 heck yeah thats awesome! Im glad it worked out good for you, you should be able to start the crv without the boost button, but it wouldnt hurt it if it was in boost mode
You need to know how the product works before you test it................ Diesels have glow plugs that need to warm up. I would hit the boost, not jump it, let the boost time out, hit the boost again, then go turn it over.
