A friend recently went off the beaten path with his 5 yr old son and when he went to pack up and go home...dead battery. Luckily he had satellite communication because his cell didn't work where he was. Six hours later help arrived. I ordered a jumper that day!! AND satellite communication along with a portable tire inflator. I camped off path a lot, alone in Montana. Thank goodness all was good but my eyes are WIDE OPEN
I have a smaller model gooloo and it has been EXCELLENT. 3 years and it has performed without fail. It holds its charge for months between uses and has jump started my car and the the lucky strangers I’ve encountered who needed help. Recommend 👍🏼
I love my Gooloo! Have always had trouble with batteries going dead on my small RV. Don't know why I didn't get this jumpstarter years ago. Now I just keep it charged and under my driver's seat. Oh, and I'm over 60 with arthiritis.
You should try to replace All batteries, ie charging and house, at same time And with same Manufacturing Date on each battery. This is to prevent weak or older battery from draining new battery. I recently had a dead battery in my in-process conversion van in a Costco big box warehouse parking lot. (I had done a Very stupid thing with my van while I was in the store for about 25 minutes). I was not carrying my usual-carry battery cables, as I needed room to work inside my van. I asked a customer heading to his pickup truck for help with a jump. He had recently purchased a Noco brand jump starter ($150 at auto parts store) and had not used it yet. Jump starter owner's instructions said you can make up to 5 attempts to start a dead battery. My van started on the 5th try. I will be purchasing a jump starter. Am returning the one I just bought from Costco and buying the one you got. Thank you for sharing this important video which could save a van dweller's or other driver's and passenger/s' lives, especially in very cold or hot weather.
Finally one of these things that actually work (well, I have not actually used one yet but I trust Bob's judgment). I am excited about the cigarette lighter capability, too!
Bob you are a national treasure. Thank you for doing these helpful reviews! They have changed my life. I always carry a jumper battery and when I came back from South America last month and my rig would not start up at the Orlando airport I jumped it and it started right up - no AAA no road-service no need to bother anyone. So if I were remote - even better. Happy Holidays Bob to you and your team !
I used link in description to go to your store and purchased one today (Sept 2024) and they have a limited time deal of 44% off and they had a $10 off coupon as well! My jump starter is VERY old so I was needing one, thanks for the reviews!
We have now had our a few months and have used them several times. I used it today to jump the biggest rig to date. It was an older rv driven by nomads. The rv was aptly called a land yacht and was easily 30 feet long. Jumped it without a hitch.
I bought the baby brother to that one for $75. It's only , 800a and served me well until I got a new battery I don't know if would have started that big engine you have there. Since then I've jumped three vehicles for strangers. It feels great every time.
going to pick one up for my 6.6 Duramax in my ambulance that has dying starter batteries. Glad you have the same engine and could confirm it does the trick. The one I have doesn't quite spin the starter fast enough to start it. Fingers crossed!
wow this is much better and more compact than the one I had years ago that barely had any juice in it to jumpstart my past car! I hope you stay safe and connected since you're kinda stranded, but I"m glad you're getting all your batteries fixed and updated!
Hi Bob, Your new ambulance looks great! Thank you for this review. I have a small jump starter and I upgraded to a campervan and have wondered ever since which one I really needed. This is very helpful!!
Very Blessed to have Bob. He is wealth of information. Just what i have been looking for. Going to order one. Thanks again Bob for a great video. Good Vibes 👣
Gooloo makes a great product. I just bought a Gooloo elite 1200A. I plan on checking the the charge status once every month. Some people go to use it and it’s not charged effectively
I have had my batteries checked frequently in my van..but one of these days they won't turn ove. This thing is powerful...and I ordered it because you need to be self sufficient out on the road.. Thank you for showing us these items..
I have this. It’s a game changer. Absolutely awesome...and once i did use it to charge my iPhone when Jackery was dead. Dangerous but was not a problem😂in two years I’ve literally charged it up twice. Holds full charge like a champ. D😎🇺🇸PDX
This is a great product and for me the biggest selling point besides the fact that it actually works, is that it is light and will not injure my back and neck and other joints just trying to lift it. Thank you for finding and demonstrating it for us!
Unfortunately when I clicked the link it's only $10 off (not $30), but it's still worth the price for the peace of mind of having one in the car if trouble should arise. Thanks Bob!
Have the same model and it jumps my ford 7.3 diesel easily... When I first got it it took over 16 hours to charge up. Monthly charge ups take no time though.
I absolutely love your rig! Thats my goal. Downsizing from my 19 foot Dodge minnie winnie (older model) to a diesel ambulance or sprinter van. I would also like to thank HOWA for the help they recently gave me. What a true blessing it was! My turn to pay it forward...Thank you , Bob for all your hard work. Happy holidays to all. Peace and positivity to all!!
Great video, Bob! Thanks for the review and recommendation. I think I'm going to get one. I have a much weaker one. The one you show is much better! Safest travels!
Definitely get one, these go on sale on Amazon a lot and they have coupons too I got the gt3000 which has the 100w charger and has an lcd screen This thing already jumped a completely dead car that had no current instantly
Super awesome video about this product. Will look into getting one soon because I'm always giving someone a jump to start their vehicle. I have solid copper 4 gauge cables that I made myself. Bought a set if 6 gauge cables and used the clamps for my own set. Never been unable to start any vehicle, including some big rig diesel's. I hope somehow to get a 12 ft box truck to convert it so I can travel to other states I haven't seen for a while! I HATE LIVING HERE IN THIS SCREWED UP STATE OF CALIF........
I have a smaller model of the GooLoo. Have used it several times to jump my van battery during my build as the battery has died because the interior lights drained it when doors were open all the time.
Bob, Love your nature curtains in the background:) This gadget looks like a must have for anyone who travels in out of the way places! Hope by now you have both your new ambulance and house batteries. Can it be charged from a normal 110 outlet in stix 'n bricks?
I’ve been wanting one these packs for a while now so I took advantage of this offer Bob thank you!! This is going to make a great addition to my rigs “tools to survive “ with. And your ambulance is awesome what is that body color??
i just bought one of these for my small diesel truck, and now I'm wishing I'd waited and got one through your link, maybe i'll grab another one as a late xmas present for someone. I'm in Australia, and been caught in middle of nowhere before with a dead battery, this thing has zero trouble starting, and its so compact with its own case that I can say I use it regularly as a powerbank more than i thought i would. Great review ol' mate!!
I have a small solar panel that can connect to my car cigarette lighter to charge my car battery. I could use it to charge this battery bank too. Cool!
I just bought a GooLoo. I'm hoping it'll be a better product than a TopVision jumper pack which turned out to be a disappointment. So far the GooLoo looks and performs well.
I have the GT 3000 it has a large screen that shows the charge rate in watts /battery percentage , USB a fast charger 3.0 18w max ,USB C PD 100w max so I believe with the right solar panel you could charge this like a laptop also comes with 100 w DC car charger. On sale right now Bob has a link in his description. Multiple reviewer’s have said battery capacity was lower than stated. They also said that was not a dealbreaker and gave it four stars instead of five.
Hi Bob! My son and I are currently living in our car, just arrived in Arizona last week and we’re staying at Snyder Hill…I believe I first learned about this place thru you…so thanks! Our battery died on us a couple days after we got here, so I’m checking on these jump starters.
I just pick up the GT4000 I bought it because sometime when I goes out to my 5th wheel in storage my batteries is a little weak so I'm not able to work my stabilizer jack but I haven't use it yet.
I just brought a jump starter for my mom for Christmas. I thought if there ever was an emergency where I couldn't immediately get to her this would be something she could handle on her own and not have to ask a stranger for assistance
I had an earlier version of this and it was so hit and miss whether it worked or not. That's unfortunated when you are relying on it to start your car in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully you won't have the same troubles. Finally having USB C is awesome. I know the NOCO versions have USB C as well.
I have the Gooloo GT1500 (advertised good for 8.0L gas). Needed it yesterday on my 5.4L Ford = failed to even make it "click" or work the auto locks. The jumpstarter was fully charged and I let it sit on the battery for about 20 min. Took it home and recharged it overnight then tried to jump my truck again today. Got a "click" but that was it. Finding out you've had a false sense of security feels actually worse than not being prepared in the first place.
on the iclever (Same a autogen) what does it mean when all LEds blink at the same time when u push the button or connect/disconect the charger? the unit does not produce any function in this error. thank you in advance
Be careful when connecting the cables to the battery. Don't put your face directly above it. I speak from experience. When I was 17 a battery blew up in my face when I was giving a guy a jump. I didn't know that the guy had connected the cables on his car to the wrong posts. Next thing you know, someone was driving me to the hospital.

I bought one after watching this. We had to use it this morning. Now I am buying another one, so we have one in each truck. It worked great.
I have a smaller model gooloo and it has been EXCELLENT. 3 years and it has performed without fail. It holds its charge for months between uses and has jump started my car and the the lucky strangers I’ve encountered who needed help. Recommend 👍🏼
Well, there's an even smaller model? I'm going to look into all the models they make. Thanks!
Hey Bob.. i have had that one for 4 yrs now.... I LOVE IT!! I have used it several times for various reasons. It comes with me everywhere ❤
Thank you for adding your recommendation. I am definitely getting one before I start my cross country trip back home in the spring.
My vehicle needs a jump literally right now. Great timing
BOB LIKE THE COLOR YOU PAINTED RIG GIVES ME GOOD IDEA !!!!!!!!!!
I love my Gooloo! Have always had trouble with batteries going dead on my small RV. Don't know why I didn't get this jumpstarter years ago. Now I just keep it charged and under my driver's seat. Oh, and I'm over 60 with arthiritis.

OFF THE FREAKING CHAIN!!! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A VEHICLE!! I'M BUYING ONE!!
You sold us. This really looks like it will solve a lot of problems for off grid charging.
I got one several months ago, I've not needed it yet, this video has reminded me to check it's charge state.
I like the fact it is Compact.
Sponsor this man GOOLOO!!

Have a DBPOWER that you showcased in recent past, used it, did a great job to jump start my truck couple of times
going to pick one up for my 6.6 Duramax in my ambulance that has dying starter batteries. Glad you have the same engine and could confirm it does the trick. The one I have doesn't quite spin the starter fast enough to start it. Fingers crossed!
I have the GP2000 and love it. My diesel is only a 2.2L but starts it easy with no boost. Cheers for sharing.
wow this is much better and more compact than the one I had years ago that barely had any juice in it to jumpstart my past car! I hope you stay safe and connected since you're kinda stranded, but I"m glad you're getting all your batteries fixed and updated!

Thanks, Bob! Sounds like time to check your alternator......................
I wanted to see if it would start without pressing the boost button. It's a great tool, nice I like it.
Lol… I love mine. I have the 4000. It works great for charging cell and my tablet. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very Blessed to have Bob. He is wealth of information. Just what i have been looking for. Going to order one. Thanks again Bob for a great video. Good Vibes 👣

Great video i bought one those about two months ago haven't had to use it yet but great for charging accessories.
Just ordered (my shuttle's been dead on the drive for weeks!) Thanks Bob!
One of the best products I've seen!!!!! Thanks so much
Unfortunately when I clicked the link it's only $10 off (not $30), but it's still worth the price for the peace of mind of having one in the car if trouble should arise. Thanks Bob!
I just got a DBPower, but I wish I waited now! I will save it on Amazon in case mine doesn’t work. Thank you so much!
6-21-23 it took me a year, but I finally ordered this exact model from Amazon this morning.
Negative, positive positive negative is the order for cable hook up. Learned from auto sections in the newspaper ☮️🌵

Thanks so much Bob!🦋
Leave it to Bob to get it right. Most reviews don’t show you the dead battery to start. Great video review 👍
QVC and HSN do! ;-)

I got the gt3000 which has the 100w charger and has an lcd screen

I just pick up the GT4000 I bought it because sometime when I goes out to my 5th wheel in storage my batteries is a little weak so I'm not able to work my stabilizer jack but I haven't use it yet.
Sounds like it would start a locomotive engine.

Howzit from Hawaii Thanks for the info!
I have a HALO battery charge that is awesome and flat tire inflated
The Best!!✌❤😎
Great review I think I’ll get one :)
I want to thank everyone in the comments who gave their own personal recommendations. I am 100% getting one.

Im wondering how long that would run a diesel heater...
It won't
any video on the new paint job
Great device ... it’s in my shopping cart !!!
I wonder if it would power a smart pot?
How long can you operate a eletric cooler ?
Can you charge the battery while inside just using the cigarette lighter outlet?
Thx
on the iclever (Same a autogen) what does it mean when all LEds blink at the same time when u push the button or connect/disconect the charger? the unit does not produce any function in this error. thank you in advance
Where can I find a retired Ambulance??
Auto auctions
@@marcushennings9513 okay I do some googling . just needed a Phrase to start . Haha Getting a brain drain these days .

Bob, is there a way to charge this with my solar panels that I bought with my Bluetti EB70 set up?
It should if the charger is hooked up to a solar controller.
I have one last question. Can this battery pack be recharged via a solar panel?
