Have had my '22 Rav4 Hybrid XSE for a year and a half. Love it!! But I miss my 2020 Tacoma. Trading my Rav next month on the '24 Underground Off Road Tacoma. Can't wait!
So happy to see you have a Rav4 now. I've got a 2023 XLE gas model and absolutely love it. I did trade in my 3rd gen 2020 Tacoma 4X4 Sport last summer because I just did not need that much vehicle anymore. I use Eco mode most of the time and get about 33.5 a gallon, but merging into highway traffic switching into Sport gives a noticeable boost. I agree with the auto stop/start function. You can adjust your speedo into digital! Glad you have this channel now and I'll subscribe to it too!
I look forward to see what mods you put on your new RAV4! Especially interesting in seeing what you can find about disabling the annoying auto stop/start, or at least changing the default to off!
I have a 2019 gas LE AWD. It’s pretty gutless off the line, but does pretty good when you need to pass at speed. Sport mode seems to help off the line a little bit.
The hybrid is quite possibly the perfect vehicle for 90% of the public. The hybrid is quick around town, AWD for winter, 40 mpg, high sitting position, very easy to steer and navigate parking lots. Mine crawled through 2 feet of snow last month no problem. However, it's not as fun to drive as a 4Runner.
2022 midnight black TRD off road Rav 4 AWD we've had now for a couple years, had a dealer lift with 245- 60- 18 Falken 4ply all season tires. Handles well in deep snow and ice.
I have a 2022 hybred XLE. Easily fits 5 people. Wonderful vehicle, ZERO PROBLEMS. Get it from Canada plant, not Kentucky! Both are good plants but i have a Canada one.
We purchased an xse hybrid 24 Rav4 with tech pkg and weather pkg. Fun to drive and getting from mid 40s to lower 50s mpg so far. Hope you enjoy yours .
Just purchased my first rav4, 2024 XLE premium. They do make a plug in wire to deactivate the auto start/stop, not sure if it is compatible with the 2024s....it should be since it's from the same generation.
We had a 2018 RAV and liked the way it drove and ran but the back seat was very hard with not much cushion and the seat back was stiff as a board. And I can’t see out of the black windows when I was driving it I couldn’t drive it at night. My eyes and the prescription on my glasses is like driving with a mask on.
Since you do mods.. you should have a leather wrapped steering wheel installed. Can't believe they leave that off The XLE.. You have to go up to an XLE Premium to get that.
Rob it looks nice I’m sure it’s a lot quieter inside is that a hybrid or all engine, i’m sure you’re gonna put different wheels on it and tires anyway it looks pretty sweet I bet it’s fun to drive good on gas as well👍!!
It is solid choice, my second best in class.... CX-5 is just more refined , solid feeling , quiet and nicer designed and build. Good luck with your RAV4 it should serve you long time
Aloha Rob. I can't wait to see you performing new mods for this SUV. I can't wait to see you install side steps with this latest vehicle.

My wife’s 2017 is really powerful and the 2010 we also have is also powerful. Lot more then what the Tacoma has.

Love my Hybrid. Pretty quick and gets 45 mpg.

You can change it to digital speed

Can you show us the room offering of the Rav 4? In particular the rear compartment. I need to haul a recumbent bike and wonder if it would fit.

Maybe after the RAV4 you can get the new 4Runner when the new Generation comes out
There is a lot of difference if you step on the gas from one to the other mode! Not what he is talking about the speed, you have both in the XLE

Why you did not get digital display 😢
Stay tuned.

I've drove a rented Rav4 all wheel drive. It was great. But a renter.
Iett me know when you figure out how to get the start stop deactivated. I have the same car Rob?
My friend bought a new RAV4 XLE Premium last weekend and there is a button at the bottom far right that says off and on that is the auto stop..
@@charlesjackson1700 no I'm talking about permeant. Like pulling a fuse
@@billbaker3384 ok..It can be done. A good tech can override it /disable it . I have seen videos on it..
Should’ve went with the XSE model….
Why?
@@robmotivetoowhy not!
So you traded the Prius?
Stay tuned.
Where do you get the money for all the vehicles??@@robmotivetoo
You keep asking that Richard. I understand you're curious about my personal finances, but they are indeed personal.
@@robmotivetoo everyone I know has just one vehicle and they struggle with upkeep and insurance.
@richardepstein3494 Not sure what that has to do with me?
