When I popped back recently I was warned, as a 64 year old bloke, about even going into the town centre during the day! I wish I hadn`t bothered, it was horrible to see the decline. It was filthy, unloved and full of non- Bournemouthians.
I live in the New Forest halfway between Bournemouth and Southampton. The furthest I would go now is to Christchurch. I often go to Lymington and New Milton but I have not been to Christchurch for at least a year. Best wishes
I am saddened that I have to agree with everything you have said. I'm from London and I do not recognise it from growing up and adulthood. I fear for my children and the future of this country. I really did not know how much our culture meant to me. Its erasure will be sorely missed. Greed and a form of malaise has tore heart out of nation
I'm a Scotsman living in Bristol, England. I've been in England since the eighties and the changes I've seen have been dramatic. It's a filthy, angry, dumbed down and increasingly violent place. Different cultures have brought different beliefs, values and interests. We are a fractured and divided society that is indeed on a "downward spiral" as you put it. It breaks my heart, it really does. These new peoples have no loyalty to this country or love for the people of this country. Many of them actively hate us. It's an invasion and a takeover and it has been facilitated by our own leaders. They have sold us out to the globalists. The same thing is happening in Ireland and all over Europe. They will come for Norway too my friend.
I would like to say as a woman, that women are getting the brunt of this, particularly on ❤ apps. I got bombarded with messages from the fresh arrivals and I couldn't take it anymore. I was receptive to Scots and anyone else from these isles but they weren't the people contacting me. I had to quit.
I'm British myself. Part English, Part Scottish. And I completely agree with what you are saying, It's not the country my grandfather and great grandfather fought for. But I refuse to abandon my country and my home. And I will fight for Britain and her true people when the time comes. I will fight for my family, generations both past and future. Britain will be British again, we will fix this. We have to, we have faced much worse and come out on the other side stronger than ever, and we will again. Long live Britain!
100% true , why should you brits leaving your homeland in first spot of danger, just calm down, watch around and see the millions of British are still living in here , which means there are lots of potential defenders of your country once they’ll awaken
The uk no longer feels like my life long home anymore it feels unsafe, I would move abroad if it was possible. Our appalling government is systematically carving the country up and stabbing its indigenous people in the back. Crime has soared and murders are common ever since they let in vast amounts of illegal economic migrants. Sadly I feel more depressed everyday. Thank you Bjorn.
I am English, I spend a lot of time in sweden, more so these days. You are ABSOLUTELY correct. I despise what has happened to my country, and yet I am called racist 😢😢
They destroyed Sweden too with thesame politics, can't recognize and see the warmth, safe ,polite ,happy kind society that I once grew up in . Violence used to be something rare , people used to be proud of our culture but younger generations just don't care anymore . They are unhinged from reality and far lefties without logical thinking and caring of culture and values , Scandinavium culture , like Björn said its trash mentality and woke brainwashed ... They voted for this the last 15-20 years and what we got was daily gangbombs/murders/explosions/ can't walk by yourself in the dark without being raped/ or beaten down as a guy ,mugged ,stabbed etc etc . This is not the beloved calm warm Sweden I grew up in and it breaks once heart, thinking how the future will be like ...the safety of my kids and their future kids etc ... Uk at least has one thing going for them despite I feal for thesame things that is going on there , but the citizens at least has the guts to fill the streets ,protest and let the government know that they are fed up ....here nothing ever happened , people just put their heads in the sand .
The last time the English were free was under Harold Godwinson, we've all been slaves since. This is the same in the settler colonies too, Canada, Aus and NZ are all in the same position, only the Americans managed to break free of their Norman chains, then within a handful of generations threw themselves at the feet of a new master.
I was going to marry an Englishman. Me, a skilled worker, anglophile, healthy foreigner had to face the vicious Home Office red-tape and my fiancé couldn't meet the minimum income requirement. It was just too much to even give him a basic human right to family life. Our relationship couldn't handle the massive pressure and we split. We wanted to do things by the book, legally and live in England, but couldn't. The UK govt destroyed our bond little by little. To see all those freeloaders parasitizing a country I still love, hurts and maddens me because I can't stop thinking what could we have built: a family founded on British values with the best of both words. Such a shame.
England is A dystopia in some areas. I am still young and hope to move out of England someday. No one talks to each other. People can’t even look each other in the eye.
We're mostly guys here in the comment section talking about how bad it is but there is little to no talk about all the sexual assaults are that happening because of all these new people that have arrived. Most girls dont talk about what has happened to them. I suspect there are hundreds of thousands of girls all over Europe suffering in silence at the hands of these new arrivals.
I wish we could talk more about this openly, statistics are clear on this. I've tried to explain to my fiancé why I will never walk outside alone when it's dark anymore and he simply can't understand at all why I don't feel safe. I never felt unsafe when I lived in a homogenous town, but that changed when I moved to an increasingly diverse city. But saying that makes me a bad person.
@@johnough4893 Im convinced it's happening all Europe, specifically the countries with lots of immigrants from you know where. If a girl is sexually assaulted 9/10 times she doesnt talk about it, if she does talk about the chance of the police doing something about it and getting a conviction are extremely low. I see girls aged 10-15 walking around unaccompanied in my city at the same time as I see groups of young men from the MENA region walking around also. After learning about what happend in the UK with the grooming gangs you would have to be stupid to think the same thing is not happening here. It could be even worse here. Scandinavian people are introverted and don't talk about these things. They could be getting away with worse shit here.
England used to be one of the most homogenous countries in the world, a high trust, safe, low crime, disaplined society, completely destroyed in just two generations.
As a young Englishman, I've slowly watched my country turn into an almost unrecognisable decadent Cess pit. This is what happens when younger generations are indoctrinated and fall victim to the self hating apologetic mindset they teach in schools Accompanied by the policies of tratoirous politicians who care more about party politics and virtue signalling on the global stage than having the well being of England and it's people at heart. It's a sorry state and sad to watch unfold. Don't even feel safe in my own town centre and have avoided it for years now, I fear it will only get worse. And it's not just the UK, it seems to a common trend all across western Europe, something needs to be done.
It's been going on for MUCH longer than that. What we are now witnessing, which is the unfolding of the end game, is the result of over 150 years of planning and the slow encroachment by evil and corruption into every institution in the nation. We are now in the final sprint phase.
Everything you say is 100% correct. Im 66 anx I cry for my country. I was born in Northrtn Ireland, but have been here 60 years. Thos country is rapidly becoming a Dystopian Society. A Nanny State. I would like to say more, but as a Brit I can say nothing. Hurty words put you in prison. I agree with every single word. 😢
The whole system is rotten, the governments, the police, the justice system, the media. Looks like Ireland is going the same way but at a much faster rate 🙁
You aren't alone Bjorn. As a 51yr old Englishman, I don't recognise my own country anymore. I consider myself an English gentleman - I strive to keep those old fashioned values alive. Sadly what I see now is selfishness, little respect for others and anxiety and depression is everywhere. The UK government is a joke (only 20% of the population voted the Labour Party into power). And apparently 1 in 5 people are "disabled" which I think is nonsense - they have zero self respect. If I could leave, I would.
Btw , are disabled or have a disability ? I have a spinal disability , am disabled and I think our assessment of physical disability is reasonable . The MH side however seems very open to abuse.
I also agree with you about the society today. It all seems to be about 'me, me, me' rather than helping people. I am also 51, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was 19. I now have mobility problems. My limit is walking to the local shops using a walking stick. I need to sit down and rest before I walk home. So I am registered disabled, have a blue badge, a disabled bus pass and a 3 year disabled person's railcard. I do not really like society much now sso tend to stay at home with the dog's. Occasionally I will get a bus to the big supermarket (Tesco) and go to Aldi on the other side of the road. Get what I need, finish up in Tesco and then get the bus home. The bus stops outside my house so that helps. Take care and best wishes
Everyone who has visited England in the past fell in love with it and came away with the impression that this place is even better then you could of imagined .But , over the past 10-20 years it totally changed and i would never visit it again which is so sad .It was wonderful ..
Hello from England. I’m nearly 43. I barely recognise my country any more. Neo liberalism has really done a job on us. I also believe psyops from our enemies have been very effective. In any case there is nothing worth fighting for here. Our culture has gone and decayed into something ugly.
Thank you for your concern about what is happening to our country, Bjorn. It is appreciated that you sympathise with our downfall. I believe that as bad as it is now, it will only get worse. We are a country without hope.
Totally agree with you. I observed the same thing in England... but also in Canada... nothing at all is like before, and we now feel like strangers in our own homeland. Very sad.
We can’t worry about what ppl call us. Our countries, our homeland are more important than what idiots think of us. Please don’t let this happen to Norway!
So sad... England is not alone... I am 81 and not an old curmudgeon (in my opinion) . I grew up in a suburban environment in Maine (USA) but was within a short bike ride or hike to woods and waterways/lakes. People had values that engendered civility and politeness. These values were centered around Judeo-Christian faith backgrounds, intact functional families, pride in their heritage, tolerance for others, and a positive type of pride concerning their appearance of themselves and property. When I grew to adult and ventured out into the larger world and lived several different places in the USA form New England to the Southwest I notices a gradual decline in all those values I mentioned above. The cause? I believe that their were many factors that caused this erosion. I will ilst some in no particular order of degree of impact: drug culture, TV catering to declining morality, reduced expectations of the educational system, fracturing of traditional family structure, fear of speaking truth, relaxation of expectations of what was required of those immigrating. One is then tempted to judge some of those factors to be prime movers with respect to others. But it seems rather it is a chicken and egg situation where some influence others with complicated feedback loops that exacerbate situations. Of course there is also a mechanism that intensifies the problems that being politics which panders to negative tendencies to accumulate power. What can be done and where will it end? Your questions exactly and I sadly have no suggestions either. Best wishes brother and press on.
Hard as things were in the 50's, 60's and 70's, I would go back there in a heartbeat. England was, on the whole, a homogeneous, pleasant and polite country. Now, in cities and many post industrial towns the streets are unsafe, dirty and generally unpleasant.
I see the dumbing down, too, even on the national health site. I was recently shocked to see among the list of side effects of a medication, 'diarrhoea' listed as 'loose poo'. That's how a 4-year-old speaks. Very sad.
You are 100% correct. Visiting England now is like participating in the zombie apocalypse. Almost like the land that time forgot. Very sad to see my beloved country going down the pan like this!

The U.K. has gone. Many of us don’t feel we belong here anymore. Most people are oblivious to what’s going on, or choose to not see the problems! I fear for my children
England? For quite some time , it is like walking through a town full of zombies . Some of the things I see on a daily basis in England , people used to go and pay to watch . UK is finished !
I was born in London and spent the first 25 years of my life there. Now, I will not visit. Its like a foreign land. Last time I visited (5+ years ago), I was asking for directions and could not find anyone who spoke English for more than 10 minutes. London is / has been destroyed by "the newcomers" and the mayors obvious contempt for anything representing originally classed as English.
Went to London about 10 years ago for my job. Upon arriving at Heathrow I thought I was in a middle eastern country when I walked into the terminal getting off the plane. All I saw were people wearing middle eastern garb.
Yeah thats not London though, that's the western part. Don't paint an entire city on your first impressions when walking out of an outskirts airport....
I'm British but left the UK 10 years ago, I have zero desire to return. I no longer recognise the country I was raised in. For the most part it's just a dump now.
Thankyou for noticing and speaking about what is happening in the UK. We're in a terrible mess here and I feel like we've only got about 5 months left before the country completely implodes and collapses (if not less.) I am in Scotland.
I absolutely disagree with that Western European nations did for the last 5 centuries, but its no excuse or rationalization to let Europe get overrun by people that can't conform to the societal norms there.
Toxic tories, with zero ideas, keeping morons satisfied with madeup buzzwords as a distraction for them to do nothing just play on time, hoping something changes

Thanks for covering this, Bjorn. Breaks my heart to see my country this way; betrayed and deflated. More people are becoming tired of it, though, and I'm happy to see more and more people wake up to what went wrong.
Hi, I could say the same about France, Germany, Austria, Sweden... it makes me sad because Europe is my continent and it is heading towards destruction...
Hello, I’m a 6th generation white Englishman now in my 70’s, what you are saying is what we all feel here, my country is “no longer” my country, I am a stranger in my hometown which is now 80% black/asian… I rarely go out anymore as the atmosphere feels threatening. England had close ties with Norway during WW2 as you know and I feel as a country we are losing our old friends because of this mass immigration, Thankyou for your kind words and for travelling here over the years, always remember “ the real English” are still here all be it hidden from view 🇬🇧🏴
Yes, Bjorn... Most of us, in England, who are over the age of 60, would agree with every word you say... We have a saying to describe everything you stated... It is as if we are watching a train crash, in very, very, very slow motion... The crash has been going on for the past 50 years, and there is NOTHING we can do to stop it... Mainly due to successive very poor governments, and a total failure to sort out any of the problems affecting our Country...... Yes, England WAS a lovely Country, but it has certainly changed for the worse...
I agree with you 100%. I am German and lived in the UK for over 30 years. I've now left because it's starting to feel like 1930s Germany. Racism is rife, people are rude and ignorant and uneducated. It breaks my heart because I love the country and that's why I made it my home for so long. But it's no longer possible to live there as a civilised person. It is very sad indeed.
I know Bjørn I have lived in and out of England for 52 years. Many factors are often due to lack of emotional intelligence. I did notice after covid lockdown was over we had a short period of unity and kindness but sadly people retrieved back in a cocooned existence.
I apologise for the rudeness of my fellow countrymen to you, Bjørn, and anyone else. I think this is a fear reaction to what is going on here: undermining of the justice system and people taking pride in dishonesty, parliament unrepresentative and deaf to the needs of the nation and only looking out for an honour from our ridiculous system, the family under threat as never before from social media, rising prices, the devaluation of education and hard work, the tearing up of the countryside to building more ugly shoddily built houses, overweight and obese people unable to accept responsibility for themselves, etc, etc. It is all coming to the boil. It is sickening and of course deeply worrying. This week our inept government is delivering a budget which will seek to make most ordinary people poorer it is believed, to pay for government’s bad choices and lack of attention. Yes, not a lot of cheer here, sorry to say, but thanks for your brotherly support. Appreciated.
As an English/American i have been asking myself this, i have a US and GB passport and have decided to leave the UK for a flyover state in the USA with my family we will be close to my US family l. Just foreigners sneering at you everywhere
Well said 👍
I would like to say as a woman, that women are getting the brunt of this, particularly on ❤ apps. I got bombarded with messages from the fresh arrivals and I couldn't take it anymore. I was receptive to Scots and anyone else from these isles but they weren't the people contacting me. I had to quit.

Nah go with your gut feeling, it's just a smoke screen, something far more n e ferious is going on
I'm British myself.
The time has come and gone and you didn’t fight.

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT A RACIST.
Well sweden is not that great, Mexico 's level of crime
So let them call you a racist.

Speaking the truth doesn't make you a rascist.
Careful. A judge ruled that the "truth is no defence" in the Sam Melia trial.
Sadly it currently does in the UK.
Except race is a fact and a reality of the world, denying this means denying the truth.
Keep the faith people . We're here for a reason ..
corrupt, bent, politicians, that's what happened to England
For the last 50 years....
Royals said nothing whilst this land was carved up.
We haven't been free in over 1000 years. We are an economic zone serving the pirates in the City.
That is outrageous. 😟😡😞
England is A dystopia in some areas. I am still young and hope to move out of England someday. No one talks to each other. People can’t even look each other in the eye.
Sad
I get the same exact feeling many times - that I am bothering people who I pay for their services - in my country.
True, I spend all my time alone in my flat, I only go outside for supplies and work. It's scary out there.
@@antonkomel9337 there’s a lot of that in the States as well. In a low trust society nobody cares. Everyone thinks they’re owed something.
London was nice years ago. Mind the gap.
What you describe is endemic in England, but we are not allowed to mention it. We are forcibly silenced.
100% facts
Most women support this, they are drowned in feminist and liberal ideology, which makes them see everything about these cousins
Yes, from the time of Thatcher onwards...
It started with Thatchers neoliberalism over 40 years ago
King Charles (The Wef) and his buddy Klaus happened.
And it’s happening to every western country in unison, just like a flew years ago.

Its difficult to find the right place. Its same rubbish everywhere. At people with small mobey and ordinary Jobs!
The government of the last 14 years sent us down the toilet .. That wasn't a joke to you ?
We've had nothing but shite government for a long time.
Btw , are disabled or have a disability ?
I have a spinal disability , am disabled and I think our assessment of physical disability is reasonable . The MH side however seems very open to abuse.
Not saying anything about your case, but "disabling back pain" is frequently used as an excuse because it's difficult to prove/disprove.
I believe it is happening all over the world. Culture is being destroyed by psyops.
Never give up and never surrender.
Thank you for your concern about what is happening to our country, Bjorn. It is appreciated that you sympathise with our downfall. I believe that as bad as it is now, it will only get worse. We are a country without hope.

I'm Irish but I've lived in England for 3/4 of my life and I can tell you it's turned to shit.
Totally agree with you. I observed the same thing in England... but also in Canada... nothing at all is like before, and we now feel like strangers in our own homeland. Very sad.
I spent the last week visiting friends in Southern Ontario and it was unrecognizable.
We can’t worry about what ppl call us. Our countries, our homeland are more important than what idiots think of us. Please don’t let this happen to Norway!
Your eyes see truth ad your mouth speaks it - You have my utmost respect!👍
Great message Bjorn. 💯👍
It started a massive decline when Tont Blair was in power in the early 90s, then the drugs poured in
I think it started before Tony and Gordon.... Probably Maggie...

You`re right. England is done.
