What happened to England? The same thing that's happening to Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, The US, Canada, Spain etc.... The politicians that get voted in don't serve the interests of the people, they serve special interests. And these special interests have decided that Europe must have a demographic shift.

I'm a Scotsman living in Bristol, England. I've been in England since the eighties and the changes I've seen have been dramatic. It's a filthy, angry, dumbed down and increasingly violent place. Different cultures have brought different beliefs, values and interests. We are a fractured and divided society that is indeed on a "downward spiral" as you put it. It breaks my heart, it really does. These new peoples have no loyalty to this country or love for the people of this country. Many of them actively hate us. It's an invasion and a takeover and it has been facilitated by our own leaders. They have sold us out to the globalists. The same thing is happening in Ireland and all over Europe. They will come for Norway too my friend.

It was just too much to even give him a basic human right to family life. Our relationship couldn't handle the massive pressure and we split. We wanted to do things by the book, legally and live in England, but couldn't. The UK govt destroyed our bond little by little. To see all those freeloaders parasitizing a country I still love, hurts and maddens me because I can't stop thinking what could we have built: a family founded on British values with the best of both words. I wish we could talk more about this openly, statistics are clear on this. I've tried to explain to my fiancé why I will never walk outside alone when it's dark anymore and he simply can't understand at all why I don't feel safe. I never felt unsafe when I lived in a homogenous town, but that changed when I moved to an increasingly diverse city. But saying that makes me a bad person.

If a girl is sexually assaulted 9/10 times she doesnt talk about it, if she does talk about the chance of the police doing something about it and getting a conviction are extremely low.
I see girls aged 10-15 walking around unaccompanied in my city at the same time as I see groups of young men from the MENA region walking around also. After learning about what happend in the UK with the grooming gangs you would have to be stupid to think the same thing is not happening here. It could be even worse here. Scandinavian people are introverted and don't talk about these things. They could be getting away with worse shit here.

As a young Englishman, I've slowly watched my country turn into an almost unrecognisable decadent Cess pit.
This is what happens when younger generations are indoctrinated and fall victim to the self hating apologetic mindset they teach in schools Accompanied by the policies of tratoirous politicians who care more about party politics and virtue signalling on the global stage than having the well being of England and it's people at heart.
It's a sorry state and sad to watch unfold.
Don't even feel safe in my own town centre and have avoided it for years now, I fear it will only get worse.
And it's not just the UK, it seems to a common trend all across western Europe, something needs to be done.

Sadly what I see now is selfishness, little respect for others and anxiety and depression is everywhere. The UK government is a joke (only 20% of the population voted the Labour Party into power). And apparently 1 in 5 people are "disabled" which I think is nonsense - they have zero self respect. If I could leave, I would.

I also agree with you about the society today. It all seems to be about 'me, me, me' rather than helping people. I am also 51, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was 19. I now have mobility problems. My limit is walking to the local shops using a walking stick. I need to sit down and rest before I walk home.
So I am registered disabled, have a blue badge, a disabled bus pass and a 3 year disabled person's railcard.
I do not really like society much now sso tend to stay at home with the dog's. Occasionally I will get a bus to the big supermarket (Tesco) and go to Aldi on the other side of the road. Get what I need, finish up in Tesco and then get the bus home.
The bus stops outside my house so that helps.

So sad... England is not alone... I am 81 and not an old curmudgeon (in my opinion) . I grew up in a suburban environment in Maine (USA) but was within a short bike ride or hike to woods and waterways/lakes. People had values that engendered civility and politeness. These values were centered around Judeo-Christian faith backgrounds, intact functional families, pride in their heritage, tolerance for others, and a positive type of pride concerning their appearance of themselves and property. When I grew to adult and ventured out into the larger world and lived several different places in the USA form New England to the Southwest I notices a gradual decline in all those values I mentioned above. The cause? I believe that their were many factors that caused this erosion. I will ilst some in no particular order of degree of impact: drug culture, TV catering to declining morality, reduced expectations of the educational system, fracturing of traditional family structure, fear of speaking truth, relaxation of expectations of what was required of those immigrating. One is then tempted to judge some of those factors to be prime movers with respect to others. But it seems rather it is a chicken and egg situation where some influence others with complicated feedback loops that exacerbate situations. Of course there is also a mechanism that intensifies the problems that being politics which panders to negative tendencies to accumulate power. What can be done and where will it end? Your questions exactly and I sadly have no suggestions either. Best wishes brother and press on.

Hello, I’m a 6th generation white Englishman now in my 70’s, what you are saying is what we all feel here, my country is “no longer” my country, I am a stranger in my hometown which is now 80% black/asian… I rarely go out anymore as the atmosphere feels threatening. England had close ties with Norway during WW2 as you know and I feel as a country we are losing our old friends because of this mass immigration, Thankyou for your kind words and for travelling here over the years, always remember “ the real English” are still here all be it hidden from view 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Yes, Bjorn... Most of us, in England, who are over the age of 60, would agree with every word you say... We have a saying to describe everything you stated... It is as if we are watching a train crash, in very, very, very slow motion... The crash has been going on for the past 50 years, and there is NOTHING we can do to stop it... Mainly due to successive very poor governments, and a total failure to sort out any of the problems affecting our Country...... Yes, England WAS a lovely Country, but it has certainly changed for the worse...

I agree with you 100%. I am German and lived in the UK for over 30 years. I've now left because it's starting to feel like 1930s Germany. Racism is rife, people are rude and ignorant and uneducated. It breaks my heart because I love the country and that's why I made it my home for so long. But it's no longer possible to live there as a civilised person. It is very sad indeed.

I know Bjørn I have lived in and out of England for 52 years. Many factors are often due to lack of emotional intelligence. I did notice after covid lockdown was over we had a short period of unity and kindness but sadly people retrieved back in a cocooned existence.

I apologise for the rudeness of my fellow countrymen to you, Bjørn, and anyone else. I think this is a fear reaction to what is going on here: undermining of the justice system and people taking pride in dishonesty, parliament unrepresentative and deaf to the needs of the nation and only looking out for an honour from our ridiculous system, the family under threat as never before from social media, rising prices, the devaluation of education and hard work, the tearing up of the countryside to building more ugly shoddily built houses, overweight and obese people unable to accept responsibility for themselves, etc, etc. It is all coming to the boil. It is sickening and of course deeply worrying. This week our inept government is delivering a budget which will seek to make most ordinary people poorer it is believed, to pay for government’s bad choices and lack of attention. Yes, not a lot of cheer here, sorry to say, but thanks for your brotherly support. Appreciated.

As an English/American i have been asking myself this, i have a US and GB passport and have decided to leave the UK for a flyover state in the USA with my family we will be close to my US family l. It pains me to leave GB i have lived here my entire life, but i have to put my young girls first and I don't want them growing up in the UK as it is now.

You are absolutely right Bjorn, England is now unrecognisable to the wonderful country I grew up in.
If someone was stabbed to death 30 years ago it would have been national news and people would have been truly shocked. These days people are stabbed to death literally every single day on our streets and it's become the norm.
When I am able too I plan on leaving the place I've called home for the past 4 decades. 😢
