Very fun hunt. That tree is huge. Just getting out and digging up some clad and other things is better then sitting home and wanting to get out.. Still have not tried the pinpointer thing out yet.. Happy Hunting ..Peace
I was surprised that I found this much as this park has been hit often... Just shows that with a good machine and ear you can still find some treasure that others have missed!😜
If that deep 1980s coin was not too rotten it was probably 1982 copper, here in Canada we had zinc pennies from 1997-2012 and I've never found one not rotten, and that's not even deep ones
That day was our 47nd wedding anniversary, so I was I kind of in a rush. There was also a lot of EMI, so I could only crank sensitivity up to about 20... I'd probably find more if I went back another day😅
Lol I had been taking my grandson to the corner of rt 66 and Vermont, I would pass by that tree and tell him I want to hit this old tree. We must be neighbors. I live in Charter Oak. If ya need a huntin buddy I'm an old guy. Got5 detectors, Go to the beach when I can see the end of the street. I like to go early. I have hit a lot of parks around here. Got asked to leave Glendora HS. They dont like us there. Get back to me.
You are invited! 🤜🤛 Have you tried using historicalarials.com? Great tool to see what's old. It has a flashlite feature that allows you to see old and new on the same screen!
I was born in 1957 and have been detecting off and on since I was 10. That was a special day as my wife and I have been married for 47 years... She said, hey, grab your metal detector! Glad I did... After that little hunt we went out for dinner and had a 28oz porter house steak and ribs : )
See pockets in roots fill with top soil snow peas run a bit of chicken wire up tree have x 3 ladders 13 ins of 4x4 ins blocks as steps and in pockets grow cucumber 🥒. 😂
