I picked up my Equinox 900 slightly used (20 minutes) with two coils for $770 on eBay. Buy still live using the Xterra Pro too!

I've only been able to use the X Terra for just about 20 minutes. What do you think of it. Have you found some nice Coins and Relics with it.

There might be more as the ground gets plowed each year!

Is titanium conductive with an ohm meter? As this one is not

@@ParkMetalDetecting hi I'm sorry I don't know anything about that. I just have a titanium ring with forged inside it. I could be mistaken about yours. I just thought it might help.

It was... but getting up wasn't as the ground was so soft 😜

Scoopy Joe also wears a white long sleeve shirt, looks hot to me, I try to wear overalls because belts give me a plumbers butt but the overalls get pretty toasty in the summer, I'm thinking about getting some braces next for summer, hopefully they work better than the belts

@@ParkMetalDetecting yep same here 800 for brass =solid 18. Xterra for pure gold =55and 23. Xterra I use a fair bit on new ground first ie good for 95.2% silver and 52.5% silver 5 or 10khz beach 2 is also very good 8khz. 800 4khz brilliant as well on half penny's 1919 coins . Single frequency in black soil .

Brass is very brittle, especial if you pound on it like these have been. Here in CA copper goes for almost $5 a pound... These weight over 1 lb each!

Actual it's non conductive to electricity and it does not read up on the detector. Come to find out that is a Ceramic Ring that is made by high pressure molding that makes it as hard as tungsten.

Search where beach erosion has occurred! Keep your eyes open for surface finds! This was a non-metal custom ceramic ring. I'll probably never find another one!😅

Thanks, I did install the furry wind covers and had the Insta360 Ace Pro wind reduction turned on too but forgot to put on the 1+ doupler lens... doh. Happens when you do things last minute 😅 Can't wait to get back there now with my 6" coil!

The beach scoop I used worked great and was not bent or damage by the rocks... There is an affiliate link in the descriptions if you'd like to get you. They are only $29.95 on Amazon... I have two of them. Say in the bedrock if you don't mind the rocks... Best if you have a 6 to 8" coil as anything bigger is going to be a pain in the butt with all the iron in there too. There is over a mile of it!

@ParkMetalDetecting I have two sand shovels, and three dirt diggers. I do more parks. Beach is just not my thing. I think it is because everyone hunts them. When I need a change I will do a beach hunt here and there other then that I stay to tot lots and parks

@brettellis1837 lol... I was running as much sensitivity as I could as most targets were really deep below those rocks. I only had a couple hours to search as it was a date day with wife :) Next time, I'll have a small backpack so I can take the 6" coil... that would of been the hot ticket!

I didn't play with them... Just the stock beach 1 setup. What do you recommend?

@@MiamiDetectorist I prefer parks too as driving 3 to 4 hours to get to a beach and back is a lot of work... Working on Parking our RV close by so I can do it for a few days at a time : ) Curious what detector you swing?

@@ParkMetalDetecting And RV is an awesome idea! Well, the beaches are only about 8 miles from my house. They’re so grossly over hunted that you can spend hours out there collecting bottle, caps and pulltabs and a bunch of corroded old coins that are almost unidentifiable so you end up throwing them all out regardless. I’m so over watching videos of these eights on the coastal shores of South Florida claiming to pull up gems and jewels left and right. I do far better in the parks. And this is where it gets a little complicated because I have several machines. I started a Lyft and ATT pro and quickly decided that that was way too heavy and just not easy to operate or understand. Then I moved over to the Nox 800 and I like that a whole lot better than I thought maybe I should give, the Legend. Well, I like that machine I still felt more comfortable and proficient with the Nox. I felt all the hype of the Nox 900 and purchased that. I don’t see a huge difference between the 800 and the 900. I tend to use the 900 in total lots and the 800 everywhere else. I’m the only real reason for that is because I have the smaller coil on the 900 that I’ve purchased the XTerra Pro for my daughter-in-law and she showed interest in the hobby. When we went out for the first time and she found a ring I was receiving with jealousy. Lol I’ve purchased one for myself and another one for one of my sons.

@MiamiDetectorist That's pretty cool! I started with a White's 6000 Di at $700 40 years ago and bought another one on OfferUp for $110 but it was the better professional model... my first TH-cam compares it to the Xterra Pro! At 17 sensitivity on an air test, it equaled the Whites! I then picked up a slightly used Nox 900 with both coils for $780 as they work fine on the Xterra Pro... Another video. :)

All ways watching never miss lol like my 800 does not miss .

Last treasure in sand pit was a ripper 13 diamonds 🔹.

That was a12 on 800. 22 on xterra.

@@ParkMetalDetecting grinch xterra and 800 nox 900 in the water but old 900 sold it at some stage will get another looking at a 700 why water depth is 5meters better than 900 some say. Will give that dd a crack on xterra but never did that yet got v12 on my unit.

@@ParkMetalDetecting That would be wild. I have detected twice in the last week or so and found 2 of the Gold dollars. One has the Indian Girl on it and the other the 10th President. One was right next to the plastic Merry Go Round. That reminds me, I need to empty my Pouch. If I let it get too full it starts feeling like my shorts will fall down.

That would of at least paid for my gas😅
