Hi Jess, you without doubt have the clearest and easiest to understand tutorials. I adore your cute little characters! Thank you, you have made PS so much easier to understand! Xxx
Thank you SO MUCH! I have been searching for so long to find someone who want to paint in the traditional way with digital paint! All I could find was the graphic approach to coloring. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh my god!! Thankyou veeeery much! I will re-paint all my piece in that order. Layer normal, pencil multiply! Thats the golden key!! Really great job and help! If I find another problem, I will ask you because your answers are very clear!! Thankyou very much again, Jess Bircham.
Will having the additional group's color layers on normal make it so the water colour texture does not show through? Hard to tell if that adorable bunny has the same texture as the background
Great video thanks! What if you want to add a bit of transparency to the elements sitting on top of the background? Similar to how multiply up the colour here but the object placed on top doesn't get darker it preserves more of the original colour and you can also see the background colour under it? (Hope that makes sense!) :)
Hmm interesting question Becky. I think I am understanding what you want and my suggestion would be to try playing with the opacity of the layer you want to see through. You can find the opacity button on the layers menu to the right of the drop down menu that has "Normal, Multiply" etc. You can change the opacity of any layer or object by percentages - you can do just a little 10% 20% or fully opaque 100% - try that and see if it helps. Thanks
