To trick the Final Boss is to be the savior we all needed. Super excited to see this one!
44:12 "Where are the Ghosts??" Doing their job of staying hidden if you can't find them
After getting picked apart in that first game, watching Cure surgically annihilate Dark in game 2 so quickly and decisively and then stonewall him in game 3 was a real treat.
This matchup literally never fails to deliver. The casting has been so good lately Winter!
It's not about whether Cure wins or loses, it's about how Dark plays the game.
amazing how hard fought a first game can be and then how quick a second game can be.
In these uncertain and stressful times, your videos are a fun relief. Thanks for doing what you do, Winter.
That last game was very good. Very well played by the victor.
great thanks ! Dark is impressive as always the impersonification of the swarm. The feeling of being overwhelmed by an organic mass like in starship troopers. just watched G1 for now, will come back later. Very satisfying to watch
Well said
Fantastic as always :) In answer to your question a few videos ago. I love the variety in the video lengths. It keeps it entertaining and let's us pick and choose what we are in the mood for. And if we don't have time for a 2 hour in one sitting, we can always pause and come back to it. Thanks for making our days that little bit (or a lot) better.
Winter: "...that is NOT for hellbats..."
Narrator: "It was for hellbats."
It wasn't though, at least not specifically. It was for 2/2 first
@@azentra7560 Of COURSE it's for 2/2, why wouldn't he go for 2/2??? Its not worth mentioning at that point.
But what's FUNNY, if you have something like a sense of humor, is him specifically stating "its not for hellbats" when hellbats came out almost immediately.
01:50 reminds me of when Serral banelingbusted a Toss because he got angry there was a pylon in the wall
The way Dark won that second game was just pure Zerg, you love to see it.
Who knew the Dark could be defeated by the light of the blue flame 😂
Love Dark!!!! Thanks for all the content Winter!
The death animations look different. No physics or particle effects. Is this a new setting for visual clarity?
think winter is running medium settings to keep the replay smoother
2:42 LOL
Thank you winter for bringing StarCraft content I haven’t play in 4 years but I never miss a series I watch a lot of SC2 content you are definitely my favorite source 😊
Great vid, getting back into SC2 and glad there is awesome content to consume! Thanks!
I love that word...Bamboozled!
41:15 felt like the hots cinematic
I love the thumbnail! Hilarious
You’ve been on top of your thumbnail game recently Winter, keep it up, they’re all relatively unique and interesting.
I can only imagine how difficult that must be!
Cure's splits in game 2 were sublime.
13:41 PoW when im on my way to work...
Why no death animations? Just wondering. Is it to increase reach on TH-cam by avoiding a more mature rating of the video (would that work?), or does it have nothing to do with that?
Its because sometimes replays are bugged depending on the patch.
22:10 "Gather around children, let me tell you a tale of greed from the bygone days of Wings of Liberty. We would build 1 barracks into 3 CCs then into double engy bay before doing anything offensive or defensive"
"What would you do if zerg attacked before 8 minutes?"
"Complain"
I really like watching sc2 pro content I used to watch husky and whatnot. I know the lingo now I'm not a good player at all but I really enjoy how you've created a style of casting that can involve people who don't know the game too much your added commentary and signature call outs really add to the fun of watching and listening
Love these videos.Don't ever stop.Ever.
Wow! Game 2! Just wow!
Great series!
Being a terran when 8 medivacs of units is 80 supply realising 8 dropperlords of lings is 32 supply
i think because he has the upgrade advantage he went hellbats, so that he has to waste the banes on hellbats and then the marines will just wreck the lings with hte upgrade advantage, really smart
Winter casts...the only videos i press like before i even watch them :)
Sooooo gooooood game !!!! Soooo gooood Cast !!!! thanks for all i love what u make
King of profesional SC2 !!!!!
Cure and Dark is always an intense game. They flip back and forth over who is going to be the dominate one between them each year. Dark usually comes out on top, but there's quite a few times Cure has put the hurt down.
I love royal blood for zergs. The creep spread is a great advantage in attacking both sides. The overlord doom drop wasn't necessary but dark will try every attack no matter how weird it is.
literally the only yt vids I hit like on. plz never stop
wonder if the max graphics settings are coming back any time soon
Cure and Dark can both be so inconsistent 😂
love Dark
i am not sure if it exists, but if it did, it would be awesome to see a version of starcraft 2 but with warhammer 40k
Those Banshees might not of been MVPs but dam did Cure use them THE ENTIRE GAME? I was kinda hoping he would use then more during the mid-game but really.put them to later on.
The Dark grows Darker..
20:13 maybe like a "bronze league"-tablet? 🤪
Can someone explain what the new thing about Cure's builds was?
Extremely fast 2/2 timing that also takes advantage of the Armory to use hellbats for tanking and splash.
Thank you!
Cure!!!!! Yeah he looked good there. Definitely emulate Cure, he makes mistakes, and still is one of the best players in the world.
most people watching this dont even have 10% of cure's skills at this game
@@toaster4k 10% is beyond generous. There's probably less than 100 people in the world with 10% of his (or any top player's) skill.
Im guessing the number of likes winter is asking for before he asks... 1090?
DARK!!❤
When do we get to meet Jimmy?
12, 18, 35, 48... ..... GG
What year is it?
Did someone say
TERRRRRRRAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!
What happened to the graphics settings? the deaths look weird now
what ever cure has been doing he should keep at it. he was a pretty good player but now a days he seems to have gone up a step or two
I'm surprised that Terran's don't have a 2 CC before barracks build.
It's because you usually die if you try that (Also you need a Barracks to get an Orbital and Orbitals are kinda OP)
"I am surprised that Terran is do not have a 2 CC before barracks build."
they do? its called cc first
CC First happens at tournament level, but they do it very rarely for obvious reasons.
Hellbats can be healed by medivacs and are the sole source of splash damage that doesn't require gas that also happens to be very good vs lings/chargelots.
For the algorithm
Graphics setting is too low. Put that bad boy on ultra
You expect Jimmy to have the settings correct ???!!
bro drinking liquid eror
banelings gotta be a top 3 brainless unit
You'd think that, until you realize how much effort it takes on the zerg's part to actually make them connect, lol. I'm not talking about microing them through bio balls, either. I'm talking about dealing with every potential threat to a flood of bling/ling. Sieged tanks need to be abducted/clouded/killed, widow mines need to be burnt, firebats need to be killed without losing a critical number of banelings, and then if the terran is feeling generous enough to fuck up his stutterstep/medivac GTFO micro the banelings might get more value in damage than they do making the terran kite back.
Out of all the "haha human error, say goodbye to 2/3rds of your army!" units, I'd argue banelings need the most setup and micro to actually make it happen at the higher tiers of play. More than disruptors' accuracy by volume or widow mines' burrow n' forget.
@@JohnSmith-zf3yk and that is why they place 3rd on the most brainless units
just behind widow mines
and if im honest i think storm is more brainless than disruptors but thats just me
(cause like if you are truly braindead you can just wipe yer own army with disruptors)
I'd say A-move units are more brainless than all the above: BCs, carriers, chargelots, zerglings, archons
Now, if they are OP is a different story.
HT and WM can both backfire if used improperly and require keeping track of cooldowns.
@@Larter232 Sure they're functionally brainless down in Diamond or where-ever. But if someone understands even the basics of pro level SC2 then mines or banes have no place near the top 3.
first game was over at 8ish min at the baneling bust losing that much economy smh. nah its not right dark was just up 1.4k minerals could pump out 10x the units cure could. but nah lets string this game along like pros are going to fumble their macro.
more BFA music
yah-yah-yah-yah-yuh-yahyah
Rooting for dark to lose, guy is op
I voted for cure
Just love to see Cure win over an OP race of Zerg played by Dark who usually just mass produces zeglings to win most of his muthafuckin games!!!
so Cure proved the only counter to baneling for anyone not named Clem or Byun is to go full greed and hope the Zerg player doesn't get wind of it...great balance Blizzard!
Dark scouted in game 2, so he knew Cure went two racks, he knew what was going on, but Cure put pressure with the reapers, pinning the lings back. Dark could risk a bust, but it would cost his third (he almost lost it anyway).
On the issue of banelings, Cure used hellbats, which are a nightmare for ling/bane because they melt the former and tank the latter. You can also use widow mines and/or split marines versus banes, pick marines up on medivacs and do split pushes (like Cure did on game 3). If you can't do any of that, mech is a much more viable sollution because it requires less skill.
So a random TH-cam commenter proved that comments are often silly by saying one game is "proof" of something 😂
unfortunately, I've seen this already on Pig's channel, won't finish watching
YOUR KNOW... THE OLD SCHOOL BROOD WAR players would sckool these so called new PRO'S in SC... ESPECIALLY these zerg players... back then all you had to do to beat a zerg player was hunt down their overlord early and often and force them to play defense all game by keeping those overlords in the corner of the map and make them build useless spore towers!!! NOW, I DON'T even see one current player doing this tactic against zerg... WHAT A JOKE!!!
Dark threw the game, didn't want to match up with Maru. Not because he doesn't think he can beat him but because he wants to save it for a grand final lol
Come on winter, been waiting all day :)
