Hope you guys all enjoyed this new challenge! Let me know if you would like to see more of this and if there's any improvements you think I could make :) Also a quick note about the player with 3k mmr you guys are bashing ; he usually plays on another server and got 3k mmr after doing his placements, I checked his match history and he got a freewin against a diamond player and besides that only beat a bronze and a silver. From playing against him I don't think he lied about his rank ^^ Thanks for watching all
What really made this episode wholesome was the chat towards the end. Its just everyone having fun and bantering a little bit. The "you found my little base" felt like a kid hiding behind the curtains while youre still able to see their feet. It just puts a smile on your face
I would love to see more of this kind of challenge, it's fascinating! Another idea could be: "bronze to grandmaster". It's like the "win using only my mouse" challenge, except you don't get a mouse either, just a bronze player, who you would coach live :D Except you don't coach to help them get better, but just to get them to win. It would be cool to see how far that player could get, if you could get them into master league. And I would want to know after the challenge how much the bronze player's game improved due to all the experience they got on the show.
Facts. I placed into *Diamond* the first time I played ranked with only one real win and the rest auto-quits, and I didn't even know what all my buildings did.
Bunio here. I waited for this video! It was a great pleasure to play with you. Now, thanks to the video, I know what did happen because it was too quick for me during the game :) Sorry to my teammates that I was too passive in the 3rd game. I believed that my banshees would help, but it was too late (I was too slow). However, BCs and widow mines did some work! I am looking up to the next game! It was awesome. Thanks, Marc!
One thing I don't understand from the final stats is how his resource production was so much higher than everyone else's. Just the skill of faster clicking?

Honestly I think it's probably one of the best challenges you've came up with. Hope it will grow to a full series. Also it seemed like in the last game the zerg player wasn't building any units at all. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time expecting some giant army a-move but it just never happened.
Zerg player needed to relocate and ran out of money. Slowly trying to rebuild economy. UThermal did a great job of looping the map early with reapers to knee cap early eco.
This is so much fun omg. You're single-handedly bringing new life to SC entertainment. Your commentary is amazing as well, WHILE PLAYING AGAINST 6 PEOPLE! Insane.
After your first game I thought you'd taken a challenge that was just way too difficult. 6 players, all able to commuicate and micro all at once sounds insane. Yet what's even more insane is the speed at which you learn and realise what you're opponents are going to do, to be able to go from a relatively quick loss to a win in just 3 games is amazing! Its awesome to watch you complete these challenges!
Great videos uThermal. Loving the entertainment. Would love to have been listening into the other players' chat. "He can't be attacking you, because he's attacking me". "Quiet you two, he can't be attacking either of you, because he's defending against me!". "How does he keep making units?". "He's taking a new base!".
This is a fantastic idea! @uThermal, next time please do instruct one of the opponents to record their gameplay! I think it would be very interesting to watch the game from their perspective and hear what they said via voice chat.
I really appreciate the real-time tactical commentary on these. Helps me think about what to prioritize and the pacing of everything, in a way that watching high-level commentary on pro games just doesn't.
The interesting thing about this challenge, although you can adapt, I think the lower elo players can adapt better- They have so much room for improvement and if they all did just a couple things of things additionally, they'd sweep.
I think it would need to be 3x13, or even 2x14, if you can believe that. With 2 pro players, they can build massive synergy, while the extra 7th-14th low league heros are still just going to die. I think, funnily enough, if you give the other players enough games, they might start to be able to beat Marc. It only took Marc 3 games to find the right balance, and I bet he could keep winning. We'll see how vs 7 goes.
This was very enjoyable to watch. I like to see this type of interactive fan content from time to time, and it looks like everyone involved had a great time.

It also really does require a different mindset while playing, and I found one of the most effective things I could do in that game is just scout out the two players for my allies. Of the games we won, it was often due to a blindside against weakpoints discovered by my satellites.

Ideas for challenges? You at the address) : 1) In the GML with an inverted screen (landscape, inverted), and the mouse cannot be inverted. 2) Defeat two diamonds that have a maphack. 3) Defeat 5000mmr with 50% health 4) Defeat 7 AI cheaters by giving them 3 (aircraft only). 5) In GML, without a mouse (reassign the "execute" command to the keyboard as with rapid fire). 6) In the GML, collecting the composition of the army, which is as vulnerable as possible to the composition of the enemy army.
How can u just seemingly effortless talk while doing all this things, its just mindblowing. When I look at your eyes that jump around all the time it is just funny and impressive :D
Crazy micro-speed and fast-thinking from uThermal! Best comment in part 3: "There are actually so many banshees they block out the sun!" This is just golden :D

Well played for everybody. Maybe as a follow up the players can be asked to be all Zerg, all Protoss, all Terran, or a mix (3 Terran 3 Protoss or 2 of each race). I think it has a potential for a monthly series or so.
I love this challenge! Surprised you didn't expand to the right on the 2nd game. Can't believe that guy in the 3rd game had that many Banshees just sitting around. Definitely could have got the win, if he used them well.
I actually was cheering for your opponents on this one in the first game because I thought that you would just destroy them. But the did manage to win first to games! GG on both sides
The fact that you're able to last this long against them is impressive on it's own. It seems that if all of them just agreed to build their basic unit and attack move them to your base they could just overwhelm you with sheer numbers regardless if they micro'd or not. So impressive either way.

Awesome, as always. I would also like to see in Archon mode a game against six gold players. You present wonderful challenges, it is a pleasure to watch you.❤️
This was fun to watch! Can't wait for the 1v7!
Yo! I really enjoyed this challenge so much. Great video UThermal, insane multitasking. I'm a protoss player but I enjoy and respect your plays as a Terran. Keep it on, man 🙌🏻 Greetings from Perú 🇵🇪
I love how positive you are. That is the best feature.
Some effective strategy that might help beating uthermal
-Greedy BC/Thor rush
-Scatter widow mines around the map
-Invisible/Cloaked units to waste scans
-Zerg feed teammates with gold bases?
This was very entertaining to watch. It'd have been fun being in it haha
I've never played SC2, but this was fun to watch. I don't know exactly what was going on, but enough.
I always get a kick out of your challenges and your strictness to adhere to whatever rules you create for them.
Elaborate
@@jawadsabih4979 If you look up his videos he has many challenges ranging from ravens to gm, marines to gm, 1 v 7 insane ai etc. Each of those challenges he outlines what units or playstyle he will use and will stick to it. The only time he may go off and create a new rule is if some type of cheese just auto wins if he doesnt break a rule.
Really nice video, you can see that uthermal does this for fun, not just to ''show off''.
It was so exiting!
Machine Learning on the fly. 3-rd game and win! WOW!
Lots of fun watching this, and WOW what a job to get through, You're truly a master. :)
So impressive either way.
they would also win with a worker rush
they have achieve what I can't !!! (winning a best of three)glory to them XD
46:43 Blocking out the sun with transparent banshees.😂
here's a challenge, play archon mode with like hero marine or something and do archon mode or 2v6 against some platinum players
Ooo that would be fun
This challenge is so exciting from the very first second it starts!
Love your healthy competitive attitude Marc, a true pro legend!
Amaizing dude. Make a serie please of this challanges
Love this. This is exactly what I've been wanting to see.
hey Marc, thanks for the great contents as always.
For the FFA thing you are planning to do may I suggest you invite GGG (GiantGrantGaming) as one of your candidates please? This could get the non-melee-game side of community involved plus he is a decent melee game player who always loves fun challenges too.
Time difference and server latency might be an issue though, so all good if it can't happen, still love you and what you are doing for the community. Thanks and have a great day :)
I really like your commentary, many things that you are doing better than the other sc2 TH-camrs
