I like that pig tried so hard to figure out the GoldenArmada and Doogley insults, when it was just GoldenArmada saying the overlord died, then Doogley implying that overlord was GoldenArmada's mom, then GA hitting back with zerg never truly die, so neither did his mom.
I think it was actually a through line where anything Golden Armada says, Doogley would respond with a "your mother" version of that - like using "drowning" in the next "your mom" response. When Golden brought up the overlord dying, the through line would be to make a "your mom died" joke (the word joke is very generous in this case), but Doogley claimed to be above making it.

The ostrich thing is largely a myth. They can stick their head in to holes in the ground. However, ostriches are actually incredibly dangerous. They're fast, have long reach, and their talons will shred anything that gets close to them. In short, ostriches don't need to play stupid when they can just straight up kill most things that try to threaten them.
And they hatch with adrenal glands already researched. You can’t outrun them.

The main reason ostriches put their heads down in the ground is to turn their eggs, which they have dug a shallow hole in the sand as a nest for. They turn the eggs several times a day, so in the right season an ostrich with its head in the ground is a fairly common sight.
The head in the sand is not a myth but the reason for it is -- it's not cowardice, it's childcare!
As an American, I loved the "freedom units versus units that make sense" joke.
I normally call them chaos units and only use them to troll people. You want my high in american units allright Im exactly 1 fathom long. There are dozens of american units for lenght you didnt ask for feet. If you had asked for SI units and Id told you 18,3 decimeters you could instantly convert to the more commonly used 1,83 meters or 183 centimeters.
There was a guy who raged at me ridiculously hard after losing, and then after a while he just started talking about how life's shit and he's having a bad crack trip.
I got him to agree to go easy on the hard stuff, but who knows.
Hope he's doing better.

I think the logic of 'no rush X minutes' comes from wanting to just see two big armies clash against one another. It's kinda anticlimactic if one Reaper or Adept just clears a worker line, then the person can't do anything other than quit or bleed out slowly. There still is skill in micro-ing the army and resupplying the frontline, even if the more effective strategy is ensuring the opponent has no economy. This mindset is often from older RTS players who didn't have customs to play those army clash gamemodes, so it was their early way of setting up the concept. Back in the ole' days, you know a match was good when there were so many units it started to lag the match. It seemed like the real wincon was melting your family computer.
unfortunately, there's some races that are favoured in this scenario, so harassment is fair game.

What went wrong in the last game? It was such a peacefull conversation between to fellow gamers, but it all went south so suddenly!
Happened to me way back in WoL. Zerg was telling me how much he sucks at the game and we discussed our fave and least fave units.
Then we said let's just a+move our deathballs at each other in the middle of Antiga Shipyard. Ofc the protoss deathball won.
Guy immediately went full death threat mode against me, my family, my pet and all other protoss players.
Some people just don't take losing well, and/or have unchecked anger management issues
Some people never learned how to deal with stress, or worse, were taught to deal with it via aggression.
Austriches do not stick their head in the ground. Rather they get on their backwards folding knees and sit down with the tail touching the ground and with their head nicely blending in among their feathers humans can sometimes confuse which is the front and which is the back of the bird.

Navin plays silver league very well. Proxy dark shrine generally equals insta win because low level players don't build turrets or scan quickly enough, or don't build unit's to kill when detection is available.

So, for everyone in the comments and PIG, being a machinist who has to make things in both communist and freedom units, the key number to convert between the two systems is 25.4. mm to inches is division and inches to mm is multiplied.
So 3mm girth is 0.118 inches and after seeing that play. I think you're being too forgiving. I was thinking about .05 inches or slightly bigger than 1mm in girth.
The length has to be sub 1mm like probably .5 mm or roughly .02 inches.
That's just my rough take from working in my field.

That dark templar game, 1 raven wouldve turned the game into a completely different scenario.
He could have even floated the barracks somewhere closer to the protoss base and built a few marines and he could have killed almost all his probes. Not to mention hiding an ebay somewhere, after leaving his main so he could build turrets. Or just making an orbital instead of a PF?

That is so fun. Especially since your mmr is roughly the same in the new season so a diamond player would never go into gold just because its a new season.
