Sick. Just got the cams and CJ in 2 weeks ago and Lund tuned it. Cars is a beast. Raced another Gen 2 manual with gt350 intake and blew his doors off. Setup is unreal, ignore the haters, it was worth every dollar. Car is louder during idle and wot.
A cammed cj setup is far superior to a basic bolt on gt350 manifold car or any other manifold for that matter so this isn't surprising. People look at peak rwhp and think it isn't worth it. Bottom line is a cammed cj car fbo on e85 will be significantly faster than a fbo e85 car with just an 18 manifold or 350 manifold even a cj. The cams allow the cj to do what it supposed to do. If you're only gonna run stock cams a 350 or 18 mani may be better overall but if you go cams cj is it and it's significantly faster than a run if the mill bolt on setup peak numbers be damned. There is so much more to it than peak power and alot of guys haven't figured it out yet.
Great info, not actual 1/4 miles times at the strip, but dragy numbers I did 11.98 at 121 on Michelin ps4’s on the street. Gt350 mani, pmas, e85 on stock clutch and axles
Can't wait for you to cover Gen 3 builds. I've got a '21 GT PP1 manual and it is a lot of fun stock, but coming from a C7 it is noticeably slower and in need of some beefing up, but I haven't decided if I want to stay NA or go blower.
Waiting for the 6r80 vids. Rn im tuned for lund on a flex tune or a e85 race tune and ive got 2018 manifold ( imrc locked), lu47ib injectors, pmas 120mm, corsa extreme catback, catless texas speed long tube headers, and a little weight reduction. Trynna get the cheapest ess supercharger kit soon to hit 700-750hp.
I was looking forward to this one, I wanted to hear your thoughts on a ported 18 manifold with n/a cams. Of course it won’t carry out power like a CJ, but I’m just curious about your thoughts on that set up.
I love being smarter after your vids as opposed to legit feeling dumber from other youtubers putting garbage up on the platform. Truly appreciate you sir.. keep up the killer content
Alex, what year model S550 would you rate the best overall for drifting in factory form (must remain full street legal and daily drivable). Literally been watching your content all day but it mostly relates to drag racing.
He said he'd be making a video for all Gen 1-3 coyote combinations, auto and manual, NA and boost. So it should be coming up in the next couple videos.
I think it comes down to track prep too. Most tracks near me don’t even prep good and you have too many Hondas with AC on the track. Makes it shitty for everyone else
I have a 90 fox coupe and I have a gen 2 f150 motor studded and gt500 headgaskets 6r80 with a circle d convertor I'm putting a vmp Odin on top.. my fuel system is a stock tank with 525 hellcat pump.. my whole goal is 650 to 675 rear wheel tops..I don't really want more do any of you guys think that 525 hellcat pump is good for that?. The rear is a built 8.8 3.55 gear 31 spline..275 60 15 tire..e85..
I have a ported 350 IM, FFE, and E85 on my Gen 2 6R80. Launching as hard as the stock TC will allow without doing a burnout I was pulling a 1.7 60ft and running 11.8@117. Either my car really is a dud or manuals are faster than autos
I seen a guy on mustang lifestyles channel run a manual 331 geared 15 back in the day and went 11.3 at 122 mph. It was fbo gt350 manifold and e85 it did 453/399. If you can drive the manual 11-17 is every bit as fast as the 6r. The 10r is quicker because of gearing. The 18 up manual gearing sucks it needs 456s but nobody will put that gear in one for some reason.
@@169abr seriously! Every single one of these guys that asks for a video of their Gen, I want to reply to, but I stopped after one. Not wasting my time lol

Can't wait for the Gen2 manual with boost. Installing a ported predator on mine later this summer!

All this info is pretty readily available and he's been over alot of it 100x on this channel you must be new.
Loving this series🔥
Digging this series. Can’t wait for gen2 6r80 stuff, but still loves me some stick shift content.
Honestly fords racing atage 2 kit did make a difference in my 17. Upped the rpm redline and a little more torque and horsepower

Waste of a cam, cams and CJ, any other combo with cams is not living up to it's full potential.

Really like these videos, any chance of you making a boosted s550 stck video like this?

Do you need billet oil pumps gears to rev it out past 7300??
Na no. Boosted 10 psi no.

Thanks. Alex I have a 2012 boss 302 engine. How good are the boss cams for a CJ intake. ? Please thanks

Steedas stuff, 100% calling them for setup is best.

I have a dumb question, my s550 came with GT350 intake and TB, what tune you recommend for e85?
What do you think about the BangShift Billy Digital Clutch Controller to help with 60' times? is it worth the money? thanks
Instead of the pmas fenderwell, what about the steeda closed box?
No
I have a question about the cams. Do you prefer Comp stage 3 over MHS race or race extreme cams? If so, why? I'm just curious. Thanks!

Hey Alex you missed mentioning gears like gen 1 , I have a pp1 with 3.73s is it worth going 3.31 for the nA stuff ?
3.73 is the best gear for the Gen 2 manual cars.
Can you mention the purple fuel stuff name ?
How do yall feel bout the gt350 intake manie and axels??

Go watch all of shows and videos from the beginning. I answer every question ever.
I’ve got a second gen. Ported 18 manifold, pmas, full headers and exhaust, E85 Lund tune. Anyone else dyno? Estimated horsepower
Depending on the dyno and DA in your area, you likely sit between 415-430
Auto or stick ?
420-460 depends on what your transmission
Manual
440 to 460
Perfect!
Your the man !
Alex, when referencing "free flowing exhaust" are you thinking long tube headers or just a cat back system?
Cat deletes
Glad i went stage 3 na cams chasing low 10’s
Would FFE mean catless?
