I predict $159,000 base msrp and with decent options it will push $200,000 with no mark up - putting it around $50,000 more than most z06 builds. But the problem is you are getting the suspension and interior of a $59,000 c8 - so personally I don’t see the point - you can buy a z06 and get the wider body and then have one of the tuners add turbo chargers or supercharger and update suspension and get a ton of hp - HP that no one needs - I have a z06 on order for $150,000 and that is kind of silly too.
I had a 19 ZR1 and loved it. Really looking forward to this Car. But honestly my 23 Z06 is just so good and sounds so good if the ZR1 doesn’t sound close to the Z06 I may change my mind. It will cost me 200k to add 400 HP after the hit I take on the Z and the more expensive ZR1 difference.
Hi Austin, so the Corvette team prides itself on making sure that Corvette always delivers the best bang for the buck regardless of the generation or the model trim of Corvette; so in keeping with this philosophy, I believe Chevrolet will set the new ZR1 base model (1LZ) Coupe at $149k and the 3LZ Coupe at $174k. And a fully loaded 3LZ Coupe will be in the $210k to $230k range (fully loaded 3LZ Z06's are in the $170k to $190k range) , I am confident this will be the target pricing here. 🙂
Congratulations to Corvette for letting the engineers have a say. "American know-how" was a common saying when I was a kid. It was understood that America could do things well. Sadly, we had lost our way. This ZR-1 shows we can beat the world at a certain price point.
My guess is starting price to be 150K-160K (that would be close to the price difference between Z06 and ZR1 in 2019, added to the current Z06 price), but will not surprise me at all if it's 170K-180K. I highly doubt it will be higher than 180K starting. We'll see.
The C8 ZR1 will start in the $190-200k range, and a fully loaded convertible will be at least $220k based on the power output, performance, and new tech. This car is still punching way above its price range making it a bargain compared to Ferraris, Lambos, and McLarens.
MY THOUGHTS exactly about the price. my c8 z06 wasn't but 130 plus. because i couldn't get the aero and the stripe didn't go all the way down so I opted for the sea wolf gray with a few upgrades, so I could buy the after market aero. you are correct on the price on the ZR1 I think it will be around that 180 mark or more.
Yeah, realistically, I think the starting price will be $179,999. It would be nice if it was $149,999 but honestly, Chevy has really outdone themselves with this new 2025 ZR1. It really deservedly demands a higher price. Fully spec'd will be $250,000.
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
That’s a horrible take! You are trying to equate the build quality and components of a Ferrari to a Chevrolet. Lastly, I think dealership markups should be illegal.
They know the Direct American competitor is Ford Mustang GTD and we know it's around $300k so there's no way they will sell a more powerful equal performing car for less! Like always they will price it near the same as Fords top dog like they have with the GT500s and Z06, ZR1s,
The first few will go for whatever ADM dealers ask for. Consumers are tired of ADM. It's a chevrolet that isn't going to be limited to one year run. Capital is expensive, and we are over due for a recession. With that said, stock/crypto market ATH. People will have money for the first year, but after that, we will be buying them below msrp, like the 2019 run at the end of the year
This car will be 300k. If ut was less, itd have been announced by now. Theyre scared cuz the market is crashing and no one wants to pay 300k for a corvette w 1000hp when u could literally build something more fun for like 60k.
Thinking 200k. Car performs like an exotic. If dealerships already saying 100k plus ADM, it makes more sense for Chevy to bite into that profit and possibly lower ADM.
I just want to see this car wrap around The Ring faster than any production car has ever done it, esp a silly mustang compensator. Quit cutting off your pipes people-X pipes are loud, annoying, and the ZR-1 is faster and sounds better.
I waited 3 yrs for my 2025 3LZ Z06 in order to avoid ADM. Paid 185K and 15K in mods. ZR1 will be 149K base and 250K fully loaded ZTK (If your able to get an allocation without an ADM)
This guy paid $190k for his ZO6 lmao … 1 year later they’re going for below MSRP in $140’s or less.. wait until the ZR1 hits the streets Z06’s will be 120 or less
Speed Phenom Great Video I definitely agree that the All New C8 ZR1s be more expensive than C8 Z06s and I think they'll start at around 160k and top out at around 210k
I’m so lost with all this dumb excuses about this Chevy. “ it’s cheap” yo what’s cheap about 200k and why would you buy this hugely devaluation of a vehicle over the competition. When you become successful you wish for a 911, a Ferrari, something that says yeah I made it, but not this crap. It’s still a vette. This cars are not limited, their residual are horrendous and yet you have people planning to pay above market, lol crazy. No one learned from the zo6 ? A lot of hype and now they are sitting on the lots at 10-15k discounts lol. Come on guys, it’s a Chevy, no matter what power it’s got, it will be 70k in 3 years. Don’t play the dumb dealers game, wait for them to drop. Just wait it out and let them sit on it, if you get it for 120k then you got a good deal lol
I’ve feel like this is the 10th time iv’e heard this same speech on this channel

C8 ZR1 will be over $200K
Plus $50k-$100k gouge from the dealer!!!
Itll be over 300 @@stevelarsen4526
my guess is 160k base, 230k with all options, and 300k with dealer mark ups
This news makes me feel good about my purchase of my 2018 ZR1
The car will be just like the Z06. In 2 years you’ll get it at MSRP or below. Just be patient

I suspect around $200k base MSRP
I’ll wait a year a get one for MSRP…
I think the real price is the friends we made along the way
🌈
My guess is a starting price of $174,999 for the base ZR1.
I was only off by $4 Austin. 😎😎😎
Thanks for the info!

Your channel is always very informative! All the best for the New Year!!🎉😊
Everytime i see that speed yellow... you gotta get that one!
I think the ZR1 C8 will start at $149,900 and go to 240 to 250 fully optioned .
The base 1LZ ZR1 is $140k base the 3LZ will be $170k and the market up will $50-100k so good luck
I'm saving to buy a ZR1 as my daily driver. It'll get me to work slightly faster LOL
I still say it be around $150-160k for base and $205-225k for Maxed out version.
Ain’t happening kid , starting will be 190K before any options
@@readyon3506 Nah. Still think that it be around $160k for base. Will wait and see.
Maintenance will be a nightmare, especially on the transmission
They are pricing themselves out of the market.
Old z06 and zr1 were both supercharged. Now the z06 is n/a vs twin turbo… massive difference
What type of fuel is required so that the new ZR1 can make 1064 horsepower?
Pump gas... THAT fact has been stated and reiterated continuously since the launch.
Diesel

Close to $180k starting and baloons to 200k with options.

$150 to $160K makes sense to me. Shouldn’t be the crazy over sticker thing.
Your approach, method, and conclusion make sense to me.

Problem is what do you take off the price for losing the natural aspiration?
With dealer markup, it will be way over 300 K.

With the package at least 250000 and more depends on how you really option it out and dealers will still tack on 50000 see what the market will bare
I have a feeling a few Ferrari owners will cross-over and have all the performance without the $15k- $18K Annual Fee to keep their Ferrari certified.

175k the lower spec one

The price of a new C8 ZR1 would be between 185K-220K depending on the package.

ZRI base MSRP $185k most will be $200k.

The value of the will drop so fast and you will lose so much money. It's not worth buying it until about two years later
