Class is in session! Awesome stuff alex, appreciate these videos. Even though I don’t own a mustang, I know people who do have gen2 manuals. Passing it along. 👍
Dude. I'm so excited to start cracking into the T56 transmission. I've primarily been working on Miata ones (NC's are so much more fun than the NA/NB's) and Boxters (until we couldn't order the gears anymore), but a coworker is doing an LS swap in one of his vehicles, and wants me to go through the T56 he's gonna be running. Studied the manual for a while, and it doesn't even look that bad.
Fantastic knowledge. I'd love to hear more about power limits on these gen2 coyotes on the stock pump with a bap. I assume it's mentioned in many of your older videos so I'll do some digging 😂
Hey Alex I have a 2016 Gen 2 boosted manual Roush 2.3 with ARH long tubes, one piece driveshaft, suspension, 2 step, and drag pack on a bias ply. I have 60ft 1.67 on the street at 4500 rpm. What rpm would you recommend going to to get that 60ft lower?
Hi Alex, love your channel. I’m from down under with a 3L Whippled 10R80 GT with 1000 cc inj, 900 hp fuel module, 3.75 pulley 6 rib belt. Done OPG and CS, long tube headers plus full 3 inch cat back. FI interchiller, Reische thermostat, trans and oil coolers, DSS carbon driveshaft and axles, wavectrac diff (best supporting mod on car!), coil overs (more track orientated H&R) plus bmr rear lockout, vertical lengths, LCA spherical bearings, steeda alignment kit, bmr toe rods. It’s only tuned to 660 rwhp and I roll race it 30-130mph at legal track meets. I have not done the 1/4 in it but I’m hoping at 660rwhp its still good enough to get solid 10s. Finally for my question, do you think just a bigger fuel system and e85 tune would get me into the 9s ?
Can we get either a whiteboard or just a talking video about suspension tuning like separation etc and other drag racing suspension terms and what they mean?
I need some Gt350 guidance for highway/street roll racing. Would like to make 800 - 850whp. What are your thoughts on the following. Zero mile, new, gt350 long block from Ford. Already installed. - Helion sleeper kit. Upgraded turbos and Helion headers. - Fuel system, I want to run E85. Boost-a-pump or spend the $$$ on a return system? - Inj ID 1300? -Would I need oil pump & cam sprockets?
1300 injectors will be plenty you can get away with 1050 as well or even just fic 1000cc, you definitely want a return style fuel system yes maybe the boost a pump will work for it but as soon as it Dosent your gonna lose your motor, as far as opg on 5.0 you need to upgrade I don’t remember if the gt350 use the same or no
Thanks Alex! Seems like I should be in the 10's with ease. What don't you like about Procharger? I'm still in the air with my P1x but I do like my centris...
@@AB-coyote I get that, I have the HO version (same location as Paxton/Vortech). If the snout issues is his reason I get it, just wasn’t sure if it was towards something else.
I’m considering a 15-17 GT. My concern is those with pp likely got ragged on pretty hard. I’ve found some good examples with non pp. I really only care about the 3.73 final drive. Is that something I can add fairly easily ?
I never had a crank support on my procharger kit and was running about 14lbs of boost. That being said I knew It was a matter of time but 10lbs I wouldn’t be too worried
The video we’ve all been waiting for!!! Gen 2
Yessir!✊
Went 10.80 with a 1.60 even 60' in my manual 2015 on 20 inch wheels with a Roush 2.3 on 93 slipping the RST clutch.
thats whats up
My 2015 Roush rs3 11lbs of boost 373 gear I launch in 2nd gear. All factory bushing have been upgraded in cradle. RXT clutch. 2k hp axles.

@Alejandro Flores
What are your thoughts on nitrous as the power adder? How easy is it to go 9s and 10s on nitrous on the S550 Gen2 MT82 setup?
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for thank you brother 🙏🏾
Stoked for gen 3 manual
Great video , looking forward to 6r80 and 10r80 gen 3 application videos!!, keep up the good work Alex .
Do appreciate these videos, been saving for a coyote. Downloading these videos so i won’t be that guy in chat asking same question 1000 times lol.
That 🔥 content! I feel like I'm in a class during these videos, except I actually enjoy what is being taught lol
Now this is awesome

Appreciate it Alex, your knowledge on the mustang game has taught me more than I was capable of 🤝
Finally got to my combo, love the info and knowledge, thank you very much Alex

Yessir stick, irs car needs a bias ply rear slick at the track.
Great video, as always. I love this kind of content.
Noise Vibration *Harmonics. Great video.
If you Google what nvh means it says harshness.
Solid advice Alex!! Thank you!
Always run a bias tire with manual transmission for racing.
Grenaded my trans so ima T56 swap it and go ESS for power
Thank you Sir for the excellent content. Would like to get your opinion on a set up for road racing.
Awsome video

Hey Alex, do you recommend a gen 3 ESS kit for a solely street gen 2 manual , 2015 , 35k miles with pump gas ?
@@MasterCapital5 yes sir 120mm pulley.

I have the 2.3 blower FP axles, driveshaft, headers, 2 step but left the damn oil pump gears off 😂🤦🏾♂️

They are more prone to snapping the crank snout. It’s a good idea to get a crank support if you run a Procharger.

What's the difference between two step and launch control
Just got a t56 2.97 first gear does that make a big difference from the 2.66 trying to hit low 9s.
When do we need to look at head studs on a stock motor?
Did you ever get the answer?
@@s550gb no responses unfortunately, I'm gonna run 13 psi though a ported gt500 blower and call it a day. Waiting on my tune revision as we speak 👍
I just talked to Alex last night he said if your living over 15 lbs then you should start looking for head studs anything under 15lbs your good
@@s550gb Awesome! Thank you for the info, maybe I'll pulley down a little 🤔

Yes
What about gt500 07-12 / 13-14
100% my car
But I’m not even close to 9s
Do you find the crank support necessary on a centrifugal that never sees more than 10 psi?

I want to do a ESS G3 on my gen 2 MT-82 and it feels so slow stock if I did this would I be able to keep up with a stock 10r80?
At 10 psi... you'd kill most 10r na cars
What is your choice for Clutch for gen. 2 with 650hp ? It’s also a daily
Mantic dual or a vengeance clutch
Not much else

@@gadec4lyfe yea that was sent prematurely, however for some reason he dislikes PC?
@@DrewPWeboshe dislikes because they run the risk of snapping the crank snout. It’s a good idea to run a crank support with a Procharger.
