Warning: Spiritual work is inherently risky and dangerous if misapplied or misunderstood. Actualized.org teachings are not suitable for people with serious mental disorders such as: suicidal depression, schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar, drug addiction, or other psychiatric or medical conditions. Leo's teachings assume you have a stable mind and life. If your mind is dysfunctional or ungrounded, these teachings may lead to a deterioration of your condition and even suicide if misapplied. Self-help and spirituality are not substitutes for professional treatment for such conditions. If spiritual work is causing your life to unravel in unhealthy ways, discontinue the work until your mind has stabilized and you are safe. Actualized.org teachings are very advanced and can easily be misunderstood and misapplied. Nothing Leo teaches ever promotes physical self-harm. Any time Leo talks about “facing one’s death” he is NOT talking about suicide or physically harming your body, but rather ego-death and spiritual awakening. Never confuse these two things.
Warning: Psychedelics are inherently risky and dangerous. Only use psychedelics if you are willing to take 100% responsibility for the consequences. Do not take psychedelics if you are too young, too immature, on mind-altering medication, or if you have a mental disorder. By listening to Leo you agree that Actualized.org is not responsible if you misuse psychedelics and injure yourself or others. If you decide to use psychedelics you must exercise extreme caution and carefully follow safety protocols. Leo’s use of psychedelics is always done with extreme caution and attention to safety. Treat psychedelics like a loaded gun. Never use psychedelics chronically. Never take psychedelics in high doses. Psychedelics will not effortlessly solve your deep psychological problems. The less grounded your mind is, the more selfish you are, the harsher psychedelics will be on you. Psychedelics can create deep existential crises. Do not take psychedelics unless you love the idea of deconstructing your mind and reality.

I definitely found this to be the case in my life . Most people want to manifest things "instantly" into their life . Not saying that this kind of manifestation cannot happen , but the truth is that for all the amazing things I've ever manifested in my life , it wasn't about "getting it as fast as possible" , it was about slow and steady daily habits . Whether that was daily meditation , or staying consistent with my diet over a long period of time, or posting daily videos on TH-cam , all the things that I've manifested took DAILY and CONSISTENT action . It's not about "working hard" necessarily, although sometimes it can be "hard" (depending on how much you're in resistance) , but just a CONSISTENT energy over time. This is what I've found to be the most powerful thing to change my self at an IDENTITY level . Great video Leo ! Much Love 🙏

The lack of patience and discipline is exactly what the Get-Rich-Quick Gurus and MLMs prey on. "Just buy my course / follow my super simple step by step system and you can be successful". As an artist, I know what it's like to be frustrated and impatient. Sitting by a desk for hours honing my skills, feeling my back ache and my butt get numb, lol. And still I feel like I'm not good enough. Because I've wasted so many years not actively drawing daily, because I believed that I would eventually figure out my life purpose...somehow. Then I realized that it was always Art. Hence the impatience and frustration. But all one can do is to commit, and make every day count from that moment on. Because you can't change the past no matter how much you stress about it.

    • @themidnightmulch4815

@@ActualizedOrg I'm closer to candidate master level and I have a different perspective. I think that chess is as broad and significant as anything else. But not for chasing outward prestige like being a called master or grandmaster. Chess is a canvas to practice your creative and critical thinking. Each position is unique and beautiful. It's likely that each game you play has never been played before. Chess is a great tool to build discipline, confidence, and to practice staying calm and focused when things look hopeless and overwhelming. So many of these skills translate to the outside world. Chess means a lot to me not just as a small business owner but also as a spiritualist.
I've spent thousands of hours playing. I made it to the 99th percentile of players a few days ago. It was a goal that took years. Maybe an hour after that game ended, I did laundry and washed dishes. Life goes back to normal. But I will play again tomorrow.

I tried to go to college with no qualifications, having to start at a level way below what i could have taught and the whole thing was draining, every little thing would go against me just trying to attend, felt like i was being trolled by unseen forces but it wasnt the path for me. I was working towards something for a long time before i even realised it, its a software project based around my passion, and you will appreciate the time it can take to learn and build something good in this area. I thought i messed up my life by throwing away school despite excellent academic potential but at the time I didnt have any vision for what i wanted to do. I didnt find it until 10 years later in my mid 20s and while im a loser in the eyes of society right now, i have come so far in my project and i believe within the next few years in my mid 30s that it will finally payoff. The hard part is there is no tangible return until its done, i dont think everyone is built for that.

I have worked out and played guitar for 4-5 years now and all i can say is that everything you are saying here is 100% true for those practices as well. Although i would like to add one more thing to all of this… it is very hard to stay consistent with anything in life if you do not have a vision for it or can’t see how it would impact your life for the better. Even if you already know where you want to be and what you want to achieve, it won’t be enough because what i found is that the most willpower, drive and DISCIPLINE you need to have is at the times where you are experiencing stagnation and the feelings of NO PROGRESS. See it is easy to stay motivated when you are getting the results, but how about continuing something when you don’t see results so quickly or they are very miniscule? The true warriors are those who can push themselves when it hurts the most…

I will study and learn *how to* learn. I will learn tips on note taking and study habits... Then i will do the work, every day, every year, because people like me don't get a solid education as often. It means more to me than anything else.

My journey didn't really start before I was 32 years old, so quite late depends on how you look at age. Looking back, it's interesting to notice how it very slowly snowballs into a better existence over time. Very logical if you think about it, how can there be any other way?

My kundalini awakened 4 years ago at the age of 45. Among other experiences, in my minds eye a snake twisted up my spine. Since then my life has changed in so many profound ways. Shakti illuminated everything that needed healing and I’m still healing. I hear Jesus talk to me and reach Godhead spontaneously at times. I can sit for hours in states of bliss and profound peace. So for you older folk that are reading this comment I hope it inspires you. I didn’t spend years meditating. I had a full life meeting my now lifetime friends, slaving in character building jobs, partying, making mistakes and raising my beautiful son. So Leo, I don’t agree with you when you say people are wasting time. Everyone will reach enlightenment eventually, there’s no wrong or right way, it just may take lifetimes, which is ok.
I fell asleep during this Leo and had a dream about you. We were hanging out at your place smoking weed watching your huge tv and you didn’t seem happy. You were a lot smaller than I imagined you to be. 🤷‍♀️

Success doesn't happen overnight in most cases and when it does, there is evidence of things coming crashing down rather abruptly as the foundations haven't been laid properly. Patience is a virtue and Rome wasn't built in a day.

This! 🙏 Exactly why I don't believe in 'fast results' or people who have built their lives on ego/this picture they wanna have just for the outside world. I believe you can have fast results that might look 'good' on the outside but exactly like you said, there's no solid foundation so it's not gonna last... I think it's more about working towards goals in little steps, reflect, taking steps back/breaks, move forward again and so on.

Now I am watching this new video and I see what Leo probably meant back then by saying that you should stick to the habit. This new video gives a much clearer explanation. Loving it. Very motivating to start and keep long-term and life-long practices going.

this is the same 'insight' ive received earlier today. its the thought of feeling behind in life in contrast to an external world which appears to be always moving and busy.
my internal world is a little perturbed at that notion.
and when i let that idea streams more same thoughts, i observe my sense of self which is founded on wholeness and contentment, get a little effaced and then i become convinced yes i need to do more and be more.
lack is then perceived, speaking of mind on a wheel

I'm only at the beginning of the video, but he's saying you have to strive to achieve everyday? I personally find that I'm more satisfied and at ease when I give myself one day a week of not striving and simply basking in what I already have and where I'm already at in life. Things inherently lose value through constant repetition, hedonic adaptation is a bitch but also maybe a teacher because it reminds us that there's more to experience in life than what's constantly on our mind. Love the videos, always challenging my thought patterns

There seem to be so many teachings out there that primarily focus on making peace with what you have or where you're at, yet this alone will not bring the most satisfaction in life to a being that can go infinitely meta/expand/integrate... and vice versa depending on how one is oriented. I don't know for sure but maybe you're just attracting people with similar biases that aren't found with most other teachers (like emphasis on integrating life purpose and spirituality) :)
