Leo, I love your content generally speaking. I haven't always agreed with you, but never felt a need to comment as I took it on as a point of self reflection for myself - I could just be looking at things wrong. However, after hearing your talk about CNN and negative skepticism, I have to point out a few things I think are flaws in your thinking.
I was just having a conversation with my gf about how some people get so fixated on a thing, a result, an attachment, that they leave blind spots in their awareness and consciousness that others can sit in and manipulate said person. I.e, you wish to be a good person so your religious and religious leaders, whom you fixate on for feedback, can easily manipulate you. That is If you don't have a certain degree of consciousness and awareness. Mainstream media, including fox news and CNN, provide the lens of fixation for broader society. They get to report what they want, and not report what they don't want to report. Some stories they chase after, some they don't . There is always a narrative being pushed regardless if they intend to or not. Which means they create the blindspots that society can be manipulated through. And people do manipulate. Both left and right are guilty of that. So how can we really trust an entity, mainstream media platform or otherwise? Are there not infinite perspectives to take on any one thing or event? Aren't all entity's, individual or otherwise, simply trying to survive? And that is where their biases and corruption take root and grow?
Secondly, you go on to talk about how CNN is the only mainstream media platform that has some journalist integrity. You cite that there actual journalists that got a degree in journalism, ect, but aren't these journalists simply products of the social matrix they've been churned through. Meaning that a lot of the biases you mentioned that certain scientists have, also apply to journalists, the context change being the only noteworthy difference. As above, so below. Same actors, different context.
I'm not saying distrust all, or that these mainstream outlets spread nothing but meaningless propaganda and narrative that should be ignored, but rather to take everything given from anyone, be it Leo, a mainstream media platform, scientist, professor, pastor, preacher, bishop, or teacher, ect, with a MASSIVE grain of salt, and leave it to my personal experience to sift through the half truths and biases deeply interlaced with all information and fact given.
I feel like that spiel you had on CNN, and negative skepticism in general was a slippy way of saying we should listen to some degree to authority. Which is great advice for surviving in society, but not great advice for freeing ones mind. That whole talk and perspectives you stated just seemed very antithetical to the content of many of your videos.
Anywho, great episode so far, looking forward to finishing it now. Very open to feedback from anyone.

Good comment. Personally I thought Leo was playing a mind game with his CNN comments etc. Provoking the listener to disagree and experience his mind playing ego working, or smothering others who agree and than confronting them with there one sided bias. But unfortunately… it turned out not to be a mind game but really his opinion. Very disappointed of this shallow opinion. Shame on you Leo, especially when you compare it with some of your great work.

    Just wanted to reach out to anyone who might have listened to this and felt either overwhelmed, more confused than before, or who found this depressive;
I think Leo makes many good points but fails to get to the real meat, the deeper part of it all. Alot of what he says is true but expressed in a very shallow (for lack of a better word) way.
That being said I think Leos work and videos are important and can be used by many as a stepping stone.
Ill try and list it as quickly and simply as I can here:
Life is in fact like a game, your body is real, but you are not your body, when you die your soul or essence, or consciousness whatever you wish to call it lives on.
You are also NOT your thoughts in your mind. Your mind is like a tool you can use it, wield it, but it no more YOU than your body.
Which is why life is like a big game we are playing with our bodies, its very real, but in the big picture its not THAT serious, since when the body dies your essence does not.
I disagree with the concept of killing yourself if you don't want to play. You are here to experience all "the game" (life) has to offer. So that your soul/consciousness/essence can learn and grow.
I also disagree with some of his descriptions of mastering the game. YOU don't and shouldn't HAVE to do anything. Every experience is valid and necessary to learn and grow. This doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to "master the game" if you want to be pragmatic go for it, if you want to close yourself off and go within, Go for it. The important thing is to do what you feel is necessary.
If you feel called to listen to Leo, Go for it. Just don't feel like you HAVE to do anything in order to "win" at life.
A major point I would like to share is focus on the here and now. Don't constantly look into the future and say I will be happy/complete when I get to that point. You can have a plan but as you follow your plan focus on the step your on now, don't let the here and now be a means to an end.
As the quote goes: Its the journey not the destination.
If anyone want to reach out feel free to message me, I'm not an expert by all means but I found this was lacking some important points.
I would be happy to try and help you feel more grounded and at ease.
    Much love to you all!

@LEGENDS AND ICONS I agree to a degree. I think Leo does a good job keeping the balance overall. The reason I still listen to him is the he has acknowledged some of his shortcomings. And he is still relevant.
I do find it a bit hard to understand how he can keep such a generally positive view on the media.
Is he deluded or am I?
It is my opinion that in countries where journalists are censored, murdered and opposed by the state. They are the real deal.
And in countries where the state sponsors the media, journalists and politicians cover for each other and socialize privately. They are the disingenuous kind.
It is not black and white, they can truthfully cover topics that aligns with their agenda. While "forgetting" or lying about the topics that do not.
Take for example my country. The state funded media is the self appointed unbiased arbiters of truth, most even agree.
In the same breath, the state media of Russia, Poland, Hungary and others are claimed to be lying propaganda organs.
How stupid do they think we are.

He has never been an actual victim of CNN shenanigans. It is clear that from the Las Vegas ivory tower perspective, CNN and elites don't look so bad. Actually, if you find yourself to be a victim of these forces, you probably lack the skills to gracefully play this mind game called life.
That being said, I would suggest one simple meditation exercise to Leo: Take some LSD or even better magic mushrooms (it doesn't have to be a heroic dose). Wait for the drug to kick in and then take any picture or video of Jeff Bezos and gaze deep into his eyes for a while. If you find the experience horrifying, you can always switch Elon Musk to tone it down a bit.

There is a philosopher that says this game is actually the tutorial, and when you get enlightened you get to create and play other games, and that this is the purpose of life, like a training story that needs to be belived, so theres fear and desire: you run towards something or scape from something, either way you run and develope the spirit ( and its atributes: will, thought, and perception ) there is a point you realize that the universe is a psychological phenomenon, so you start to meditate from a notion, an undesrtanding, not ideas. And gradually gain peace, joy, lightness, fullness, lucidity, power over mind( everything ), undertanding and inmense pleasure from love, and ultimatelly the only thing to do is play and enjoy.

Literally every word and sentence he utters is premeditated, precise manipulation, using same NLP techniques of media and advertising, notice how he literally says things in exactlty the same way like a scripted robot over and over (repetition programming), the same precise rhythm and timing ratios, manipulative hypnosis voice intonations, mimicking the way teenagers/young adults speak (i.e. using "fuck" a lot and speaking like a teenage bitch) in order to especially manipulate these target audiences (NLP mirroring), imitating the way certain politicians, media influencers and cult leaders speak you can literally see it if you know what you're looking for. just watch his interviews with Peter Ralston, study how that guy speaks and then compare it to Leo and you'll literally see how he mimics and directly steals the speaking styles and personalities of other people, shocking and creepy. By by doing this, he finds the path of dominance, and his ego is liberated from the shackles of being submissive. Submissive males are the ones who seek power in mental gymnastics and manipulation. He seems to have some kind of hatred or pre conceived notions/stereotypes of the type of people who watch his videos, and I've never fit into any of them. I sometimes actually feel myself bored and insulted by what he says, because I predicted what we would say hours in advance, its like he never holds himself to a standard, but screeches shit to belittle others.

@@jgats He probably wants the 3 things those high in psychopathy pursue: sex, money and power (social prestige/notoriety). Anything else he tries to portray is simply psychopathic, strategic word-salad mental masturbation to con the gullible. As an entertainer, life coach, con-artist or whatever the fuck he is lol, I think his talent is speaking in a way which portrays things which everyone literally already knows; as much deeper and profound then we tend to see them, for the simple fact most humans are busy and therefore can't develop their contemplation skills or insight the same way a prisoner, or a wealthy eccentric person, or monks and nuns, or the introverted mentally ill loner is able to. There are millions of people out there much deeper/insightful than he is. Again, his skill is creating the illusion of depth and profundity by using his particular, neuro-linguistic programming manipulation cult leader way of speaking: strategic pauses, intonations, tangential remarks to throw you off and implant subconscious suggestions, specific word choice, strategic facial expressions, reverse psychology tactics for example when he addresses certain criticisms he claims people have against him, he casts the illusion that he's sincere or with innocent intentions or that he actually gives a fuck, when actually you're just being toyed with even more by falling for his psychopathic bait. He's slippery as a fish, no wonder he's able to mindfuck (and bodily fuck) his organization into existence, no different than any other cult leader, politician etc.
And you mentioned how you were touched by some of his videos, me too! And you know why that is? Because we simply haven't been previously exposed to this type of knowledge/philosophy. There are 100,000's of books out there on these types of topics, Leo Guru read like 10 or 20 of these, learned the impressive terminology and ideas, learned how to speak like a cult leader, and voila. Nothing more to it, really. If an actually educated person like a PhD professor watches his videos, they'd clearly see all the intellectual and logical holes and contradictions. No thesis, just word salad mental masturbation entertainment, manipulated into some vague web of undefined notions and ideas, not for Leo, but for the incel Duracell subscribers. Again, his game is the WAY he says what he says, but not what he actually says.

I am beginning to believe that I've been preprogrammed to god realise. Ive been isolated, drunk and partying on a tiny island, for 20 years just living in the moment continuously. And then the pandemic totally removed my transient existence and I had to work out what was going on. My mind had an epiphany at something you previously said, id not understood the word prior to that incident. Ive been unable to pinpoint my experiences to any religion or belief but encompass all. I'm realising omnipotence. I smoke a little bit of bulk buy weed, cheap mass grown, not strong, no other drugs. This is occurring to me is the best way to describe. The being completely alone and getting okay with it was a big part of my recent physical experience. I've been stripped of all material wealth and all close family and friends have been temporarily blocked out due to minor differences. I've been forced to realise nothing matters except the moment. I'm fucked really but what I'm really doing is painting whimsical flowers on secondhand furniture and turning my failed restaurant into a shop. I'm hand sanding because the exercise and feeling of that is superior to that of fucking yourself up holding a vibrating machine to get the thing done quicker but which is the thing you say you enjoy doing. If it sells it sells, buying isn't my job so i needn't concern. Fuck CNN, you need to listed to my mate Russell Brand. And I feel a little sad engaging in a conflict of opinion with you as I realise I'm just a lonely god trying to jazz things up. Hoping I'm coming back down and not always constantly aware of it like if you take drugs. Eeeeek. You are an arrogant little fucker and I can see where it comes from but you are right. The best way I've found to describe what you're saying here is the nature of sound. I will explain briefly here for anyone who is interested.
First I propose that sound is an "illusion" so, we "know" that space has no medium for sound to travel, I usually describe it like this:
When I move something back and forth (on earth) it pushes and pulls molecules of air and creates pressurised and un-pressurised regions of air that propagate away from the point of oscillation.
These regions - when they hit your ear drum cause it to move back and forth.
Inside your ear there is a sack of fluid, I forget what it is called, but the fluid starts to react to the pressure transferred from the vibration of your ear drum.
Inside that sack, there is tiny hairs at the bottom of it that react to the movement of that fluid, kind of like sea grass moving with currents of the ocean.
When the hairs touch the skin as they move back and forth, they complete an electrical circuit.
When the circuit is connected it sends an electrical current to neurons in the brain and "lights up" a certain pattern in the brain depending on the frequency of connections.
So really, what you "hear" is just an interpretation that your brain makes that is purely electrical. If that makes sense.
I just woke up not long ago so if that didn't make much sense I apologise.

Wow I really don't agree that other people, animals and pets are "imaginary". I get what you're saying is they are actors in your life but they are also simultaneously existing points of consciousness. They are essentially you, driving another physical body and ego. So when they die, it doesn't matter in the fact that when we die as well, our energies will recombine and we will be reunited even if for just a "moment" between conscious lifetimes. They aren't just mirages or figments of a hallucination. They have consciousness as well. They are iterations of our own consciousness outside of our ego(point of view)

In this static universe where everything exists simultaneiously in the present moment, consciously picking one thread and living that threat when you could have picked any other...that is indeed the definition of a mind game. People immerse themselves in the illusion of reality. They do it so much that they begin to identify with being a victim of their suffering, not realizing that it's literally all in how they interpret things. E.g., two different people both trip while walking into a room full of strangers: one feels embarrassed, the other laughs it off. It's all in how you interpret things. It's nothing more than the story you tell yourself about it.
Many people get angry and reject the fact that what we perceive to be reality is all an illusion because of the shame they'd feel as a result of admitting that all their problems and suffering only exist in their head. But that shame--the idea of being ashamed about something natural and understandable--that's also an illusion. It's ALL an illusion ;)

A lot of spiritual people on TH-cam approach this from an esotheric perspective while you do it from a philosophical rational one. And that's exactly the path I took when I first got into this. And I assume it's the same for many people here

I’m especially skeptical when Leo says that of course CNN has its bias but they tell the truth and their journalists are trained to tell the truth. I’m going to do 3 things. 1. Look through my own bias (shadow). Look at societies bias (shadow) and most of all look at wether I’m going to see Leo Guara as the final authority. ( which is what this channel is really all about (Leo’s Ego, except when on tryptamines 🌝)

The last half hour was gold. I lately was leaning more towards meta stuff thinking this is it, I'm going to be enlightened and all's swell. I was/ am kidding myself. I'm very much half baked, very attached to material stuff, haven't mastered anything and haven't attained/acquired much. It's great to consume the meta stuff with sincerity and keep it in the back of your mind, but be somebody before trying to be nobody . Thanks Leo 🙏

Leo, you can't imagine how much you help me with this. For the last six years I've lost six people my grandma, my uncle, my 2 aunts and both of my parents. Yesterday I've lost a cat - 7 months old that I raised from baby. Thank you for the words: Your cat is imaginary, your parents are imaginary. I was searching for a way to deal with that. In fact I crossed upon your channel when I was searching for "How to deal with strong negative emotions". It was 2018 and from that moment I stick with you and I have watched most of your videos. You are extrimely wise and help a lot! I am grateful that I crossed upon your wisdom and support! 😀

@Scorp 83 I heard what he said. I see the point he is trying to make. But because of his own ideology he is still more trusting of CNN and then calls right wing people racists. So I think it's a little difficult to be honest with yourself when you already have a bias towards judging people falsely.

Scorp 83 There is really no way for the average person to determine whether or not CNN is true. By his logic what is true ? Humans are not capable of applying what he is saying about mind games because by completely applying the mind game theory you would be either dead or in an insane asylum.

This Is a thought with which i have been playing this whole week: what if this Is a game I can play a LOT of times (infinite times?) After I die, I get born again, same country same year same parents same genes. I am eternal not only as awareness but as THIS GUY also. I start at the same point but every game Is different since i make different choices and end up in totally different Places. Till after a lot of times playing it I start mastering it and reach to the master life (best possible scenario - the one with most love expressed) and then I become my Higher Self. Who was guiding me all these times to reach that point.
