I TOTALLY get your reluctance to sell your town. It's your "first baby" you fostered and developed! Primary reason I was never able to participate in Hard Mode - I just couldn't delete my first island. Too many memories
Yeah that first New Horizons island is just something I cannot let go of. But I do feel ready enough to let go of this town if I decide to. I feel like "selling your town" can be looked at as just an extension of the game itself so my former town kind of "lives on" still in a sense.
@@CrossingMinute don't ever sell or restart something, I learned that the hard way with my pokemon games. Now that the time has come for the 3ds support to end, I cannot transfer all of my old pokemon from the Gameboy, Gameboy advance, 3ds, DS to the Nintendo switch pokemon home because simply for the fact that I erased some of my old childhood saves . I deeply regret it but at the same time I still have time to start over. However I lost my old animal crossing wild world cart, and my GameCube town memory card. I regret deleting a lot of my old PS2 game files from childhood too. Honestly I 100% say NEVER delete of sell your old towns or erase your save files etc. they're golden childhood memories you can always look back on years later or even play on for not just nostalgia's sake, but for good memory reminders. If you already erased it that's fine but trust me don't do it for anything else. Always buy a new cartridge to play on or a way to save your files and transfer them safely to your PC. That's what I'm doing for my Gameboy games, DS, 3ds, and switch games. They're all safely backed up on my PC and Google drives forever now lmfao
Oh man, I miss New Leaf... we have so many QoL changes in NH I don't think I could ever go back but NL was my childhood man 😭 Seeing Bam in the intro made me feel like a kid again, he was always one of my favorites! I loved the Bug Off and Fishing Tourney furniture it was so cool.. it makes me sad how bare bones those events are in NH... Also the amount of dedication it must have taken to get all that furniture customized oh my god
Aww, I miss the dinosaur models! I miss the stumps with special designs on them that give mushrooms year round and the different fruit trees too (though I guess if they had more fruits in New Horizons they’d have to make cooking recipes for them). Thanks for the awesome tour!
Your NL's town is better than mine, haha. All the plants in NL are super gorgeous. If I pick up the game again, I'll have to do a hard reset and not worry about how pretty my town looks. Thanks for sharing!
in my first town, i surrounded my house in black roses, and eventually used them to sompletely cover my town in gold roses. I wanted to give my town a specialty, so i put way too much effort into blinging out everything with gold roses lmao
"My Animal Crossing: New Leaf *island* " Also cool thing you didn't mention about the summer solstice: In New Leaf on the Summer Solstice the sky is set to Noon I think all day. So it is still sunny at 11 PM! 15:57 This is given to you on your 1 year town anniversary
When I booted up my game after many years, I was surprised to see that young me had actually made an exhibit! It was called "lemoné" the poster outside was a drawing of a lemon. Intrigued, I went inside.. It was an empty room with a lemon basket in the middle. Congrats child me, you actually gave your future self a chuckle 😂
There are alot of new furniture in new horizons and the furniture in new horizons are alot of more good looking now, but it can’t beat new lead with tons of special furnitures that hasn’t made to new horizons. Also, in new leaf you can get a ton of nintendo furniture items and lots of amazing furniture sets, new horizon is for me only boils down to the HD graphics of it
This is so insane, and beautiful! Woaw!! 😍👏🍃 I’m doing research on what can even be done in this game, since I’m finally getting around to playing it for the first time (I’m so late to the game 😂), aahh it looks so fun!!!
one think i didn't like about Animal crossing is that there can only live like 3 people in the entire town! I wish they allowed you to build the village into a proper town with more than 100 people.
Great town. Sad that we’ll no longer be able to invite people over the Internet soon, but I guess it can still be enjoyed without the Internet, but it'll be lonely without inviting people over. Anyway great video
I recently got back into New Leaf and I just paid off my final home loan today! There's still a lot more to do but I'm so proud of myself for finally finishing paying off home loans 😭
can villagers put their houses where there is path on the ground? im scared because they always choose the worst places to place their houses (like destroying pretty flores and trees)
this video really inspires me to restart my New Horizons island and start it all over again, I feel like I played this game in a bit wrong way (like cheating turnip prices to gain pretty much unlimited bells) and that in a long term killed my passion for the game
Same, unfortunately. I try now again and force me to play it until I get some more things. It's so difficult when your first AC was horizons and then start over the first time with new leaf, at least for me.
How did you get this in 2012 when no one outside Japan had it? It is in English, meaning a 2013 release, and last I saw this was 2023, not 2024, meaning my math says it's 10, not 11. Is 11 using this new stupid common core math where 2023-2013=11 now?
Honestly I may have just been rounding up or down for simplicity's sake. I would have mostly likely googled the release year and just gone off of that. 🤷♂️ Also I'm generally just bad with numbers
Smh nintendo NOT adding that cute fish bed or pufferfish tv to new horizons. What the heck nintendo those are so cute.
We need more animal related furniture
This makes me want to start playing new leaf again. 😊 I remember watching so many town tours on youtube.

Thanks for the awesome tour!
I wanna say loving the new leaf content! I feel like no one plays it on TH-cam anymore so any videos or series always is fun!
I still play NL almost daily! I love my town, I've been mayor for 11 years. ❤
😎

your actually decorated museum exhibits are inspiring me. mine are just filled with gyroids lol.

You know, I never thought about it until I started playing New Horizons, but I don't like how New Leaf's beach doesn't entirely surround the town.

I never made it that far in new leaf😮 makes me wanna go try again
Gosh new leaf was so iconic and amazing one of my best summers fursure when that game came out
Would be cool for you to recreate this town in new horizons
Funny i just started and well the house situation is the exact same for me. LMAO
I still play this game until this day even though Nintendo already shut down online play. 😢
OMG everything is so perfect. I’m still playing this game and I love it ❤
The man unintentionally made a TARDIS. Legendary

I am in the same boat. I'm playing for the first time. ❤️

I did the oceanfront property thing, but I actually put it near the cliff with actual water in it so I actually do have waterfront property lol
Cool house! Also, add dinosaur models to the list of things that totally should have been in New Horizons.
Uh yes!!
The nostalgiaaaa!
Great town. Sad that we’ll no longer be able to invite people over the Internet soon, but I guess it can still be enjoyed without the Internet, but it'll be lonely without inviting people over. Anyway great video
pretendo
@@8Bit_Studio I’ll be hacking my 3DS for this 🤞
I recently got back into New Leaf and I just paid off my final home loan today! There's still a lot more to do but I'm so proud of myself for finally finishing paying off home loans 😭
12:35 not the torture room 😭
I love it! You have so many things that I never knew existed in the game ☺️
Man I miss new leaf so much! I wish I still had my 3DS lol
OMG I forgot the slingshots could unlock 3 stones if it was gold
I miss all my old acnl friends.
I think im going to play acnl tonight. For nostalgia.
the new lead flowers are so much nicer
Wow! Thanks for the tour
Lovely video~
I remember New leaf! 😭🤚

awesome tour!!
I never played new leaf I will get a 3DS and get it too

Sweet town! Do you have a dream code?
I actually don't know if I saved a dream code for this town. It won't matter soon anyway because I believe those servers will be shut down soon. 😕
wow
I tried to play New Leaf, but I just couldn’t get into it.
Also, I read this video title wrong when I first saw it. I thought I read that you were 11 when you played his game! 🤣 But now it makes more sense!
Same, unfortunately. I try now again and force me to play it until I get some more things. It's so difficult when your first AC was horizons and then start over the first time with new leaf, at least for me.
I have never played New Leaf. It looks so different, and I am not sure I could even attempt it now. ACNH has kind of spoiled me. Lol.
