  • This should get you up and running in under 20 minutes.
    Everything shown should apply to the G3Xn as well.
    The video below shows a workaround to using the looper and a pedal

    Just picked one of the G3Xn pedals up used from Guitar Center. The manual that I downloaded from Zoom really was not very good, and a bit confusing. This video made using this pedal much much easier. To anybody that picks one of these petals up used, I highly recommend that the first thing you do is a factory reset. This will reset the petal to the way it would be if you had purchased it brand new. Thanks for this video it really was a huge help.

      You can use up to 7 pedals (including amp/cab) at the same time, but since there are only 3 "screens", you have to scroll to access all of them

    i have a problem ... i have a zoom g3n pedal, a tascam 102i sound card and a computer. The zoom g3n pedal with headphones sounds very nice without a pc, but if I plug the pedal into the tascam 102i sound card and through it into the computer, the sound quality deteriorates. The zoom g3n has 2 outputs due to the stereo that the headphones can operate through one output. However, the tascam 102i has only one input and I guess that's why it sounds bad with a computer. What I couldn’t figure out: There’s where it says that the zoom g3n pedal can be used as a sound card, but I don’t know how that would solve my problem. If not, how can I fix the pedal stereo sound through the tascam?

    • @fixitmyself
      @fixitmyself  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know anything about the sound card thing. I've used mine a lot for song making (recording) and have to run it through an interface such as a Scarlett into my PC.

      I haven't tried that particular setup but when I do make patches - or modify patches - I like to modify all the variables if you know what I mean. Each effect in the has a number of adjustable variables. I would try that and see if it helps.

      Try Tonelib. Their software is quite intuitive. GuitarLab from Zoom - in effect (pardon the pun) you have to rename and delete off the FXs. You never really delete an patch - you just overwrite it. Try Tonelib - quite intuitive.

    Though it is one of the most budget friendly guitar multi effect processor.Dont buy g3xn" guys instead go for g3n".After using g3xn for a year the inbuilt expression pedal has started having problems. Using the "wah " effect and the" pitch shifter" has become a nightmare. Have tried calibrating the pedal and also resetting the unit but still these effects sound like a "slicer effect with fluctuating repetition of the wah" even though the pedal is only pressed once. Have also contacted the support team hope they respond to my mail. I have been using the unit only indoors for personal use and the chances of getting the unit pedal dirty is out of the question. Will be posting a video concerning the problem on my channel..starting to regret choosing "g3xn over "boss me25
