The selling point for me after the sound was that they INCLUDE the power supply!!! Other companies are still too cheap for that!!
Bought this thing and completely fell in love with it. Got it going through a Orange micro terror and cabinet. Balls to the wall!

These Zoom units might not be AxeFX or Helix quality but they are definitely usable for live and in the studio. Great sims and effects.
yup.. the only thing bother me alot is the wah pedal quality

Just my 2 cents, believe it or not, modulation especially in stereo ones (stereo chorus, stereo delay) works amazingly different if you put it before or after cabinet slot. I tried, I have one G3Xn myself.

it`s toys sound . -> mashall 4x12 cab EQ high + up LOW +UP is very good (IR) post eq mid high +1 high +2 ( zoom is low cut and high cut factory set , need a adjust ) preamp and convert sound adjust = top quality

This sounds as good if not better than helix or Boss I have had both for recording and they were crap.
Cuando vas cambiando de banco, el sonido que estaba seleccionado se mantiene o va adoptando el sonido de cada banco mientras navegas con el scroll?
Ejemplo: si seleccioné el preset 03 y después pulso el botón bank up, seguiré sonando con el preset 03 o automáticamente me cambia al 06?

@@mateusraitz1803 ya me leí el manual y eso lo podes configurar a tu gusto. Modo preselección y podes seguir tocando y navegando por todos los bancos sin que el sonido se interrumpa hasta que pulses o selecciones el patch que uno busca

habrá mucha diferencia entre esta y la G5xn...??...m refiero a la calidad de sonido x ejemplo en efectos con distorsión para los solos.....( obvio no a la diferencia entre 7y 9 efectos entre esta y la otra) y lo pregunto por la diferencia de presupuesto de un poco mas de $2000 mxn....entre esta y la G5xn.....saludos

I have a problem with my zoom g3xn, I bought it a few days ago, but it keeps making too much sound, like static, and the sound of the guitar is low but the static is really loud, it’s new, i don’t know what to do, my amp is a marshall, 15 watts. HELP.

do the three buttons mean you can switch between like, three different effect chains or something?
If it's like on G3, I'd bet that lower black switches are for changing presets, and the upper metallic ones are for turning effects on and off
Does this device works well with an amp Fender Mustang 1 V2?
If it works at least decently, how should I configurate my amp to have that decent sound?
A clean amp if you’re in the front with drive, etc. Or if you’re using delays, reverbs, phaser through the fx loop set your amp anyway you like. These are not hard fast rules you can do whatever sounds good to you it’s your gear.

It was better SNR and processors before, and before that.
They cheaped out on us (i got an G5, and G7) - and that was a shame.
They could have ruled.

@@singularity9182 experiment with the high gain models, I usually put tube screamer, then a marshall amp sim, and what ever high gain cab, i can't elaborate enough as tone is personal preference and I don't have this unit sorry

for lead i use a noise gate with a gold drive and a amp and a cabinet
for really heavy riffs i use a noise gate and dist1 and dist plus
without an amp

It is not good processor because overdrive very bad. If got this then you can fix to this issue by buying boss distortion and tubescrimer pedal and use instead existing overdrive. But I have put it on eBay and nobody buy it.

Seems people who learn how to use are happy with this unit but others trash it not realizing its operator failure,,,jmo
Same goes with all Zoom products. I've owned a used PS02 Palmtop Studio since 2002 and took time to learn how to use it. I mainly use it for practice as it has a multi effects unit and drum programming built in, so making quick adjustments is easy when you know your equipment. I have just gotten my G3N and have yet to toy with it. My thought process is if this is slightly easier yet similar to the PS02, it won't take long to program it.

Arya1409 I think Boss has much more low end im the distorted area as of the examples I heard I still think my option would be the zoom because you have more options and to me it sounds clearer. But go by what you like hearing
If you’re gonna buy a boss Gt1 then you should just buy a boss katana amp and get amp and same effects for same price,,,just sayin

I fucken meant that I have to sell mine as fast as I bought it and I am warning people how stupid the rhythm and looper are! I guess you're to stupid to notice that they can only be use in the patch you set them up in only while you are in that patch. Making it useless for using banks and patches and expecting to have lopper/rhythm functions! Maybe you're just connected with zoom "I-don't-know". However I bought a used G5 and it's perfect. (well except that you can't prevue patches when switching banks) ..|.
