For those asking where the RM85 is: Japanese manufactures will make basically a "batch" of bikes at one time. Suzuki most likely made a ton for RM85s in 2012, that were not all sold in 2012. The surplus bikes staid at the factory and at dealerships, until they were sold. Japanese manufactures are known for doing this. You may have bought a yamaha r6 thats engine was build in 2011, put in a 2013 frame and has 2014 graphics, but it is a 2014 model. Suzuki did not build anymore rm85s because there was enough of them out there sitting in dealerships. The dealerships started making more orders, so suzuki fired up the assembly line to make a batch of 2015 bikes. I heard a rumor that the old kawasaki kx85 and the rm85 are the same bike. Not sure if it is true, do not quote me. If you wish the RM85 was still in the video just pretend it is the yamaha in the video, because they are of the same design and era.
Kx85 and rm85 are not EVEN CLOSE the same bike

My biggest question is really how much better are the three new bikes against the old YZ? It's a 2002-2015 model! Do the new bikes really feel like they have 12 years more development in them? Or could I just pick up an $800 YZ and drop it off at ProCircuit with $2000? I get a crazy hot YZ85 and am $2000 ahead.

honda stopped making all there 2 strokes in 2007 and suzuki's tecnically didn't discontinue there bike as you can still buy a 2015 rm85 but they have giving up on there 85 as its the same bike as 2012 with the exceptions of "bold new graphics".

I’m 5,2 and kind of fit on the big wheel but the small wheels more comfortable for me. I’d recommend staying on the small wheel

You're seeing the bike from two different sides.The YZ 85 only has one radiator which is mounted on the left side so there is no need for a shroud on the right side of the bike.

for everyone asking about a RM85...i was told that the reason there has been no RM85's is because of the tsunami that hit Japan. now i don't know if there is any truth in that or not so do your own research. it certainly seems plausible if a plant where they manufacture them was hit by the tsunami.
