I just made the switch from kawis to Suzuki's and I couldn't be happier! I love the handling of the rmz. and the power ain't bad either.

All bikes are good, in my opinion it's just the rider preferences..

+Buzzer 9091 in terms of If I was racing then I'd be inclined to agree with you Although the 450r with the Yoshimura exhaust system is enough power if that's what you care about . But I don't race. Every time I go to the Honda store and see that bike it makes me grin and I get excited just sitting on it. Although In the next five to ten years of work & saving and more experience I'll get a KTM 300 XC-W with all the juicy add-ons but for half the price, I can afford that Honda at the end of the year.

Actually, for the professional riders it does not matter because after getting the bike, the team changes everything on it. It will not be similar to the stock bike anymore.
I've only ever ridden Yamahas. but I've always been a fan of Hondas but this year i might finally pick up a Kawasaki .. why cant i make up my mind

which one of these bikes is the most reliable/durable? Which one is going to take the most abuse (with basic maintenance performed) and give the least amount of problems/ go the longest before needing expense engine rebuilds..?

Honda. We've had our 2016 crf250r for almost 6 months and she's still running strong. The power is crisp and amazing.

I would recommend getting a 125 and getting fast enough on that bike to get ready to move up to a 250.
Do 2 strokes without kx Cr since they don't have 2 strokes now

+3BONE,NiGHTMARE,CRA$H The KTM and Husky. It makes a big difference for a short rider, like me.
I like them in order of their placements in the video: KTM, Suzuki, Kawi, Yamaha, Husky, Honda
Look-wise, I'm digging that RM-that thing is sharppp. The KTM just needs better graphics imo tho-they've always been hit or miss with me. They all look badass this year tho, I don't think you could go wrong with any of these bikes
a lot of people are liking the yamaha.... best bike out of the 6.... but nothing handles like a honda. the 17 honda will be at the top of next years shootout

dumb question, im thinking about getting a new rmz, but i like a bike that doesnt rely on any electricity other than a spark plug, anyway i was wondering if a hydraulic clutch need a battery to operate, if so im getting an older bike with a manual cable driven clutch

If ktm is gonna put electric start it still needs a kicker if that decides to give out on you. Also i think the electric start should be an option

m1ke2001 you could jump start it by rolling the bike and letting the clutch out in gear
that must be hp from the crank, rw hp is like 33 or somthing i would assume.
what's the difference between two stroke & 4 stroke?
A two stroke has power band mid throttle while the four stroke has power all throughout the gear
Two Stroke: has the big pipe
Four Stroke: has the skinnier pipe
Four Stroke: sound travels farther and it kinda sounds like a fart
Two Stroke: Hi pitch kinda sounds like ringing
2 stroke, the power kind of feels like it's all in the top of the Rev range and hits hard. The delivery on a 4 stroke is more linear and easier to modulate. 2 strokes can be a handful to ride but they're a lot of fun once you get use to it.
Technically, the spark plug fires on every revolution of the engine in a 2 stroke, where a four stoke it fires every second revolution.
+andrewford80 The spark is on 2 strokes of the piston, and on the 4 stroke.. well its 4 strokes. Or revolutions of the crank shaft.

Remember kids we went to the moon in the 60s in the analog age so yes bikes have changed and are built way better but dirt bikes have always been as bad ass as the rider.

I sell kawi, husky and honda, for our pro team, hondas last the longest, kawasaki is a close second and the huskies third. We have more riders on kawasaki but honda still takes the cake. In my option, my hondas are great bikes, I've got the 2015s, looking forward to the 16's. go cycle north honda
