So buca does mean hole, but it's also slang for like, a cozy little room, a nook. And Beppo is a nickname for Giuseppe. Roughly localized, Buca di Beppo basically means "Li'l Joey's Hideaway".

I drive for GrubHub in a semi-dense area. Ghost kitchens are almost always used by chain restaurants looking to make a quick buck. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve picked up from a ghost kitchen that was a part of a real local restaurant

"Beppo" is a diminutive form of Giuseppe, and "buca" means basement. So Giuseppe's Basement
As a person with severe allergies, this makes me so paranoid to try out new stuff and order food online. So many different foods being cooked in the same building at the same time is just a recipe for disaster imo. You have the chance of coming across contaminated food when you order regularly but those extra menus just seem like it could spiral out of control, or straight up not be handled by actual proper and professional cooks

I am a relatively new Eddy B watcher, I don't really know anything about the Gus situation people are talking about, but Eddy just feels like that really chill cousin that, even though you don't get to see them often, they always have the best stories and rants to go on as they drive you around doing random shit. Like, he just feels like a comfortable dude to hang out around, which is sometimes hard to find! ❤❤❤

If you're speculating about why people love Eddy so much, I must admit that I already had a positive opinion about him pre-2021, but the way he handled himself after Sabrina's video about her ectopic pregnancy made him an S-tier youtube guy to me. Just for me personally, that was the turning point from "yeah this guy seems pretty cool," to "I would elect Eddy as president and storm the capitol on his behalf."
Yeah, I will admit, I started to judge the character of creators on whether or not they cut ties with Gus Johnson.
@Ella Well For me, it's the fact that Eddy, Gus's real life best friend, didn't choose the classic "bros before hoes" stance. It shows a strong sense of morality when a man can look at the actions of his best friend, particularly in regards to mistreating women, and say "That's fucked up. I'm not cool with that." I'm not into the whole guilty-by-association thing that a lot of people seem to do online, so I wouldn't have stopped supporting Eddy if he had stayed silent about the situation, but the quality of his response definitely exceeded my expectations.

I feel like Eddy is just that dude on the internet who shows up when he has something interesting to share, or he's worried about us (society) because of the new awful thing that's being used to exploit us (or the old awful thing)
My dad recently discovered a ghost kitchen in ATL as the physical location and was very excited at the no contact premise
I'm only a little familiar with business law but doesn't it seem like someone could sue for this for intentionally misleading the customer about what company they're dealing with or something? Or maybe not because it's all through Uber. I feel like unless someone really doesn't wanna eat from a chain that turns out to sets up ghost kitchens, they're not gonna do that, and also most people just care if the food is good, so who cares really. Just a thought though
Eddy is in his 20s but I swear the giant mustache and the utter misery he shows in every thumbnail he's in projects a man in his 50s one day away from punching the guy dressed as Chuck E. Cheese at his niece's birthday party.
Bit seriously, Ghost Kitchens don't help anyone but already established chains. The whole thing of 'we help Mom n Pop places!' comes off as such a lie but it is interesting seeing even smaller places playing the multi-fake place game.

I've been doing Uber deliveries lately and have delivered beast burger a couple times (here it's out of a taco stand) , one time I got to try a beast burger and it was fantastic. But I think it depends who makes it
