Long time in the making, but I finally Lifted My 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser! It's crazy how these Land Cruiser are built. I bought it with 205K miles and drove it with stock suspension til 217k. Put in a bunch of miles on trails and mountains! Enjoy the video!!
Great setup! Now let’s go put it to the test!
I'm always ready! :)
Congratulations on the progress. Looks great!!!
Thanks! It a big difference not only in height but as well as ride quality!
Nice suspension setup! I need myself a garage like that 🤤
Thanks for watching! Right, I need one too!!
Having a lift is a game changer
I would have to agree with you!! 😎😎👍🏼👍🏼
Sick! Btw that is a crazy lift, never seen one like that before
Thanks for the support fam! I'm for sure enjoying this Land Cruiser alot more!
Cruiser looking good man!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks fam! Enjoying it even more now!
Good call on the extended sway bar links.
Yea, people tend to forget you need to replace other parts that need to be extended when lifting a rig.
Hi really liked your video what type if spacers have u installed. Which one u can recommend
Thank for watching! Check out my video on the spacers I went with on my Land Cruiser. th-cam.com/video/hu7XsW8B-DQ/w-d-xo.html
it looks great man. i bet it handles much better. i have a 98 LX 470 and need to overhaul the suspension. AHC still works but it is 21 years old and I feel like its waiting to break/ lots of body roll. What size jackstands?
Thanks for watching bro! For sure it's a night and difference on the road and off! Yea, get rid of that body roll of the old suspension. Let me ask my buddy what size jacks we used.
how's the ride with the new set up?
you had AHC before or suspension?
Rides great now! 1998 didn't have the fancy AHC
Datsun 510 and fj100, we have the same taste in cars.
I've always wanted to add a 510 to my collection! My uncle and aunt had matching 510 in the 80's
how's the ride. similar to stock or more stiff?
Way better the 217k mile original suspension! Lol
is this the icon stage one set up similar to LXPLORE
YEs, John and I have the same setup.
what type of front diff drop did you go with?
I went w/ Trail Tailor diff drop.
@@MisterMemonice!
what type of rear spring
863-864 OME?
OME 2860 for now
Want to lift 2 inch how much is only parts cost
Basic lift can go for $700-and up. My total lift was about $2500
can you post links of the parts you used.
I will add them to the discription soon!
@@MisterMemo Yes please, like to do some research and round up cost
wow nice set up
i have 217k on my Lx its time to focus on the suspension.
allot of body roll.
lift kit or keep the AHC.. i love AHC.
Yea, I installed my lift at 217K miles! AHC is nice till it's not. I wouldnt want to have AHC issues in the middle of a trail.
@@MisterMemo make sense. i never had any issues with my AHC. love the way it self adjust as soon as you add weights.
