Good video ( i have a 2007 GXL Prado 120 4ltr and will be doing the same) its been asked but you have not answered - what width are your rims? we know you say offset is neg 10 but what is the actual width of the rims? are they 9inch/ 10inch for example ( i do know 17 x 9inch width works best with zero offset on the 120 Prado). Also what aftermarlet airbag brand/part # did you use?
My Prado is black and i have swapped out the front headlights with black binnacles/LED and swapped out the rear taillights complete assembly with LED's. Also fitted and Harrop E locker to rear diff & dual battery system/redark BCDC with rear slide-out draws & drop down table. These 120's are awesome 4wd's when you upgrade them
I’m pretty sure once you’re all done you’re only supposed to do bolts up hand tight, then lower it to the ground with full weight on all 4 wheels before torquing up properly. You can prematurely wear out the bushes on your shocks, sway bar links & panhard rod I’m lead to believe if everything is tightened too much prior to dropping the car. Great video though, I enjoyed it.
All you have said is correct, but I did not replace any bushes and they were all need to replace soon. You must be a mechanic too.
Hi, Salamat sa information. What's the brand of the coil and suspension you are using? I also have a 2002 Prado 120 series in the Philippines with Iron man suspension but I need it lifted to be able to use a bigger tire. Thanks again.

They're 275/70R17 rims with negative 10 offset. It fits very good mate

Thank you for your answer. By the way, my engine is a 3.0L atmospheric 6-cylinder. 2004 (201TKM) well maintained and it has no particular problem except that it's sorely lacking in punch at medium and high revs. Is there a remedy for this which we could apply.
Use Toyota injector cleaner, replace your air filter with K&E performance filter, clean your intake manifold and turbo intercooler, replace your exhaust pipe with 3 inches from turbo back up to tail pipe.
Is this the exact same or very smilies to a Prado 90’s suspension ? They both haha live rear coil and front ifs so it’d be the same right?

It's good to drive now that higher than before, more faster now that the tyres diameter is bigger. I'm satisfied with Pedders 2 inch lift kit.

It's a Pedders brand, you have to buy a kit. Part number is Pedders 7839, it depends on what ratings you wanted, how much load you carry. You have to buy an airbags and fit inside the rear coil springs. Thank you

I am going to install IMS suspension with 2" lift and 30mm spacers.
My tire size is 265/65/R17
I hope this is sufficient to prevent any rollovers.
I think your plan is a good set up, my suggestion is use 265/70/R17 tyres.
Could you help 2” means how many cm in front spring and how many for the rare ?

I'm not really sure, but if you look at the wheel base fortuner ang Prado are the same.

No, steel Rims has -10 off set. If you want to fit 265/70R17 the old alloy mags can be used.
I have installed 30mm wheel spacers after a 2 inch suspension lift on Prado.
The wheels are still stock.
I have 3 options.
Should I get -12 offset and remove spacers?
Or
Keep spacers with stock wheels
Or
Get -12 offset and let the wheel spacers be there..
Why is it that front stabilizer bar has to come right off.. is undoing the links enough. Or is it physically in the way of installing new struts?

@mattyg7143 you need a pry bar to pry the coil in on the rear. On the front must have a spring compressor. Best easy way is brimg the springs and struts to the auto shop to assemble it. That's what i did I paid 80, find a shop near your place ask them if they van hrlp you to assemble the front shocks.
What hydraulic jack did you use?
It's a 2.5 Tonnes crocodile jack mate.

The rims size is 17 inch, -12 offset. Tyre size 275/70R17

Mate quick question, your Prado is a Grande? I'm being told, we cannot do an upgrade to the Grande, because of airbags on the rear, you have airbags?? You did not have any problems from watching your installation
It's only a GXL coil springs not an air bag. I think your car has a suspension height control.
I didn't have any issues after all.

There is a product in the market called DIFF DROP OFF KIT can be used on air suspension like your grande.

Hindi mo na dapat i lift, dapat kumpleto lang yung bullbar kit n bibilhin mo. You can do it yourself madali lang

Sa long drive matipid pero city drive medyo malakas yun din ang sabi ng iba.
2’ lift din sa akin and one time I used the 265/70/17, I noticed the fuel consumption was good however, it didn’t look proportion due the ground clearance after the 2’ lift.
Anyway, thank you for your videos that gives us the idea owning a prado 120 series.

Not a single nut or bolt torqued to spec...but hey, that's the Toyota way. Had you done this with a Discovery (i know, they have air suspension) you wouldn't have made it out of your driveway.
I do apply torque only on an engine rebuild, the rest just tight it. Prado Grande also have air suspension I have not done with the discovery I wish one day.
