I saw a minimal improvement. I feel it's more for the one piece look. Check out my new video, I installed LED's in them. That help alot!
Have you done another video on what the lights looks like and their beam patterns and how how you like them? Also, have you updated the halogen bulbs that they came with and, if so, what updated LED/HID bulbs did you go with and what do you think of the new bulbs compared to the halogens?
I haven’t done a follow up video yet. Hopefully this week. I’ve kept the halogen bulbs it came with. I called USR to see if they had an update LED bulb for it and they said no. They recommend sticking to halogen so I wouldn’t have to modify the housing for LED or HID. It would void the warranty. I might just upgrade the halogen bulbs to a hyper white style output bulb. The head lights perform great and changes the look of my LC.
And if you’re not ready to release that update video yet, any sneak previews on your thoughts/experiences at this point? BTW, I enjoyed this video and your others on your 100 Series LC. Nice work and thanks!
@@nicamatt1970 Maybe I should do a side by side comparison or performance from OEM to USR. Overall I love the 1 piece look and how the light light up vs OEM. I'll do my best to do a video soon for you guys! Thanks for watching and supporting bro!
Memo, thanks for the update and I look forward to seeing a side-by-side comparison. I’ve got a set on order and I’m interested to hear your perspective now that you’ve had and used the new headlights for a number of months.
BTW, let me know if you come out to CO so maybe we can connect up. Also, you might enjoy a trip out to southern UT. My son and I go out there a lot and love it. There’s a lot to see, do and explore on lots of back roads that the LC loves.
Are these made for the left hand side drive LCs or right?
Didn't know that was an actual thing when it came to headlights. These don't say specifically for LHD or RHD.
@@MisterMemo I contacted USR, and they say those are US spec, "Are made for the Left Hand Drive US-Spec Land Cruiser for years 1998 to 2005."

Oh nice! What LED's did you use and any mods to install them.
@@MisterMemo I got some Hikari LEDs. I had to do some modifications to fit them. But to be honest I'm not happy with the way these headlight housings perform.

@@MisterMemo very hard to adjust the alignment without blinding oncoming traffic. Its either you don't see or people don't see.

They are not glass.
That's what I was going to ask. 98-02 were the same part number. I would guess 03 they changed to plastic
