I have a C8 on order and it's being built this week ... I just can't wait! Spec is Red Mist Tintcoat 3LT convertible Z51 with blacked out wheels, roof and nacelles, as well as yellow calipers, seatbelts and stitching (yes, Ferrari spec, sorry I couldn't resist). I ordered it last September. Many people have jumped off the Stingray waiting list and put themselves on the Z06 waiting list. So if you order now, there is a chance you can get a 2022 if it's a Stingray. Glad I got the Stingray, cause I just couldn't wait! However, if you want a Z06, or a hybrid E-Ray, the waiting list is definitely longer here in Canada. My dealer says it's a 2 year wait for a Z06. Anyway, thanks for the review, I just can't wait to get mine! Delivery date likely late June/early July. Did I mention, I just can't wait!

I’m a Mustang guy but I can’t deny the performance per dollar ratio the corvette has had year after year. That is a fantastic performance buy.

They do I seen like 4 or 5 at this point but on auto trade, all the ones I've seen are marked up at least 20%.... which still makes it a good value.

What a time to be alive that 495 HP is now considered "the right amount of power for an old person." I don't care what anyone says. 300hp+ in a car under 3200lbs is gonna be really quick on the street.

I would pay to see a "Doug and StraightPipes" special review event once the whole Corona thing is in the past.
As a 4th generation General Motors Fanboy I was VERY triggered when Yuri claimed that the C8 has a “Performance DRIVE Recorder” instead of “Performance DATA Recorder”. 🙅🏼♂️ So now my entire Tuesday is completely ruined. 🙎🏼♂️

The understeer is the road chamber setup from the factory. Chevy puts in the manual a track spec chamber setup and it removes the understeer from the car at the cost of tire life. Love the review as always guys!!

The new Corvettes in my hometown are like celebrities. Everyone who cares about the new car turns to look at it. It looks sleek, from the outside it positively impresses better than anything else on the road.

I’ve had my C8 since November 2020. I put my order in a week after it was announced. I’ve put about 2,500 miles on it. Overall I love it! I definitely don’t think it’s a daily driver, but for a “super car” type vehicle, it’s very liveable. Value is insane. GM did a great job. Great review Straight Pipes. You guys are always entertaining to watch!

For the price they sell this, it's absolutely great.
It has more then enough power & performance, it's comfortable to drive around,looks great and the N/A V8 sound really nice.
I just wish,they would offer a proper manual transmission.
I'm eager to see the ZO6 & ZR-1 variants of the C8, the C8-Racing version looks absolutely brutal and usually this is what they base the ZO6 & ZR-1 on.
With today’s younger drivers buying this car I bet they don’t release a manual-nobody can drive one! But you are right, a MT is a must.
I love how the corvette has been improved every time , as a person who loves to race its been great to test it , did with new corvette fitted with victor racing stat c8 wing an the handling on straights and corners was just amazing .
Got mine a couple weeks back! 1LT Blue Z51, ordered last July... Amazing car, makes ya feel like a superhero! everywhere you go, people give thumbs up and wanna chat about it.
My dad placed an order for the convertible. They told him that it would be a year and a half before it arrives. His other option was to pay a $40,000 premium and get it now. He’s going to wait.

Fantastic video guys! As with any car, a stiffer duster will keep the interior dust free and looking great, even in the nooks and crannies.

i ordered my 1LT convertible, Z51 package, with high wing option, black carbon flash mirrors, roof, and nacelles, in white body color , red interior in 2020 October. i will be taking delivery this week. Super excited and as a fellow youtuber it will be fun content.

Yup Guys, have one on order...1LT Vert with Performance Exhaust, Carbon Flash Roof and Nacelles. I am a big fan of the HTC...best look and very practical to drop the top in 16 seconds and head out on your mission of the moment and you can hear the sweet sound of the exhaust so much better...

I have a 2019 Grand Sport Corvette. Love it. The C8 has some awkward lines for the hardtop but the convertible looks so much better. Chevy should literally include a pair of new balance shoes with every corvette purchase! Lol
That Bugatti Chiron like launch controll in the beginig of the video was the coolest thing i have ever seen. I could only think you used another C8 for that shoot too

man, I think the most impressive thing in this is the gearbox. Despite it being an auto it's a damn good one. Watching the car accelerate and have zero front end dips during shifting is insane, my little brain can't even figure it out, lol.
I was in Miami Beach all last week where I saw more Ferraris than GTIs (no joke!), and I saw a handful of C8s and they really grab your attention. They do stand out like an Italian exotic. Well done, Chevy!

You’re getting mid 3 second range 0-~km/h because you haven’t broken in the car. It needs around 1000 km for this happen (the computer limits the power until then). the car has around 445hp, vs after 1000km it will make it’s true 495hp. This 3.5s time is normal for the Break-in stage might I mention.
It had 2500km
