1LT was good enough for me. The frunk can hold over $100 worth of groceries, luv the looks I get when loading groceries in there. Gas mileage is great, compared to my daily driver, Challenger 🐈
Great video. We think our 2023 3LT HTC looks better than the coupe and has the option of rolling down the rear window to hear the incredible exhaust note better even with the top up. Although, unless it’s raining the top is always down.
We have about 7500 miles now on a 2023 C8 3LT. It's amazing how chill this car can be as a daily driver. I shop light, so I can easily use it as a grocery getter, and in touring mode, it really is a relaxed car when you want it to be. With one quick push of the Z button, that all changes. :D
I hove owned my C8 for four months now and the car just gets better. Great video and I bought the LT2 package because the LT1 was too basic for me. I also got the convertible because like you said, "you have 100 million light years of headroom..." Best line in the video. Thanks
Dude...love the video! Pretty funny! Keep them coming! I almost daily drive mine except for the rain. It could rain pretty bad here in Louisiana and flooding becomes a problem.
Hilarious and spot on! I've driven mine daily plus a cross country jaunt. I have a 22 Z51 rag top with every option I could get on it...plus the mid engine trunk is large enough to smoke a brisket if you are driving at least 16 hours... two thumbs up on the video production and subscribed!

Great video. Two suggestions. I put Lowe's insulation board cut to fit in trunk bottom. Heat was no better then an sedan until I stopped then heat from muffers came quickly. Second there videos on proper mirrors adjustment. My 2023 HTC Z51 2LT. Gt2 19 months old 25k. No problems.

Just a Sunday fun drive car in nice weather . I was thinking 1LT. But I think the extra 7 grand May be worth it . Not sure 🤷♂️
Another great video, you appear to enjoy the same things I do with our C8. I like to step on it somewhat just to hear the engine, it sounds great top up or down because of the rear window. Thought I would miss the manual transmission in our C6 convertible, the C8 sounds incredible when shifting.

Love your video and especially your humor! Mine is a daily driver and was always going to be a daily driver. It rocks! The Android Auto is the car's worst feature (so unreliable, not going to get into it). With a little ingenuity I can get 2 sets of golf clubs in the back! There is no way I am putting in frozen or refrigerated groceries in the rear (way too hot). There are videos out there to take the interior of the trunk out, put some heat tape on the underside and that helps, but I'm thinking that bad boy engine needs to keep cool and if you do that it won't dissipate the heat that well so I don't know what to do about that. One thing that really annoys me is that the mirrors on my 2LT are supposed to fold in automatically, but that only happens when you lock the car by wasting time reaching into your pocket for the key fob and then lock it. When I turn off the engine it should do it! Or at least when I press the lock button on the door before exiting. Maybe GM can fix that with a software update? Android Auto should shut off too! Gerard, I say too bad with neighbors baby and start your baby outside so you don't die of the fumes! When need you around to make these great entertaining and informative videos!
@@gerardpcollins Here's a suggestion on the mirror - change the angle of it. Since it's a camera feed it won't affect your view but you may find with the mirror no longer reflecting a similar angle to the feed it's easier to look at. It worked for me.
Dude you’re funny and great video! Looks like you’re enjoying your C8 as much as me. That rear view cam mirror had me like Fred Sanford looking through magnifying glasses but after a couple of weeks I was good. What I hate about it is if you see a nice looking lady walking down the street, there’s no looking in the rear view for a second look. 😅
I live in Canada. Even though I cannot use my C8 3LT convertible as my sole vehicle, it is a daily driver for me, even in the winter! Works just fine as long as the snow isn't high, you PPF the whole car and winter tires. Traction is great because the engine is in the back.
😂 I've gotten mine stuck in the driveway with just a light dusting. Moving it out of the garage just to change the oil in my Civic. It's no fun to drive when the roads get cold never mind snow.
@@gunslingre Did you have winter tires? I've driven mine through 3 winters now, no issues at all (touch wood). As long as they plow the roads, it has been just fine, even in -35 degrees Celsius. Fires up every time like clockwork, heats up the seats and steering wheel without me having to tell it. I have an SUV for really bad weather, but the Vette is just fine otherwise. Just put it in snow mode and go. As long as you don't drive crazy, you'll be fine. I've driven through at least 2 snow storms per season and dudes in trucks are shocked when they see me. Most give me a thumbs up. Lol.
I have 80,000 miles on mine, i don't even commute I just rip every day baby. This car can be driven aggressively for like 12 hours a day for a month straight without an issue it is unbelievably durable. I'm not driving gently or for short periods of times I'm taking full on rip road trips and murdering the gas for 90% of the drive and the car has never had any issues.
Have the same C8 no spoiler or carbon skirts, adrenaline red int., cars mint & wicked(Boston voice), selling it when I can get my hands on a ZR1. daily driving, let the engine & tranny fluid get north of 150f before driving. Use sport/z mode, better mileage, drive, shifts & suspension 😎

M4 may be the better competition. Better interior (both material and space) and is a sport car. M850 is more like grandturismo

I replaced the mirrors with the Paragon one's.. blue tint and it helped tremendously! All valid points!!!
