Are We Knee Deep In Poop? - Nova Scotia Log Cabin Diaries

Hi Friends!
Lets talk about Poop!
As many of you know Matt and I Moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia 2 months ago. While not everything was what we expected..... but if it was what kind of adventure would that be. The mold is gone and now we are tackling some shit. Like for real... real poop. We are having our septic looked at and emptied. We were expecting the worst but hoping for the best. In the last few vlogs we spoke about mice. I'm pretty sure it will be an ongoing battle but I am almost positive that we got rid of them for now....however I did find some poop. I'm thinking it's old but I really don't know. I am telling you this vlog has a lot of poop talk!
My parents will be coming for a visit in just a day so we need to get ready for them! Our new counter is in and so is our wood supply for the deck! Eeeeek I had the best visit with one of our friends from down the road. She taught me how to make soap! Like beautiful natural soap made with essential oils! I feel so much gratitude that she was willing to share a skill with me!!!
I am so excited for everything that is happening and what is coming our way.Swims in our lake, exploring more of this beautiful province, more family visits and without a doubt more repairs and renos. Thank you so much for sticking around with us. Chatting with you and hearing your thoughts have been not only helpful but comforting as well!
