As a cambodian it hard to see two country in the asian fight together
My heart is so torn when I see Buddhist monk going about with bowl in his hands,and the army tanks are screaming for bloodshed war chasing after him.The politicians and rulers of both sides,Khmer and Thai could only careless for their holly monks and the poor. Their ambitious souls are occupied by greed ! Can we see Khmer monks and Thai monks are in the same form of yellow robes and they chant the same words in prayers. It is so sad that we can't live in harmony together .
As a political scientist, it is so refreshing to be able to watch up to date intelligence reports from the privacy of my home rather than the dig through the crap reported through the mainstream media these days.
Since 5 days?'' This is the first time I ever heard of this....
I wish for peace and love on both side and prosperities and long live for the great of this planet earth. Cambodia are always fighting against the superpower Country, in the midle age against Mongolian and Japan, in year of 1800s by the English and French Empire and in modern Generation of the 1940s Japan and Vietmese, 1960s the Americans and Vietmese again... and now year 2011 Thailand and Vietmese again, we lost so many motherland they should stop invading our country and be more peaceful.

Hey Thai friend. The truth is Thailand and Cambodia sometimes fights near the border, but thats not the case with Viet Nam.

It's a shame that both countries Thailand and Cambodia fighting each other for something left over from the ancient Khmers. The Hindu Khmer temple is located on the Thai-Cambodian border with Thailand more advantage being situated on higher ground.The world court made a blundder by awarding the temple to Cambodia knowing fully well the Cambodian would be unable to reconstruct the temple to its original state.
Look how well the Thais made Phra Pimai temple, Phra Rong Rung and Phra Muang Tam which would make the ancient Khmer kings proud for preserving the Khmer culture and heritage.The famous Angkor Wat needs more repairs as many parts are broken.The Thais and Cambodians must sit together and try to solve the problem. Make Preah Vihear temple a joint venture promoting Tourism and lovers of Khmer art. This would be beneficial to both in the long run. There is no point being selfish. For conserving this important monument for future generations and mankind ,we would be very thankful and appreciate.

Thailand has much stronger military capabilities than Cambodia. Thailand has the United States - Russia - China It is a major ally and Thailand is a major ally outside NATO. Armed Forces Thailand ranks 16th in the world and Thai Armed Forces Ranks 1st in ASEAN Thailand has modern fighters like the F-16 and Jas39 Thailand has a warship. Plane Carrier Thailand has modern tanks like T-84 and VT4, and Thailand has missiles like the DTI-1G. Cambodia can not fight Thailand.
