This is probbably the first piece of music that actually physically connected sounds to emotions and to people

What and epic way to end.
In any of my runs, there is always at least one workshop on 24 hours, because only their research can help us all fend of the cold. whaaahhh I love this game so much!! 😭
But honestly in my blind run I was so overprepared I couldn't enjoy this song as much as I do now, because it violated my ears while I didn't even feel threatened. Care houses, baby. Care houses!

From the average 20°C at night to 16°C I can't sleep without wearing socks, wearing jacket and double the blanket. And frankly I do wonder how you guys in Australia adapt at that climate below 10°C...
2:44 I absolutely love how the violin seem to resemble the temperature steadily dropping with the powerful bombastic music in the background that could resemble the resilience of the citizens, making sure that the city survives. Such an awesome game altogheter and I can't wait to play Frostpunk 2!
I'm sad to say it, but I like the in-game version so much better; way more emphasis on strings, less sharp harp, and the bass trumpets just blow my mind. I get this awesome anxious, yet epic feeling every time the recorded version hits, but this somehow doesn't really touch me:(
It may be a fault of the recording, probably sounded better in person phones tend to drown out the higher and lower sounds in favor of auto balancing the sound
I like to think the violin cascading portion of the song is more about hope and the automatons working for the city, “The machines, they’re our only hope now!”

Feel like this arrangement massively overused the base drum. It should be used to deliver the occasional shock whereas the timpani should have been used for the footstep sound. The violin solo played the accent note wrong… what a shame for an epic OST

People who are the ones asking for stronger measures. Doubled on Last Autumn scenario where your routes are either police state wirh engineers and prisoners or communism with mandated executions of enemies of the people
