So I have played around with this sorta method before with my cricut but today I was able to use this method with my cameo 5 I used the embossing tool in the #2 tool and then cut it with the auto blade. Thanks for sharing your method it's great one!
Excellent video as always Kelly. Really clever way to use the three elements of the tools, the materials and the software to get the absolute most from your Cricut. I can’t wait to give this a go. Thank you for sharing such a great idea ❤😘.
I love your channel! I need to emboss a name and a last name. I also would like the black ink on top of the name embossing. I have all the tips including (21) and I have the thick card. But how to make this command on my Maker 3?
Thank you so much! You can use your stencil to place on top of your embossed design (once it has been embossed), and use a blending brush to apply some ink to the embossed section :)
@@KellyRossouw Thank you for answering back! Is there a way to make the Maker 3 to do the writing with a black marker on the same command of embossing?
Do you mean it isnt showing the foil feature? Im not sure why it is doing that, is the item you are trying to change to foil set to print then cut perhaps? I havent seen that problem before unfortunately.
Place the stencil turn it over and use hand embossing tools for more detail?
You are a Great Coach! Your voice is nice and slowly. A lot better than german TH-camr. Love your instructions. Thank you.

Ah thank you so much! Appreciate you stopping by!
amazing? which blade to prepare when doing this?
Your regular fine point blade to cut, and then either of the tools I mentioned to emboss :)
By chance can you show us how to setup this same exact process to emboss/deboss on the cameo5 without using their embossing mat?
I dont have a Cameo 5, nor a debossing tool for the cameo, so unfortunately not :(
Thanks a ton for this! I love this idea! I would never have thought of it 🫶
You're so welcome! It was such a fun project to work on xx

Can you do a tutorial on how to emboss on the Joy Xtra?
I only have the Joy (the Xtra isnt available in my country yet unfortunately) but I will add it to the list! :)
@@KellyRossouw ok then what about the Joy? They are pretty much the same
Can this be done on the explore air 2?
Yes you can do it with any Explore machine!
I’m trying to do this with you but cricut is showing the foil feature in design space
