Drove the ET7 last Sunday. As a Range Rover driver I can only say that the quality is extremely good and in my opinion at the same, or even a better level compared to Range Rover. Also Nomi was very responsive and the power (hp) was just wow.
ET5 now in china, you should wait for 3-4 months for getting the car, et5 sold so well in China, i guess it will make a hit in europe, much better experience than tesla
@@ItsOnlyElectric I completely agree, NOMI will only get better. If there was a home version of this like Amazon Echo (Alexa) or Google Next I would want it. I like NOMI's reactions and a home version would help the device learn. What are peoples reactions when you drive past them or park at a mall, do people ask you questions about your NIO?
@@charlesd9949 I only had it for 4 days as a press car but I got s lot of looks and a couple of people asking questions. In Sweden people are normally shy and not so interested in others stuff. So in other countries it will probably get a lot more attention.
@@ItsOnlyElectric I still look every time I see a TESLA and they are everywhere here. NIO is going to catch eyes in North America. Geez, here in Canada people will walk up without saying 'Hello' and say 'How much?'.
@@ItsOnlyElectric thank you! Loved it! Appreciate the time you take to put out the NIO videos! Please can you show more NIO content and perhaps an update on brand perception and awareness in Sweden. Thank you once again ☺️
Tks a lot showing the battery swapp. Similar time needed to fill and pay a gasoline tank. Appreciate ur video. In Netherlands just 23rd March opened the 1st shop in Rotterdam. the battery price for the 100K is at 280 Euro monthly. With winter tire set 20" and blue exterior colour extra total sales price inclusive 21% tax is 78300 Euro. Lots of money no doubt about.
No problem! Glad you enjoyed it. In Sweden nio is now opening 2 more stations in april and currently 2 are open. It is a expensive car. The Nio ET5 is smaller but still not a small car and will cost less. Still with tow hitch and with foldable seats etc.
A very nice and positive review. My experience after 41k km is very positive as well, some small issues about software only, but since last year April when i got the car it’s improved a lot. But still waiting for NAD autonomous driving system. Thank you for sharing your experience ⚡️🔋🏁
@@ItsOnlyElectric NAD is not even started 😉 In Europe should be only NP “Nio Pilot” available at the moment. That’s really just a LCC, ACC system and bit automatic parking. In China we got NOP for ES8/6 EC6 and NOP+ for all cars of NT2 platform ET7/5 ES7…. NAD is still future and will be available as subscription only. ⚡️🔋🏁

I think it will be a success. First of all, it has enough innovation and intelligent system, and the mainstream cars in Japan and South Korea can't compete with it at all. Secondly, it will launch a new cheap brand soon, and the price will be more cost-effective. The only problem is funding as well as production issues and distributors around the world
If you have driven a NIO ET 7, the interior and the tech is so luxirous that you will think Tesla feel like Toyota Prius. In China, we now say NIO is for the "NEW MONEY" people.
@@joseperes777 Actually the ownership of the battery may not be delivered to customers. For instance, Nio promises 4 free battery swaps per month for the customers in China. If you decide to buy it, you'd better make sure the local sales terms and the battery station map in your city.
this is a great car. I also think battery swap will continue with better battery tech. Becuase once cars can do 1000kms range then it will take longer to charge.Nio can also have swappable 1000km range battery
NIO is interesting, its just so expensive everywhere. NIO's manufacturing campus is 6 hr drive from where I live, given the whole supply chain in China excpet its Nivida chips. It's still 60% more expensive than a BYD tang.
I love the NIO. I don't have to buy that battery which depletes and depreciates and I can always upgrade to the latest battery tech in future. First off, I come from owning Tesla cars. One Model X and one Model 3. My wife's Model X is currently in Tesla Service Center waiting for rear motor replacement due to real drive motor dying at 72,000 miles. My Model 3 has interior rattle noise. It is such a nuisance. I also normally get between 78% and 82% of claimed range only for the Model 3. The Model 3 is not stellar and its Autopilot is not reliable as of 2023. It suddenly slammed on its brakes when I was on the left most lane (the fastest lane in USA) and there was a car in the second right lane slowing down due to merge lane ahead. It has nothing to do with my leftmost fastest lane, but the Model 3 still slammed its brake. The autopilot is also not reliable in rainy or foggy conditions. The side cameras have tendency to be "blocked, and autopilot is disabled" message comes on screen quite often. Tesla needs to spend some money and put some nice radar sensors and LiDAR too, besides the cameras on a Tesla is only 2 mega-pixels, NIO is already using 8 mega-pixels. Tesla cars are cheap for a reason. After owning one for about a year, I am not as impressed as some TH-camrs want me to be.
Does it recharge when breaking ? (Lucid Grand Tourism has such). Has the ET7 also hydractive suspension? I had a Citreon XM V6 ... was more flying than driving this French limousine. . Would like to see more cars with hydractive ... inclusive electronic adaption to sportive, cruising or rough terrain. 😊
Yes, Regen is active when braking. that applies to almost all EVs. Nio has Air suspension. Probably not as smooth as hydroactive but it has a floating feeling for sure.
Looked great until I realized that you can't fold the rear seat 🤦♂️ I also hate all the pling and plong! Is it possible to disable all the sounds and also Nomi?
Still waiting on the "FIRST NIO Crash REPAIR" video on TH-cam....Keep in contact with that body shop to see if there are any CRASHED NIOs in for repair....Thanks
Wowh ... 4.4 tons total as towing unit. That's mind boggling For most owners eith boat trailers it's a serious issue as most regular car producers dont have heavy weight capacities.

Agree. Thank you for watching.
Very, very Impressed with Nio..
Me too!
This car is certainly in my EV buying list. I like the looks and design over all. Very nice.
Absolutely an excellent review. I glad NOMI was behaving herself. GO NIO !
Yes, Nomi was on a great mood all the time! Thank you for tuning in! ♥️
the NIO ET7 is very elegant!!
Yes, very good looking and elegant car and the design really hides the size of it.
ET7 my favourite
Great video! Keep them coming!
Excellent break down and description of NIO functionality.
Glad you think so!
Nice NIO reviews. I’m liking your channel. Could you do review/tests of the ET5? I guess it would be more accessible in terms of affordability.
