I would love to see an AM & PM skincare routine that uses these products to lighten/remove hyperpigmentation & melasma. So often we have all of the ingredients but we arent using them to their full potential due to lack of knowledge in layering or using other products that don’t pair well. @@megleland6320 Thank you for sharing your detailed process. I wish Dr. Idriss would share these type of details. Product knowledge is great but unless it's used properly, you will not reap the benefits.
Would you mind sharing the actual products you use? Also, prior to using these products, how severe were your hyperpigmentations or melanoma? How long did it take before you saw significant results. I have tried so many different products and none have seemed to diminish the hyperpigmentations. I've tried several C (ascorbic acid) serums and most have caused severe dryness and crepey texture so I have to dilute it with other serums like Alpha Arbutus. It doesn't sound like you have dry skin. My cheeks are very dry and even worse when using C serums or retinol which I have omitted to cut down on dryness. I've tried so many moisturizers like Urban SkinFx, Aveeno Calm Restore, and many other heavy barrier creams but they don't seem to help. :(
I appreciate any help you can provide.
While using Retinoid at night can we use vitamin C cream in the morning with sun screen.? Kindly guide me

Congrats on 500k milestone. You deserve to go to one million. As was mentioned, great info..please help us translate this info into an action plan. Most of us have a budget that is modest. Going to a derm doc every couple of months for scripts plus buying the ingredients is too expensive. It’s thousands of dollars a year. How do we achieve near results with over the counter products?

i ADORE you....your frankness and sense of humour, your truth, your experience and education! I am however so overwhelmed as a consumer as to what the heck is best for my situation! Even looking at your beautiful skin care line....do I need it all? Will one thing work? (melasma that started with pregnancy (hormonal)/freckles/skin damage). I'm 56 years old now and the struggle is REAL! HA! My derm has suggested VB6, gycolic acid and retinoids. I've added Hydroquinone, vitamin C (topical and PO). I'm using timeless products morning and night and YOUR cream recommendations. I would so appreciate your thoughts but know you are so busy!

Very informative. I now always use sun screen, but many yrs. in a hot climate find it
very hard to reduce it. I will now try Alpha Arbutin. So much sensitivity with retinoids.

LOVE your channel and congrats on growing your channel. My skincare routine consists of am wash with water then Vit C and skinceuticals sunscreen. PM bioderm toner and cleanser dependent on season. Then tretanoin and dependent on season moisturizer. My question is when in my routine do I fit in the azelaic acid?

I been spot treating using hydroquinone and there’s a halo ard the spot. I’m amazed by how knowledgeable Dr Shereene is again.
how long after did you use HQ to realize there's halo around the spot?

I’m a daily outdoor swimmer and hoping you will do a video on how to best protect during and care for after daily outdoor exercise. I do slather everything in sunscreen, but I may not be making the right choice for sport. My skin is also dry because of the chlorine. I live in south Texas humid soup so heavier moisturizers for daytime just melt right off.
