    Although the ideas are cool, with DM, it's all about testing the numbers. How much does it cost for a prospect and then how much does it cost for a customer? If you're sending to women, items that look like wedding invitations will get opened more, as an example. Sending to kids, it should look like a comic. In other words, what would someone actually buy to read. Put your message in that and send it to them. Your advice on micro lists is good.

      Except those leads are very good and very juicy, I am not sure it is worth the money to do it.

    Do you have any stats on the effectiveness of using the express mail envelope with front door delivery compared to the standard #10 envelope in the mailbox?

    Wowwww. Thank you for putting up this video. I have a marketing consultancy business and I planned on sending out hand written letters along with some USB flash drives with a personalized video. But the video cards are a game changer... awesome content! Side question, have you had any good ROI with regular old envelopes with handwritten addresses and stamps?

      @Retipster  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You bet! Yes, regular envelopes can work too, but it depends a lot on who you're trying to reach and what you're trying to help them with. It also doesn't hurt if you can add some creative flair to the outside of your envelopes.

    Do you have any videos or blog of what a mailer letter looks like? I’m looking to send my first one and just wondering how if there is an example so I can see what I should be sending out, thank you.

      Mailer letter? Do you mean a video card, or something else?

      @@Retipster maybe I have the total wrong idea, I found some property’s that I want to send offers to but have never done it before I was wondering if there was a template or something to follow, I guess I just don’t know how to go about doing the whole thing for the first time

    I think small package as direct mail is much better than letter or flat. We will mail advertising playing card as DM

    Hey Seth What’s The Most Efficient Data Base To Pull Delinquent Taxes . I pull list from county but it sometimes hard to read

    • @Retipster
      @Retipster  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tae - I've been using DataTree lately: retipster.com/datatree - but I've also had some pretty good experience with AgentPro247. Either of those options are relatively efficient (much more so than a county list) and not ridiculously expensive.

    in my opinion if your flyer post card or business card get to the hands of the home owner when they need your services they are gonna call you, other wise they are gonna throw your mail away does not matter how fancy your flyer is.

    • @Retipster
      @Retipster  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, I agree. I think the issue is with the people who are "swing" recipients, where they do legitimately need what you're offering, but if your presentation is bad or looks like junk mail, they'll toss it without taking the time to hear you out.

    Omg that amazing tech card that copies what I can find on YT without the preroll bS seems meant for an extremely specific audience… because, like most of my kids’ noisy toys, that thing will break and be tossed in the trash almost as soon as it’s opened. Heaven forbid I accidentally open one of those things in the office hallway! Dho! That’d be like a verbal right there. Coworkers certainly could goose each other with that, though.
    I’m from a resort retirement community. It seems just right for the demographic here.

    I saw this video because I wanted to find out how to stop getting junk mail. I get anywhere between 5 and 30 pieces of junk mail a day. I am not kidding. have actually counted 30. I don't care how nice the envelope is. If I didn't solicit the mail then I don't want it. I do get these types of envelopes also. I have put myself on no mail list and have emailed and left messages on opt out sections on companies websites. I then just shred anything with my name on it and throw the rest away. Please, please, please, please stop sending junk mail to people. If someone wants your business they will come to you. Find other ways to do it. Find a better street corner, build a bigger flashier sign or buy commercial air time. Please stop wasting peoples time opening mail and stop wasting paper and other supplies.

      Thanks for your comment, Darren. I agree. Direct mail marketing needs to be done with a lot more intelligence and responsibility. Unfortunately, the vast majority of marketers don't seem to have any concept of this.
