I was today years old when I heard that if you don’t know what to pursue, start by pursuing yourself. Everything then will fall into place. What a perfect piece advice.
I think it's a decision to finally choose yourself-choosing to be the healthy, happy, and healed version of yourself. When you choose yourself, others will recognize it, and I hope it leads to many great opportunities in life. We all have a little child within us, and I'm letting her come out, shine, and be playful. To be my authentic self and not let fear take over, it has to start with small steps: self-care, little rewards, and building confidence by achieving small tasks daily. In this way, I will also learn how to raise a healthy kid of my own, as I’m a single mom.
@@edwinhunnet2666 and is why I dedicated my first book Energize to my wife. She is without doubt one of the secrets to behind all the things I’ve accomplished ❤️
Yup and this is why you see a lot of people living stagnant, paycheck to paycheck lives. Those people take whatever partner they could get that they find relatively attractive and just stick with them. And then wonder why theyre unhappy and unsuccessful

My biggest mistake was never believing in myself. As a medically disabled veteran, I believed my life was over and my confidence was shattered. I’m 23 so whenever I feel down and depressed, I remember how far I’ve come, the literal hills I’ve conquered during my time in the Army, and remember that everything will be alright. I’m 31 and consider myself a late bloomer. I’m only now starting my undergrad journey in nursing after wasting away my twenties getting high and barely getting by. I still live with my parents. But not all is wasted. My twenties is an example of how not to live life. And I had to pay the price in time, something I’ll never get back. I love how you said there’s no such thing as an overnight success. So many times we only see the result of someone’s success and rarely the work that led up to it
So true. We are blind to what goes on behind the scenes and focus too much on the things we see in public which are simply byproducts of the years of hard work.
I turned 27 last week and it has been very hard to look back at my life not knowing where my twenties have gone. I feel like I haven’t achieved anything meaningful and I’ve been stuck at a 9-6 for the last 3 years and a half going into 4. I feel like my best years are gone and my time is ticking before I’m out of my twenties. I want nothing more than to leave my current job because I’m not passionate and I’m working for someone else’s dream and not my own, getting home when the sun is almost going down and watching my stay at home dad with dementia get older and not being able to spend more time with him. I have no direction about my future or what I want to build, what my gifts or talents are. I feel like the years are going by in a blink of an eye and I get overwhelmed at the thought of not having an answer, and not having a direction that gives me purpose and time freedom, while being challenged with getting out of the bad habits that keep me stuck further more.
I'm sorry about what happened to your father. I guess each one needs to duel on their own time. Don't rush that up. Don't beat yourself up because of societies expectations in life. You still a young woman. You can find your way to happiness, but is hard to find what passionates that heart when is broken. So take your time. 🫂🫂🫂

Hi Simon, I just wanted to let you know that I'm 24 and have recently started my career path as a stage performer after my surgery. Your advice has really strengthened my determination. Thank you! ❤
I started doing yoga because I wanted to try something new and a friend recommended it to me. I’ve already been eating healthy but then I decided to truly cut out bad sugar and treats over the summer and my health, vibrancy and mindset and so clear and positive. Especially because of yoga. Find something for your health you do everyday. Health is not a side hustle like he said. ❤
Those magic words that you said literally transform my mind! I'm 19 and I'll make sure that I will climb the right mountain and leave no regrets! Cheers to anyone who wants to change their life! Good luck to our journey🥂🙌
Public speaking, and finding something you're truly passionate about definitely were unknown skills for me until way too late in life. Underrated to enable long-term growth and leadership 😊🔥
I follow Senca's philosophy of "Life is long, we just waste most of it," so I only agree with most of these things you said. I only use the "truths" I believe are real.
I needed this so much 🫶 lost my early 20s to bad depression and gave up a fancy uni degree for a not so great relationship. 25 now and back in my 2nd year of a 5 year degree, finding myself ashamed of how “behind” in life I am. Your video reminded me to look back with gratitude for the life lessons and growth I’ve accumulated, and to cherish the present moments 🥺
“tying your emotional wellbeing to future outcomes will cause you to live as if you’re never going to die, and then you will die, never having truly lived” this is the most profound message i’ve ever heard

the mountain analogy is so true. my parents and peers have always pressured me to go to college and get a 9-5 but i’ve always been a dreamer and i don’t want to be a work slave. it’s sad how brainwashed ppl are even when i explain over and over i want REAL freedom. always be aware and chose YOURSELF!

@@simonalexandero Whats your advice for this age of ours??
@@Sam_clava with regards to anything specifically? 🙏
dude... you are so freaking YOUNG. I'm 27 and i wish i had YOUR age. And im sure people that's 35 will think 27 is too young. And so on. People that's 60 thinks 40 is young.

“Nobody is here to save us “ , that hit deep. But also as an adult , being saved by someone just shows how not independent we are .

im 38 and this is the video that will finally push me to post mine! LETS GO GUYS!
Let’s go Johnny!!! 🙌
good advices. i lost everything because of the war. i am 25, i dont know where to go and what i want and i am just trying to survive. i am so jealous of you people whose lives were not destroyed
❤️❤️❤️
What small steps can you start taking outside your 9-6 that will help you eventually create an exit route to something more fulfilling?
I'm sorry about what happened to your father. I guess each one needs to duel on their own time. Don't rush that up. Don't beat yourself up because of societies expectations in life. You still a young woman. You can find your way to happiness, but is hard to find what passionates that heart when is broken. So take your time. 🫂🫂🫂

nah i got friends doing their dreams at 35 for a living and we all go out dancing and have fun, sometimes i feel like im older than them cuz they got more energy. i think sometimes im just lazy and then get sad about being lazy so then its a cycle i stay in. its hard to pull urself out of it but sometimes only you can get yourself out.

Hi Simon, I just wanted to let you know that I'm 24 and have recently started my career path as a stage performer after my surgery. Your advice has really strengthened my determination. Thank you! ❤
Exciting times ahead 🙌
I started doing yoga because I wanted to try something new and a friend recommended it to me. I’ve already been eating healthy but then I decided to truly cut out bad sugar and treats over the summer and my health, vibrancy and mindset and so clear and positive. Especially because of yoga. Find something for your health you do everyday. Health is not a side hustle like he said. ❤
Love it Adam 🙌
What he said about health was the most important thing
Thank you 🙏
Straight to the point no introduction.. I love this ✍🏼

Those magic words that you said literally transform my mind! I'm 19 and I'll make sure that I will climb the right mountain and leave no regrets! Cheers to anyone who wants to change their life! Good luck to our journey🥂🙌
Beautiful words. Thank you and here’s to the journey ahead 🙌
Public speaking, and finding something you're truly passionate about definitely were unknown skills for me until way too late in life. Underrated to enable long-term growth and leadership 😊🔥
Thank you 🙏
I follow Senca's philosophy of "Life is long, we just waste most of it," so I only agree with most of these things you said.

❤️❤️❤️
Don’t feel ashamed, timelines are just a social construct, the important thing is you’re doing your thing!! Good luck :)

The winterarc granted me the chance to work on self-discipline. Giving up on social media was the biggest step up in having time for sports, readings, outdoor activities, and quality time with my significant other.

the mountain analogy is so true. my parents and peers have always pressured me to go to college and get a 9-5 but i’ve always been a dreamer and i don’t want to be a work slave. it’s sad how brainwashed ppl are even when i explain over and over i want REAL freedom. always be aware and chose YOURSELF!
