    well thats one way to explain it alto i dont think its totaly accurate. the car 3 wheels so easy because the chains move the piviot point from the cylinder and power ball to the chain more inboard on the body and axle making it easier to tip over. if it was just picking up the front end like in the scenario with the Jack like you said that all cars equpied with chains could 3 wheel and they cant. hoppers use chains parallel to the rear cylinder to compress the spring before hopping but they don't three-wheel very well because you're not moving the Pivot Point like you would have to chain was in the middle

    1st things 1st. You will not be able to use a chain bridge for power 3 wheel without a 3rd pump. As far as reinforcing goes thats hard to say. People charge different prices and also the extent of reinforcement being done. Stress points to minor plated to full frame boxing all carry its on price for a bridge plating the frame arches and reinforcing the rearend are pretty much necessary. All that plus a bridge maybe 6-800. Shop around and make sure whoever does it knows what their doing. Will be bad if done half ass when something breaks.

    Most informed and details description of this online hands down. I appreciate the white board explanation as well over a in car demo as the theory is much more concrete

      Can't believe nobody corrected your thought in 6 years. Yes we know how 3 wheel works.
      A bridge and 3 pump setup allows standing 3 wheel without being in motion. In a g-body you can add sand bags or find a couple hundred pound friend to sit on a corner.

    You can run 2 pumps and have a power 3.....1 pump for the front and 1 for the rear...BUT with 4 dumps. 6 dumps total ....It works but it's mainly for import setups. I did a 1 pump 12 switch setup back in the 90s it worked great with accumulators on a

      Yeah using a dump as a block off. I've also done that back in the day. It stays open so you wire it to shut off when you hit the switch.

    When running the 14 inch cylinders to the rear will you have to modify the trailing arms?

  • @Simonsaysboxing
    @Simonsaysboxing 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've never done this an have always hit an easy standing 3 wheel. As long as you have a high lockup, lay pretty low and have more than a pansy setup with less than 8 batteries all this nonsense isn't needed lol.

    Fwd's are never a good choice to juice up. It can be done but usually a lot more work involved and sometimes more expensive. Most Fwd's require you to use mini coils which don't ride very well. Also most fwd's can't handle the abuse from hydros. My opinion 2 choices: 1 just do airbags or 2 scoop up a rwd car

    Thanks. I been around it along time and all hands on. I've learned the hard way and got to where I'm at now with cars. Having a dependable lowrider is what its about. I don't know everything and theres all kinda ways to do stuff I just share what I can and hope it helps.

    Wouldn’t you need to fiber glass the rear quarter panels too so they don’t buckle from too much 3 wheeling

    • @two_coolers
      @two_coolers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      reinforcement on the frame helps with that. and some cars are a little stronger then others g body's seem to be the worst. fiberglassing would help for sure but proper frame work is the answer to maintain the cars structure

  • @two_coolers

    Sorry but I don't know any way that could be done. problem with fwd cars is the cylinder has to replace the strut. that's why most juiced fwd cars have cylinders inverted on front and run mini coils. besides uni bodies are not structurally strong id be afraid to hop it myself.

    Yo guys, I bought a '64 Impala recently and didn't realize but the frame is bent on it, so I got a new one, blasted and coated it so its like new and I'm having it installed soon, if I were to put hydros in tho, I'm worried I could bend the expensive/rare ass frame lol. Should I get hydros or just get some nice chromed out 22's?

    yes my comment is I have 16 inch cylinders in the back and my rear end when it's all the way down till it's up 45° and when it's all the way up until it's now 45 degrees which constantly is breaking U-joints what I'm trying to eliminate the rear end from rotating 45 degrees up and 45 degrees down could you help me out what can I do to fix my rear end from rotating

    I got a caprice it has the chains the bridge and rearend reinforced and I’m running 16s in the rear but when I try to power 3 it’s on getting like 6” off the ground and it’s on got nine links on the chain should I length it to the 15 links and try it or shorten them but I don’t want to always be changing the lengths to ride and to three

    Your welcome, if your looking to do suspension work on the eldo I deff would consider airbags. You can get direct bolt in kits pretty cheap. Bags may not be what your looking for but if you did juice it it'll pretty much be "lay & play" anyways so you could get the same from bags. Just a thought

    Hey I have a serious question. I have a 79 cadillace eldoroado fwd it has the stock air bags on the rear suspension. I want to convert it to hydraulics. But I really dont know if its possible or rather how difficult it would be and how good fwd cars and hydraulics go together
