youve pretty much perfectly hit the niche of "disney movies that I know I watched because I have vague memories but those memories are so vague that I don't actually remember anything"
Out of all of the movies you talked about, Oliver and Company is my favorite. Partially for nostalgia, partial for the characters, partially for the 80s ness even though I'm a 2000s kid, partially for the music. I love Oliver and Company
Watching this as an adult I always read the scene where they "proposed" as them either A, offering her a home if/when her people kicked her out... Or B, to save her reputation , or C, because.... Well y'all saw they spent the night out where everyone was parking in the park so... They must have just assumed. Whether they were right or wrong will be a question for the ages
Hi Daniel, I recently found your channel and I must say it's seriously underappreciated! Your videos are some of the most entertaining and thoughtful movie reviews and essays I've seen on this site and the editing is top notch. Seriously, keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! That means a lot to me, I've been really trying to improve the quality of my scripts and videos and I'm glad to see it's paying off. And I have some really cool stuff in the works right now, can't wait for you to see it! Glad to have you on board! :)
Great video! Very telling that these are all hangout movies, as that's also the genre that resonated most with me as a kid (Winnie the Pooh, Lady and the Tramp, Bambi, etc.) Funny that studios think kids have no attention span and need a fast-paced plot, when really kids will sit and watch the same film over and over again just to see little atmospheric moments they love.
I have seen The Sword in the Stone, Lady and the Tramp, Oliver & Company, and The Fox and the Hound, but they were way before my time, and therefore, not my childhood stables. I grew up on Ice Age, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
I've said this many times but in my unpopular opinion Amos Slade is one of my most disliked and loathed villains of all time due to his unspeakable crimes in both the film and the novel and gets a karma houdini. Call me biased or whatever but I don't worship or glorify Slade unlike most people who sadly do.
Fox and the Hound? More like E m o t i o n a l d a m a g e. Great video!

If you don't cry at Fox and the Hound, then you are not human. Great Video.

I hope you make another video called "Rewatching Nostalgic Disney Movies P.2."
I may or may not have another batch picked out for exactly that purpose 😉
How was Robin Hood not on the list? The movie that made me (or made me realize) I had feelings for men… foxes
I have two more of these planned for the future, don't worry, I'll get to Robin Hood ;)
How is this channel isn't flooded with views and subscription?
