Rear sprocket is not aligned properly, Chain is fine, just install some extra rubber from a tyre tube and fill it inside the rear sprocket and tyre drum, making sure it has some play, align the rear sprocket. If it still doesn't align, then install washers on rear sprockets screws to align it This is done intentionally by the garage mechanic, so the chain wears fast or makes noise, so they can sell a new Chain sprocket set
Hello sir ! I am also facing the same problem and the company service center has told me to replace the chain wheel and chain to be changed please can you help me .
@@digvijaychougale3770 generally if the chain sprocket teeth are too sharp and the chain is flipping over the sprocket, then there is a need to change the chain, if its length has increase too much. But still one can try to remove the chains One roller link and can drive for 10 K kilometers generally. But overtime the length of chain will keep increasing and it will start coming of the sprocket track Also check your rear sprocket bearing, is it perfect, or it has some play
Thanks for sharing. I have this *exact* issue going on right now, my chain does have about 10k miles on it *but* was taken iff cleaned and adjusted by a mechanic 2k miles ago and he said chain was fine. In the last 2 weeks: 1 mechanic told me to keep driving and adjust every 500 miles and the noise and tight tension should work itself out as the chain loosens up uniformly 2. another mechanic (and the Cycle Gear guy) said replace chain and sprockets @ $320. Ive put 100 miles on it since tgis issue started (started after I adjusted my own tension) and it has quieted down a bit but Im torn on what to do. I baby my bike, a 2017 Kawasaki Z650; ty
Had this on my bike and I think it’s both a chain and sprocket issue. Changed both and found my front sprocket to be almost worn out. Now it runs as smooth as ever.
The O rings wear out and you will have tension throughout the chain on certain portions, and where you have damage links you will have no or extreme tension so you cannot adjust your tension or the slack because the chain is not consistent throughout the link.
When the chain gets tight, that would be the “high point”…. This is usually when the rear sprocket is slightly bent. If you try to tighten the chain, you risk snapping it on load. Change the chain and this should still occur
@@jay_the_sasquatch4207 so weird you made this comment on today of all days, on a comment of mine from 3 years ago, on the day I finally cleaned the chain on my current bike. So weird.
It's almost certainly a chain issue. There's a tight or seized link in there somewhere. It cant bend around the counter sprocket very well so causes the chain the appear tight in that section.

Wow unreal these people really do be messin with bikers -- lesson here, do your own work
The last few hits on the chain felt personal like “make it work dammit”

Was it jolting when cruising at low speed?
If it is, does that indicate that it's a chain issue?@@Glock22Mischief
How many miles did u do on the front sprocket and chain?
i think about 20 000 Km. Should probably change it every 10-15 thousand@@steve00alt70

This is the correct answer
or the sprocket is fkd up
So your saying its a worn out chain? But im having the same issue but my chain is only 1 year old with 800 miles on it. Its basically new

Both Sprockets and chain replacements is what I’m doing right now. I had this. Will Sprocket replacement and correct alignment fix this ?
Wow, that's a crusty chain.
How? You wanna see my dirt bike chain? If this one dirty then God only knows what mine is

Amazing! Thank you. I had just been thinking about this recently
That's not a chain issue. That's a sproket issue. Check to see that your rear sproket is putting even tension all the way around.
Was about to say I brought back a rusty chain and it sounds nice but I gotta oil it more than normal or I’ll hear a sound
Nah thats a chain issue. I have this on my bike and brought it to a mechanic. I've had my chain for 2000km.....
Ive had my chain way too tight
That’s exactly what I was thinking… rear sprocket.

Look at the Manuel and follow instructions on how to tighten chain!!!!
Manuel is my mechanic
… But FIRST the chain must be in good condition. This chain certainly is not.
Had same issue . Straightened the rear sprocket…. No more issue . 👽✌️
Rear sprocket runout variation
It happens when one or both sprockets get 'oval' shaped
there is something wrong at the rear sprocket..
All these comments saying its a frot sprocket, rear sprocket, or chain
Sure!!!!
Spin it the right direction
Mine was the chain
let me gues, yamaha mt 125?
The sprocket is off. Chains fine. Chains don’t do that when they need changing
Yep!!!
Back sprocket bearing mein playe se ata hai
So if it's not like this and they tell me to replace it I can tell them to f off?? 😅
yup
… No. your chain or sprockets may still be in bad condition. Check them yourself first. There are a lot of videos showing what to look for.
Change the air in your tires...... Never put California air in your tires!
*Don't you people know nuthin'?*
… For me, my blinker fluid was too full. After taking some out, all works fine now. ;-)
Lucky i founf this caus i was scared as shit that i broke a gear or some shit
me too 😮😮
😂 He's turning the tire the wrong way that's part of the problem
no
??????
No weight on the bike either 🤷🏼
Depends on the model. Some have you check tension unweighted based on the service manual
Terrible video. 😂
