- Come and join us for day 4 on board the Carnival Mardi Gras for our first ever cruise! In this vlog we check out everything that Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic has to offer. We take a stroll through the shopping area, along with getting some fantastic views of the ship. We then head into the huge pool area at Amber Cove and enjoy the stunning scenery. Following that we head back onto the ship for some karaoke and more live entertainment!

Another nice & good vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to the next. Not got a bad voice Charlotte, good singing. Loved how the member of staff danced with you, was funny and fun to watch. Got a lot of atmosphere on these cruises, aswell on islands your visiting. Making me think about one day experiencing a cruise experience, as it looks really fun 100%. Zipwire looks fun, would ride it maybe? But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward for more videos especially Day 5. Cheers and thanks again. 😀👍

First I want to say, you go Charlotte! Absolutely loved your song and the dancing, very impressive. Wanted to give an unsolicited suggestion about excursions. Knowing how long and very busy this trip has been for you two, maybe when you just go on a cruise alone try giving some of the excursions a go. It's a very good way to really see some of the countries you visit, not just the port. Thank you for taking us along on this wonderful adventure and glad you got a good relax in.

When myself and my brother visited the Isle of Scilly at st Agnes I said to my brother
I will mind the bags while you locate the campsite.
But we soon realised the next day " that you didn't need to stop and mind your bags
like we would of on the mainland .
Because nobody takes them because it's just a little island they can't go nowhere .
Yes, adding a Tiki Room-themed bar to the British Theme Park Museum-but you still might have to declare all those birds

if you come back to Amber Cove, I recommend heading into Puerto Plata to see some of the history. The locals are pretty friendly too and charge generally lower prices than the port area.
We’ll have to check that out next time!

I also loved amber cove. Ill be stopping there on the mardis gras in November. We have a pool side cabana with a large group. Loving the cruise content and I look forward to you guys doing a Disney cruise.

Firstly what a great effort from Charlotte singing a difficult Whitney song. Very impressive and certainly got the audience joining in.
Amber Cove was another lovely destination to stop at. Crystal clear water once again. Great shopping options (which my wife would have loved) and so closed to the ship. Lovely free pool area to relax in and a zip line for your braver shipmates. Stunning views of the island as you climbed higher. I have to agree that your Rock show was probably the weakest of the cruise so far.
🤩 Thank you 🙏 so much for taking us on a virtual tour of Amber Cove, it’s so lovely beautifully tranquility place with so many hidden unspoilt places beaches only designed for Cruise members, blimey Shawn 🤩 that’s not too bad just under £1000 for the both of you considering everything is included with a few up charges here and there, loving 🥰 this vlog but omg 😱 WOH! WOH! WOH! Loving your Florida series on both channels! Did you feel as though you got an authentic experience at the different ports, or more like it was manufactured to relieve tourists of their money?!
Nassau was very authentic, especially outside of the port area!
Could I ask - so far, it doesn't seem like you went to the main dining room for dinner? Why is that? I am an avid cruiser and it feels like you're missing out on some typically pretty nice food.
We’re not huge foodies at all (and quite fussy!) so we stuck to the buffets and quick service options this time.
