I'm new to your channel but I must thank you both for the huge lift to my spirit that I experience while watching your videos and hearing your happy and friendly voices. It good to see that these difficult times haven't dampened everyone's spirit. I hope that your channel continues to grow and your videos continue to put smiles on the faces of people everywhere. You are both just lovely. ♥
Looks a great vibrant city and those cable car trams are so historic and wonderful. Always reminds of all those Clint Eastwood movies and that tv series The Street Of San Francisco. Beautiful old buildings too.
San Francisco and Paris are my favorite cities. My family enjoyed Pier 39 and Alcatraz. The Aqaurim on the Bay is great. Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge is incredible.
You passed my old apartment building when you were on the cable car! I no longer live in the city but I was born and raised there and still love it. I'm so glad you two love it, too! It truly is a beautiful city.
Loved your video, we went years ago and fell in love with San Francisco so it was great to remind ourselves. Such an atmosphere there, glad you enjoyed it!
looks like a really nice place with lovely scenery. today has been an awful day for me at school I literally had to storm out of English because one of my classmates was being just incredibly rude and awful to me the worse, he has ever been. I just couldn't Handel it. This whole year since school started back, I have just felt left out of everything and sometimes feel forgotten by my friends. like in music today everyone got in groups and just left me to work on my own and what made it worse is some people where in groups of 3 but nobody offered to work with me. every day I come home looking forward to your videos on both of your channels thank you so much .
Visited SF back in 2005. Loved it there! Weirdly, there was only one fat seal at Fishermans Wharf (I can't remember why) I guess we were unlucky that day! 😀 Also, when we went to Alcatraz someone told us to not stop for the talk, just head straight in. We did and walked most of it on our own with our headphones, which was lovely, until we caught up with the group ahead of us. We than listened to the talk before getting on the boat back to the city.
Seeing the joy on Shawn's face riding the trolley totally made my entire weekend. Great video, and the perfect compliment to the magic mountain vlog I watched on theme park worldwide tonight also.
I am following your trip and look forward to every video. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience.😊😊 Didn't think you would see a tram from home😂😂😂
Hello my darlings omg I am so jealous everything looks amazing love the cable cars eb Enjoyed your alcatraz film and watching all the others living your best life thankyou for sharing can't believe the tram lol xx
Loving your tour of CA, especially of Northern CA. I'm happy that you got to see and enjoy my hometown of SF. While you were riding the cable car, I even saw my old work office in the vlog LOL. I haven't been into the city in a while; but your video makes me want to visit soon. Keep up the awesome work!!!
My home city, they used to have that giant ferris wheel down in the park on the other side of town for a few years and nobody really rode it much. Anyways glad you had a great time . Some politicians say it's ruined or not a nice place dont believe the hype, sf is good fun! Best old timey arcade ever, and the in-n- out burger is down there and delicious
My home city as well. Always a great place. You are so correct about the politicians and their followers who trash it. So not true. Such a wonderful and unique city.
Excellent video Charlotte and Shawn Sanbrooke from San Francisco! We explore the amazing Pier 39, home to a variety of shops, restaurants and awesome views. We then head down into Fisherman's Wharf for an explore around the area, before heading to the Cable Car turn around station. We then ride the historic Cable Car around the streets of San Francisco! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Charlotte and Shawn Sanbrooke.😃😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You two are adorable on the cable car. I live a half hour from SF and visited regularly as a teen. Now, I take it all for granted. It's so interesting to see it from your perspective!
I visited San Francisco in 1989 just 3 months before the earthquake, phew! You should have gone up the Coit Tower which has some of the best views in San Francisco in my opinion. Also Lombard Street, the windiest street, fantastic. I loved the cable car too and pier 39. All these years later I still say I'd love to go back.
Oh I love San Francisco! We have been trying to visit for months, but things keep getting in the way. I'm sad to see that great Madame Trousseaus closed! I really wanted to see it one more time. Haven't been on a cable car in years as it's always too crowded, but it is better when you go mid-week as you did. Thanks for sharing. :)
Wow it’s so cool worker push cable car 🚠 turn around way and very nice view ❤ I not know everything in San Francisco CA, don’t live in CA. I’m live in NC USA. Thank you sharing your video so wonderful 🤯
That was a great vlog and a nice tour true San Francisco, would love to do that. it’s a beautiful city. Surprised you stil just can hang on the outside of the cable cars knowing you have safety rules on themepark rides that are over the top over there. Looked like an amazing experience.
Great video. I have always wanted to ride the cable cars in San Francisco, and for $8 one way, that is a great price. I also love that you have the different routes you can do. Going to Alcatraz is also on my list. Very informative video. Great job
The Sales Force Transit Center (locals will call it the Transbay Transit Center) does have a train box for Caltrain and CAHSR, but the current main station is at grade, so they need to bury the tracks in order to make Transbay truly intermodal. It actually has a chairlift to a green space that’s sometimes open
I went to this area last summer and hit the same places you've hit on your trip. However I was real sad about "Fisherman's Wharf". The last time I was there, it was an actual wharf with the fish markets and stands where they make the food fresh. So last year when I got to the famous sign I said, "Universal Studios Orlando's wharf looks better" 😞 Everything was so gentrified now with shopping, but I did find a place to get some clam chowder. Thanks for the update!
Blackpool wants a nice modern light rail system. The E (“temporarily suspended”) and F are meant to be heritage services. J-N and T are used for the modern tram services (although the L, which runs to the zoo, has been a bus for the past few years because of track work. Just missed that route’s return to tram services)
It’s a shame the Merlin midway attractions have closed down, I’ve no idea why either and not heard about them closing, I did them both and they were very good
San Francisco has certainly changed. We drove down Lombard street (the zig zag road) which was fun. Cant remember if we went on a trolley or not….it was a very long time ago
Not San Francisco related, but the penny arcade next to Merrivale model village in Great Yarmouth is well worth a visit if you like the history side of things. Loving this series!
The (tram) streetcar system along The waterfront actually uses a lot of trolleys donated from other cities such as Boston, San Diego, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, And blackpool. Although it looks old, It is actually a relatively New public transit route as it was built in 1992 and replaced the triple Deck freeway that previously was in front of the bay that collapsed during the 1989 Loma prieta earthquake which was a magnitude 6.9
As you like the old machines you must visit the old penny arcade museum in Great Yarmouth over 100 machines to play free entry just buy reel old pennys to play
The full house home is also in San Francisco. It’s on Broderick street about a mile from the painted ladies. It’s not exactly cheap to live there either. The house last sold for close to 2 million US. Actually most apartments and homes cost close to that in San Francisco because the city is fast becoming a tech hub and engineers are willing to pay up the nose for a place. It unfortunately drives up prices astronomically.

Me and my father were here 7 years ago to see The Wiggles. Speaking of which, have either of you ever explored any of the Wiggles themed sections in theme parks that may still exist out there?
If you check out Jacob the Carpetbaggers video titled The world's scariest dark ride at the Kansas state fair and fast forward to 13.30 minutes there's an awesome and very scary looking dark water ride which is well over 100 years old. It only opens when the state fair takes place. I only mention it because in the area where you board is the same skeleton you have in your back yard!
@@TheSanbrookeAdventures I’m glad but I was so nervous for you walking around McArthur station at night. I love Oakland (live in East Bay) but one never recommends SF visitors staying there for safety reasons. Anyway, delighted by your delight in San Francisco and life in general 😻
