This is definitely the life for me, I’m very tempted to book one of these cruises next year. I love the fact that you’re constantly on the move yet you have your accommodation, entertainment, cafe bars, restaurants, cinema, shops all with you while you travel and see the world, and what a beautiful part of the world it is too. Fabulous vlog Sanbrooke crew.

Thank you for being yourselves. It’s great to see you keep true to yourselves by eating in the quick serve and buffet and not doing the main dining rooms. Next time you cruise you might try it one night. Keep being yourselves you’re doing a great job.

Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow amazing place just beautiful. Paradise is the word . Fantastic vlog thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Another great video! The ports looked beautiful. Looked like you both had so much fun on the ship. Charlotte - your jacket potatoes with mac & cheese dinner was perfect. I would happily have the same meal! 😊
Sunburn isn’t pleasant, especially when you dock at your hottest destination so far. No wonder Charlotte had a towel wrapped round her and retired back to your stateroom. Once again, another great location with everything minutes from the ship. I did like the Grand Turk hoodie. More great photo opportunities with the ship in the background. Great pool area. It was a lovely walking tour Shawn took us on. Charlotte’s kebab was my kind of food, as was Shawn’s slice of cheesecake. 😂 Lovely sunset as you walked around the deck. With the ship rolling you certainly didn’t need a wave machine in the pool. It did look so relaxing as was the hot tub. Great open deck disco to end the day with. Can’t wait for the final part now.
I recon two certain individuals have the cruise bug! 😁💗 My parents worked hard all their lives, they really wanted to go on a cruise but sadly never made it. Cruises never appealed to me until the last few years & that’s mostly because I’m disabled. I like the thought of everything being on board, food, your room, entertainment, pool, plus the option of getting off a few times to explore. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to save my pennies to go on one! I mostly worry about the sea sickness to be fair, although I loved the fact you had a natural wave pool all to yourselves lol. Can’t wait for the next vlog, although I’ll be sad to see them end! X
We love seeing your vlogs, Charl we loved your karaoke and watching you enjoy yourself. We have a lot in common, i love karaoke and my partner does Karaoke 4-9 Sundays at The Vine in Silverdale so next time you are in Stoke come join us would be lovely to see you both. Chris & Michelle
Well impressed with the two Bahamian islands. Great to see you two's enjoying yourselves again. Might wanna weigh yourselves before and after for a giggle, bet you've both put a stone on !! Lol
In one of your previous videos you mentioned that on future cruises you would remove automatic gratuities because you don’t dine in the main dining room. In most cruise lines the tips are pooled and shared among all the staff, not just the main dining room servers. The majority of people working on that ship are doing so in places besides the main dining room and some of them you don’t even see. That includes the people who made all of those towel animals that they lined the pool deck with. They work hard to make your vacation fun, and tipping is a way to show your appreciation for that. They already receive low salaries because it is expected that they will receive tips to supplement that. Even though tipping may not be a typical thing in the UK, it is in other places in the world, and that includes cruise ships. Follow the “when in Rome” approach and don’t be the type of tourist that the locals talk about when you leave…
I don't think tipping should be necessary when paying thousands of pounds for a cruise, it's the company's responsibility to give the staff a respectable wage considering the millions they take in on a weekly basis
@@coolguy83852 the companies get around paying a decent wage by specifically registering their boats in countries that do not have high minimum wages. This is why there’s only one cruise ship flying the US flag and it is very expensive to sail on and yet struggles with profitability. And your argument is exactly the same one people use when they stiff waiters tips when they travel to the US. “The restaurant should just pay a living wage”. Ok, I agree, but they aren’t required to, so they don’t, and it is customary and expected to tip to make up that difference. Some restaurants in touristy cities like Orlando add on a mandatory service fee to the bill specifically because of British and other European tourists deciding that they don’t want to tip. If you don’t want your country to have the reputation of being cheap, then don’t pull crap like this.
@@Lderuddere so that's our job as an average citizen to subsidize poor wages due to greedy companies and messed up governments that allow stupid wage systems
@@coolguy83852 the cruise line is getting their money either way, the only guy you are screwing is the staff members you decided you were too cheap to tip. It should be pretty obvious that the workers are not paid well, because in most cases you can find cruises that are much cheaper than if you priced a similar itinerary on land with hotels/food/entertainment. That savings has to come from somewhere, which is why you mostly see workers from places like the Philippines. You can try to push for change within the industry either by pushing for legislation on fair wages or “protesting” by not providing the cruise line your money by not booking until they pay more, but if you do decide to cruise, don’t be that guy who removes the auto gratuity.
18:52 Shawn and Charlotte you may have persuaded me to invest in some crocs and I love how much variety there is in the charms that can go on them I may get some for summer and winter fleece lined

Excellent video Charlotte and Shawn from on board the Carnival Mardi Gras for our first-ever cruise! In this vlog, we check out everything that Grand Turk on the Turks and Caicos Islands has to offer. We walk through the shopping area, along with checking out the fantastic facilities available. We also take a look at the pool area and take a stroll along the spectacular beach. They say a Mediterranean cruise is more interesting than the Carribean. This is due to the countries and Cities/ports around the Med', with the different cultures and architecture. Where as the Carribean islands are more similar.

Thanks for your feedback, however as this was our holiday we wanted to do what we wanted to do 😉 With us having a busy trip visiting theme parks over on our other channel, we loved relaxing and enjoying the port areas!
I disagree, I think cruise excursions are a waste of money and time. They are also stressful when you have to get on a bus and travel for hours away from the ship. I loved seeing exactly what they showed. Also, it’s their trip and their channel. There are literally hundreds of channels that show the excursions.
Aha, a cruise that doesn’t really see places… brilliant! Surely defeats the object of a cruise’s sense of adventure, you don’t have to be tied to the ship all the time, and public transport is easy most places if you plan accordingly. Anyway, of course they’re happy and have endless trips funded by TH-cam, so can do content on the cheap (even mentioning the “free gifts”!), but I just think it’s not reflective of the rounded activities a cruise can bring that’s all.
