Me and my sister shared a 50cc quad since I was like 3 years old (she's 5 years older.) That was the best thing I've ever had. It was pretty small, fast, loud and it scared the ever living crap out of my friends when it kicked in. Then the fuel line broke, and parents just ditched him in the garage. After I bugged them for 7+ years, they decided to finally fix it. I was the happiest kid in the world for a few months. And then they sold it for 50Eur. God knows how mad I still am at them that they never let any of my hobbies come to fruition, and got pissed when pc was the only thing I spent my time with. I also wanted a pit bike, but they thought I'd look (too stupid) on it. Guess what? I'm 19 now, and discovering your channel inspired me to start the hobby I was not allowed as a kid. I'm getting myself an enduro that I will work on and enjoy through and thorough.
dude I was sworn off anything with 2 wheels as a kid. I am 33 and now have been fully rebuilding a Yamaha QT50 with adult money and absolutely loving it. cant wait for it to start running :D the motor build is worth more than the bike 3 fold haha. Do it! Heck I remember when my mom said to stop doing down hill longboarding, some of the best times of my life were spent on hills in my college years pushing limits. have fun, be safe, think, and enjoy!
The original carb has no idle jet, you should ajust the ignision timing, that will fix it These engines also never blow up because of heat, although the polini is fast, if you want to make it more relaiable, you should put an airsal kit on it.
Love that thing! Glad you good man. Even the disk brake front ends that come on the Tomos Revival and Streetmate are non-hydraulic and are prone to having this issue. The design sketched me out as soon as I saw it so I hit up Treats for a 30mm hydro EBR setup. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Hey,you should buy Yugoslav(Slovenian) moped named TOMOS Automatic A3,its a simple 2 stroke 50cc with 2 automatic gears.I have one its reliable and pretty fast for stock 37mph(60kmh),i hope you get one!
If you want a cross moped or make it for tricks and whatever you should really buy tomos apn they are so tunable you can do anything with it , it has 4 manual gears and you can buy a 5 gear pyramid. It would be so fun to watch you with tomos
I used to ride a 1980 Suzuki GT50 5 speed when I was 16. These were officialy mopeds because of the 50cc capacity, but looked more like a small-scale motorcycle. These were mainly for the European market, but were also sold in my country (Suriname, South America). If - by any chance- you can get your hands on one of these you will not be disappointed. My friends and I could get the bikes up to at least 55mph in their stock form. with a 70cc cylinder andbigger carb, better exhaust these babies could really fly.
I'm happy that you are OK. I know you'll fix those "forks". Great video, great riding. 👍👌I have this Polini kit on my moped. I know one thing. At least basic big enough resonance exhaust will pull much more power from this kit and make it run less hot.

There's some modifications you could do and some parts you could do like some new front forks that are stronger or I think you could also get some Honda pit bike forks or Kawasaki once
The pivot shaft inside drum brakes on bikes should be greased so they don't hang up! Also on the outside of the housing where the pivot shaft comes out, the splind end put an o- ring there to keep dirt from mixing in with the grease this way you don't have to take them apart every ride when they stsrt to hang up. At least thats what i have always done and ive had 20 bikes big bore 500's down to 50cc bikes and it worked good for me!
Oh boy. You're better and better from video to video. The songs, the images I love 😍 And the best, always with 2 strokes old school mopeds Nice 👌 Sorry for my english
I used to have a 1979 jr50 that I had gotten from a yard sale for 150$ while I was on my way to a local swap meet about 10yrs ago and I had found an way to make it an actual semi automatic with out having to swap the engine using a 2 speed conversion kit that I had found off google that is no longer made( and I also had it bored to a 66cc ) it was faster than my z50 which was also big bored with all billet internals I will say I do really regret selling both of them because of how fun and rare they were and being that I did buy both of them the same day for the same exact price as one another

Thanks for the kind words! Love your content too 🤝
I love your bike, kincade!
nice video! i think it needs an expansion chamber exhaust and a better clutch though
Yea I agree bro it needs some improvements
the clutch is most likely designed to kick in so late to give it more power

20mm carb seems a bit large for a 65cc with this power level? When the carb is too big you lose low end torque. Have any smaller carbs laying around?
20mm carb is recomended for the 65cc cylinder. The pipe is the biggest restriction
20mm should be just the right size for 65cc
Clutch slipping like that will heat crank up fast
Have you ever heard of Casal, Macal ou Famel they were all moped manufactuers in Portugal

I’m curious, what’s the most challenging part you’ve faced while revamping the bike?
