The idle screw is on the left side of the carb under the black plastic, take off the plug and youll be able to adjust the idle. If if bogs and you have to ease into the throttle, it means the engine is not getting enough air to burn all of the gas in the cylinder, adjust the mixture and itll run better. Edit: these chinese engines are built under license and contract with Yamaha and Honda, so parts are plenty and interchangeable. Only problem would be shoddy part quality, but you can replace them with higher quality aftermarket ones
I heard about this when I got my ssr 125 and didn’t listen. I did the full 6 hour break in on the shipping oil, then changed it and the engine is still in great shape (I got it new back in 2017 and put alot of use on it), though I wouldn’t do it again
Dude these Chinese engines are great u can put a side plate onto the head and fit a oil cooler on them also fit a cheep Chinese carb on it you’ll get one from marketplace also u might want to know that there is another a 170cc pitbike on the go just now think it’s made by RFX the engines are on marketplace they plop straight into that bike should b a machine if you do that and put on the forks and swim arm from a road 125 we did it and it turned out great
I have the Xpro Templar X and I love it. Got it in February. Put shinko 705s and a bunch of other upgrades. She's got 2500 miles and no major problems. My bike was bigger and the frame was ever more smashed 😂
The carb fuel adjustment screw should be in the front bottom center of the carb, under it, where you cant see it. I had a db19 amazon bike with the same carb. I sold it after a couple months and got a crf250. It was a good 1st bike to teach you about bikes. Used honda is always way better.
Are you sure there isn't an idle screw? I think that little black cap looking thing on the side of the carb shown at 12:37 might be covering it. If you get a pick under that thing, that might be your ticket.

You can back out the adjustment for the throttle and you can tune idle that way👌
