The welder, use more heat and slow down the wire feed a little. Yopu need more penatration in the welds. The weld should look more dished than the raised bead. Get a Magnesium plate (Sparks) for the wheelie dragging. You want more RPM then increase rear sprocket size.
I’m not a great welder. But metal I pick up on pretty easy. That angle iron u could cut the sections out u want for flat stalk. And make it all one unit. Cut your pieces at 45 to make a 90. I think ya didn’t pretty well. I’ve only got down welding mufflers. So your doing better than I am 😂 thing it’s pretty cool. I give it to all of us who ride small bikes and make them wheelie. Doing the impossible. I stunted out a gs500 bud. People think I’m crazy and ask me all the time how I do. Know how buddy.
@@TwoStrokeJ Were you using ATF with the CLAW shoes? Stock needs it but as soon as the bike heatsoaks the type F turns to water and you get no slip. Full synth 10w30 is probably best for slip (and engine wear) or CTF-R if you want super grabby race fluid. I do 4oz 10w30 1.75oz CTF-R and it screams. Sweet ass build, love the front and rear disks + powerdynamo, no expenses spared.
a suggestion to the power problem, based on my own experience, would be the gaskets leaving the piston too far from the cylinder head at TDC, sometimes the gaskets they send you are ironically too fat, the exhaust you have could also create a weird powerloss, due to it being a large exhaust on a bike with a crank and port setup for low-mid range power, definitely check for air leaks at the reed valve, the gaskets there are annoyingly often not good for the puch tuning parts, the channel "Puch Praxis" is german but has extremely many videos (with English subtitles) that are super valuable to anyone who wants a maxi 1 or 2 speed that can rock 50mph reliably. personally I've had a few maxis and other old mopeds, the best results I've seen on a maxi was 65cc polini mixed with a swiing cigar exhaust, 15mm carburetor and some offbrand electronic ignition, ran 45mph on a dyno with 6.5hp

well if you want more power a inner rotor ignition would help alot, trust me im danish. not that there is not more then that you could do, but its a good starting point (other ting you should/could adjust are: the Needell and jets, the ports in the cylinder, get the right squish, flow optimizing the block, stuff like that you know😁)
@@catte7760 Powerdynamo is probably hands down one of the best ignitions you can buy for E50/ZA50. HPI minirotor is good but known to be failure prone (once it goes kaput the whole stator is toast). Treats wicked curve is probably a better alternative to HPI especially given it uses the Parmakit box (more "practical" timing curve), and you can run DC power with the regulator they provide.

You used to be able to have up to 1000w with throttle that only gives asist up to 25km/h but i checked a few days ago and that does not seem to be legal anymore which is anoying, sins the motor I bought cost me like 5k sek.🤦♂️

2 Things: a sandblast cabinet from HF will pay for itself in a few projects. Secondly they sell naked crimp connects, which along with some glue filled marine heat shrink, is the best of all worlds. It's what they gave us for factory harness repairs as a Ford dealer mechanic.
I have two original mopeds from Peugeot and Motobecane. The best way to get power is to put a racing centrifugal clutch on it in both 75cc, and 99cc setups water-cooled or air-cooled. Also run the original throttle they work amazing
double check your timing and spray down for air leaks. 16x44 with a treats reed, proma and powerdynamo should be HITTING hard at like 4k. Sounds a little lean to me. What temps are you hitting?
Only thing I would have done differently is use black zip ties and i definitely would have ridden it longer than anyone lol awesome video and awesome bike thanks for sharing 😊

For now i've done a 86 cc kit, bigger carb, clutch bell and weights(Polini), clutch springs (Malossi) and digital dashboard. Stock it does 35 mph, modified 67 mph which for mi is enough

Hey when your spray painting spray off the side of object then walk the sprayer to the object your working on and keep walking it until your off the object and then stop spraying. This will help you get less dripping and runs. Also those welds are realy good just keep practicing you will get very good at it also whatch videos on welding it will help.
idk why but it seems like the speedometer is the most fun part on a vehicle for me, if i dont see one its like all the life is sucked out of it JUST because i cant see how fast im going xD
where i'm from (Denmark), my buddies and i started riding these bikes at 14 not specifically puch but mopeds in general, they are very fun on group rides and small road trips. One of my buddies had kinda the same problem with the rpm, his bike didnt get enough fuel
What you need is a KTM SX50 clutch set adapted for puch. Or a 3 claw atleast. The stock (even the ''upgraded'' ones are garbage) Like the look of the puch, that classic brown color is perfect! Greetings from The Netherlands. 😎

Check the timing. Might just be the spark occuring at the wrong time? Might aswell be a carb issue. If you run it WOT you should see the temp rising if timing/jetting is wrong. Good work with the moped so far and good luck sorting out the RPM limiting problem
The problem with the RPM's is 100% your clutch. The clutch wont engage properly because it is way too tight/hard. So put in some lighter springs. And then adjust them. If this doesnt work then try to buy a 3 armed clutch. I had the same problem as you and then i did this and now it is working very well :)
Give motorized bikes a try lmao. You can try a 70cc athena sport that turns up to 12 to 13k rpm and easily hit 55mph+ close to 60 maybe more. I have some videos on that. So many things you can do!

I think you need to choose a leaner main jet. If the Spark plug is already dark Brown, then try to set your egnitiona bit later. If anyone has any other tips, please comment. :) following you since 2 years, love your content
I myself have a puch maxi, all original and it hits about 30mph. and you have a 70cc, yours can go much faster if you tune it right 👍i think you can make it!
this is not to judge, just to help you next time you weld. the spot where youre welding, needs to be cleaned so its clean metal you weld on, and try going in circles when welding😊😊
I’m 16 and recently put a 70cc kit on and I had your same problem only going 32 , try going up on your jet size in your carb bro I did that and added 15mph to my top speed. I went from 52 to 74 main jet it makes a huge difference try it bro I would love to see more vids of the moped!

Just as a advice, buy a 3 jaw clutch (HK or DMP), then a better exhaust with a 28mm manifold (personally I rate some homoet p6, a cigar exhaust or a MLM) for your setup. Good luck and best regards from Switzerland✌🏻

It seems you have a Proma CC 25mm exhaust. E50 70cc kit engines tend to run better on 28mm pipes. I would suggest trying a Homoet p6, or a Technigas Next. These exhausts pull a little slower, but tend to have higher RPM's. Might want to play with your gearing aswell. Hope this info helps you! Love your vids on the Maxi.
Go buy a set of black zip ties you will appreciate the final product and finish plus it compliments your painted covers

That exhaust is 100% the issue. The tail of that pipe is like breathing trough a straw.

try a bigger jet in the Carburetor or try move the needle.
After seeing where your at with it. Add heavier ball bearings to the clutch they should travel farther allowing you into the 60mph range

Try upjetting until it 4strokes then go back until it stops. After that adjust rear sprocket

I myself have a puch maxi, all original and it hits about 30mph. and you have a 70cc, yours can go much faster if you tune it right 👍i think you can make it!
its not all original i think: 50cc 12mm carb 12 in front and 45 in back

this is not to judge, just to help you next time you weld. the spot where youre welding, needs to be cleaned so its clean metal you weld on, and try going in circles when welding😊😊
I’m 16 and recently put a 70cc kit on and I had your same problem only going 32 , try going up on your jet size in your carb bro I did that and added 15mph to my top speed. I went from 52 to 74 main jet it makes a huge difference try it bro I would love to see more vids of the moped!
an electronic ignition would definitely help it rev more with no rev limiter and pick up speed faster 🙂
it has one man! The power dynamo ignition is electronic, its just not an inner rotor

Just as a advice, buy a 3 jaw clutch (HK or DMP), then a better exhaust with a 28mm manifold (personally I rate some homoet p6, a cigar exhaust or a MLM) for your setup.

It seems you have a Proma CC 25mm exhaust. E50 70cc kit engines tend to run better on 28mm pipes. I would suggest trying a Homoet p6, or a Technigas Next. These exhausts pull a little slower, but tend to have higher RPM's. Might want to play with your gearing aswell. Hope this info helps you! Love your vids on the Maxi.
