Moped is a short version of Motorised pedal cycle, it MUST have pedals.
In the same way that you MUST obey the speed limit
@@TwoStrokeJ Not quite the same, it must have pedals to be called a moped, if you take them off, it is then a motor cycle.
most mopeds here in finland and many other european countries are 50cc supermotos and scooters
yea there are basically NONE of those in the US. I used to have a dt50 though
if you can put pedals on it you can put an ebike kit on it...
you should build a motorized bike its basically a moped but cheaper, many scooter and moped parts can be used and there are 2 and 4 stroke engines that can be used
that would be super fun to do honestly. Once I can have a full shop and tools I might try that out
well my tomos doesnt have pedals although the earlyer tomos automatics had pedals the later models didnt have them
Yea it’s weird almost all mopeds in America have them
I have an Emo-ped or electric bike. haha
here in Denmark, most of us grew up with mopeds, and we had a father or uncle who taught us how to make them work :)
Guess that’s gunna be me with my future son haha
