Man.... That is a project right there. literally stuffing 5 pounds into a one pound bag in the front of that thing. I just did my first truck, a Grand Hauler, and that thing took me a while... this truly would be a 'winter project' type of build. Well besides all the stinky painting. Looks awesome and it has to weigh a ton!
That is beautiful all those lights look amazing. See all that wiring bet it was fiddly putting them all in and getting them neatly tucked in. Awesome video thank you for making it.
Lovely model, nice paint scheme as well. Where you routed the cables from the lights is about where the wiring looms goes from the cap into the chassis on the real thing lol. Pity Tamiya didn't model the "V" lights which are a cool feature of the FH16.
Great work Bob. Why did you not paint the Black on the Front light lenses - The Front Lights - and the mount/end of the roof light bar. I think the lights look better painted Black inside.
I'm sure I've commented on this Video before.... But WOW! 👍👍🍻 Now I'm almost thinking about the MFC-03.... Just because this is my first Big Rig, and it may be complex with the Wiring (but wouldn't ANY Rig be a Bowl of Spaghetti?) 😲 It's at least got more Features than the MFC-01. Do you have any MFC-03s in stock??? They seem to be hard to find and Evilbay at least, is selling them for WELL ABOVE Retail. 😠😠 Still very interested in the Beier USM-2.... Probably my second Rig. ..... Unless I just can't get a MFC-03. Oh, and DEFINITELY a few of those Channel Light Switches!! I'll want at least 5 to start.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC It's quite a bit more.... But until I get familiar with HOW those miles of Wiring actually interact - and how the features WORK, it might be better value in the long run. I'm also ordering extra LEDs... And at least a Box Trailer at the same time, so it's going to be quite a bit to swallow. But I'm still excited to do it!! 😊
Hi Bob it’s looking fantastic. Thanks for showing how to add the additional lights, but if you wanted to have them just come on with the rest of the truck lights is it possible to splice into the mfc wires or would this be too much load for the mfc?
Yes, I do dash lights that way a lot and use an open space in the MFC. I just wanted to have a separate light switch for these that is where the electronic switch is nice.
Bob ,2 questions please. Why do the Tamiya supplied leds have no resistors at the bulb? And the roof lights you run to the electronic switch ,could you not connect this to the wiring for the roof bar lights so all will come on at once?
Hi Bob, I really love your builds. What kind of material did you use to cover the speaker and the MFC? Is it plastic or carton? Where do you take it from?
Hello. About the cab not tilting check this piece out. www.rcbrmin.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_105&products_id=1892 Its made by lesu.
In that upper panel, you put small red and white LED's. Red really isn't an appropriate color. They are not allowed on the front of vehicles unless used by emergency vehicles as an emergency flashing indicator. And I don't think they would both be on at the same time. I think you should have made the red amber instead.
🤩 WOW!!! You are taking this 10-star truck to an ELEVEN! The front end looks incredible. Can’t wait to see how it looks when you wrap it up.
There is a lot of truck left to build. The little details you add really make the truck look great, and I'm glad you went red and not yellow.

Truck is really impressive. Added lights / attention to detail really takes it to the next level. Nicely done 👍🏼
As always your work is awesome. I especially like the dash lighting, it adds to the realism.
wov, very nice work
Love watch your videos. I enjoy watching them and just a quick one the black vent that comes up the left side is the air intake not the exsught
real real good Bob , I could not find part 5 of the build
Thank you for watching! Here is part 5: th-cam.com/video/FnxQjSWw8P0/w-d-xo.html

Loving this build
Good work bob, really detailed build & it's looking good. You can never have enough lights 👍
Perfect....like you usualy do everything!
That's a complex build you're doing an amazing job can't wait to see it finnished I like the extra details and the FDNY theme 😎👍
Truly enjoyed!
Looking good. I like the optional interior lighting you've did!
Super cool. Keep up the great work it is looking great.
Awesome work. Thanks for all the infomation.
Last night I put together a set of Crawler Real Beadlocks... They were tiny screws also. To have eyes like a 25 y/o again😎
No kidding!!
Only one word...excellent!! 👏👌🙌
Nice job
nice man
You should make strobe lights too.

I want lots of chrome on this one.

nice video again Bob, what did you mask it with before you painted the black over the red ?
Tamiya masking tape
Thank You Bob
Bob ,2 questions please. Why do the Tamiya supplied leds have no resistors at the bulb? And the roof lights you run to the electronic switch ,could you not connect this to the wiring for the roof bar lights so all will come on at once?
The Tamiya MFC has the resistors built into the unit. I could have connected the roof lights to the MFC but wanted them on the separate switch.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Is connecting to the mfc safe, would you need the resistors fitted OR will the MFC take the added lights ok?
Hi Bob, I really love your builds. What kind of material did you use to cover the speaker and the MFC? Is it plastic or carton? Where do you take it from?
I use thin plastic card stock. Actually I have a stack of old advertising signs I cut up and use.
Kde sa dajú kúpiť také Rc modely??ďakujem za odpoveď.
That black thing, in the back left corner of the cab, isn't exhaust, it's engine air intake.
Good catch. I am so used to King & Grand Haulers I slip up :-)
Wo kann man denn diese Modelle erwerben?
Got to be easy in Germany. Check at your local hobby store.
Why didn't you put speaker on inside main cab to hide speaker?
The speaker is hidden up in the roof. No room for it anywhere else and still get an interior in.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC that is why I asked i didn't know
Exhaust is not an exhaust, its an airintake.
R u willing to sell it
This one is already sold but I can build you one. If interested just email me for details. My email is in the description.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC yes i would like one how much would it be an i can i send u the money

Why you skipped painting process? I hate that.
Would have made the video to long, that is why I did a separate paining video.
