So I just wanted to mention the waterproofness of the cover. I noticed in a video from Our Cyber Life's channel where they also sprayed it by a hose and also had leaking where the cover meets the roof. I appreciate you measuring the overhang because that was what I was curious about when it comes to making the bed waterproof. Due to the angle of the roof, continuing down over the cover, light to moderate rain shouldn't enter the bed. However, the overhang ends quite close to the top of the cover when closed and water would only need to travel a couple of inches before it would leak into the bed. This could happen during heavier rain with some wind, and it is probably the reason you experienced leaks with the hose (if you angled the water up under that overhang). So I suspect the bed is waterproof to rain, but if you are hosing it down or taking it through a carwash, don't keep anything in the bed that you don't want getting wet. I'm actually somewhat curious if Tesla put anything additional to limit the amount of water getting through that area. Obviously angling a hose or pressure washer there will always leak, but if Tesla made the last piece of the cover a different shape, or possibly weather stripping that would partially seal it against the roof, I would be very very happy with it. If you get curious about this too, you might be able to open the cover a crack and see the last piece of the cover through the window from the back seat.
You probably won't do it but I want to see someone haul a load of gravel or at the very least dirt on the back. I'm curious how easy the scoop of the front loader can access the bed, as well as whether the CT can accomodate a full scoop or half a scoop. My dad's Tacoma can only take a half bucket scoop before it looks like its back is going to break. Also, gravel and dirt is super heavy and I would like a detailed description of how the CT handles when hauling that heavy of a load. How the self leveling is, etc.
There’s Cybertruck branding in the form of the front door window’s being shaped like the Cybertruck when you open the door and the window goes slightly up.
I'm a HUGE EV fan and have been looking for non BS coverage on the CT by a real owner. To date I had only found "our cyber life", it looks like you will be a much better fit for what I'm looking for. Thanks sub #492.
Can I ask what the measurement in the back seat from door to door? For van life or road trips I need to be able to lay straight for comfort. I don't wish to put a tent up in the box for Walmart camping ha. That sucks the bed not waterproof, I mean I would think that be the purpose of it. I was hoping the mid wall would go down to connect the box to cab, maybe future models.
Howdy, thank you! It currently does not have autopilot or full self driving. Vehicle says it will be added in a future update. It does have adaptive cruise control!
0:27 and 0:41 are you accepting that build quality (of A/B pillars) in a $100k car? I could not catch corrosion spots/frecles on any other stainless steel panels than the frunck. However, lot of these influencer Cybertrucs are nowadays washed just before the video, which makes it more difficult to analyse. Anyways, this has to be one of the cleanest Cybertruck around. But you can not do the much to those fingerprints or to the panel press imprints near the edges of certain panels. Driver side back door seemed to need minor realignment.
Just a geometry pet peeve of mine, everyone keeps saying the rear doors open 90 degrees. They do NOT. It's barely even 80 degrees looking at all the photos.
Good show! Have you got an air mattress for camping? What size? How does it fot in the bed? Assuming you like camping, would you rather camp in the truck bed or nearbyv
CAN THE CT GAME AAA TITLES ON STEAM? MODELS X & S CAN GAME STEAM. CAN CT DO WELL TOWING AN RV LONG DISTANCE OR ALONG CAMPSITES/NATIONPARKS THAT ARE NEAR SUPERCHARGERS PR THIRD PARTY CHARGERS...CAN IT CHARGE AT CAMPSITES THATS MOSTLY USED FOR RV HOOKUPS WITH AN ADAPTER ?
Hi Ben, I have a crazy idea! I am still waiting on my VIN for the CyberBeast. I am from the Bay Area, what do you think about you and I drive our own Cybertrucks to meet Kyle in Colorado and do some testing together? We can do some CyberBeast vs AWD comparisons!
great video man. good luck with it. You may already know this but that frunk clip you filmed outside that was over exposed; if you are filming in hDR using an iPhone.. turn HDR off and it won't white wash those clips. it can be fixed post edit too but i've found running HDR off is way simpler and you don't compromise much
Thanks for the great update. Sunscribed. The tires dn't look like they can handle winter conditions given weight of vehicle. How have you found them, how have they performed?
I was a tradesman for 30 years, driving real trucks (4x4) in NW BC for oilfield services. That "thing" is laughable and cannot be taken seriously as a working vehicle. It is a toy for those thinking to drive a "truck" is the cool thing, and the pretence of a pickup. As such it might have some value for those with money to burn. You might be able to load a bunch of shoeboxes in the back, if you don't have the range extender battery.
Cyberpeople only wear black clothes lol. It's the only color that matches the vibes that Cybertruck gives off. Seriously, check out all the other Cybertruck drivers. (Everyone except Kyle from Out of Spec, that is.) It even goes back to launch day when the entire design team and Elon came out wearing all black. One of them was even wearing a Blade Runner trench coat. Everyone at Tesla only appeared in black clothes next to the Cybertruck lol.
I subscribed because you did the 7-11 test. Big props!!
Can you provide external dimensions of the tailgate and rear window please, Thank you
Legit you are the first person to show the emergancey latch for the tail gate in action.
Thanks for this amazing Cybertruck informative video! I definitely hope to buy a used Cybertruck in the future…
Excellent Q&A!! I love this, great video Ben!

This truck is a beast!
Right?????
1:10 whatttt??? I didn't know cars did this. That's really cool
Great content! Thanks
Glad you liked it!

Spot For The BIG GULP Is A MUST 😄

Hey, thanks so much! That means a lot, welcome to the channel, looking forward to creating more content for ya!

Fantastic video, you are a great presenter.
Glad you think so!
CONGRATS!!
Thanks Dennis!!
HI Congrats on getting your truck. I only have question does the CT currently have not Autopilot at all? does it even have cruise control?

Great video, thank you. When did you place your order, month/year.....trying to estimate how long til I get the call.
Good analysis ❤❤
Does the Foundation series come with the trailer hitch?
It did not come with the trailer hitch, no
Isn't there a mount for a hitch under the plastic cover under rear bumper?
Just a geometry pet peeve of mine, everyone keeps saying the rear doors open 90 degrees. They do NOT. It's barely even 80 degrees looking at all the photos.
window to the bed needs to roll down for a dog. If I had the money for a cybertruck, I'd find a way to make that happen. 🐶
Thanks for answering my question 🎉

I totally plan on grabbing an air mattress for camping!
@@VoyageATXAlso grab a camp fridge and induction cooktop!

Windex helps with the finger prints
Oh yes it does…

So down to meetup and do something like that! DM me on X and let’s make it happen
Are you an employee and what was your RN number?
Can it run steam games like the plaids?
Not yet! Not confirmed if it can or cannot, but if I can’t play cyberpunk on my cybertruck, I’m gonna flip
A SteamDeck would be a far superior mobile Steam experience.
How does the cybertruck compare to something like a Rivian?
lol, we are gonna have to find out

Thanks for the great feedback! HDR is my biggest enemy…I kept forgetting to turn it off, but FINALLY on my most recent video, I turned it off!

Been fine so far! Haven’t been in winter conditions yet. Noticed they are very quiet on the highway
Great video! Love the details. Perspective, not prospective. 🙂
thanks for sharing, man I thought you got locked in your tonneu
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you tell us how you got such an early delivery? Are you an employee or other?
Thanks What's your favorite reaction so far?
I had a guy on a motorcycle flip his head around like an owl and freak out! So many funny reactions
Make a city drive and people reaction video 😊
Great idea…accumulating sentry mode footage as we speak lol

Look for the video where the guy put 1850 pounds of sheet rock in the bed. The guys at Home Depot loaded it. That’s not shoeboxes.
time will tell, but adapting to new tech is hard if one has been doing things a certain way for 30 years
This is a great point

Do the cameras automatically clean the mud off
As far as I’m aware, they don’t automatically do it, no!
