I started using a Vexilar Lithium battery last season, and at that time, the only charger available was the standard 410, and that is what Vexilar was saying to use. It works ok, but sometimes have to plug it in and turn the vex off and on to get it to start charging. Are these new chargers any advantage over the old 410? Trying to decide it’s worth buying the 420. Not sure I’d need the rapid one, but considering the standard lithium charger
The new chargers, V-420 (1amp) and -420L (2.5 amp rapid charger), are specifically designed for the new batteries, and they will charge up 100%, the V-410 was adequate
@@chuckmasonfishingmichigan Thanks. So do the 420s act more like a traditional charger where I wouldn’t have to mess with turning off and on to trigger a charge cycle? The 410 wont even charge until I run it for 2 or 3 outings. Thinking it might be better for the battery’s longevity with the 420. I don’t think I need the rapid one, I’m usually able to get everything warm enough to charge and plug it in overnight.

I went with the rapid 2.5's because I may have as many as 6 batteries to charge in a night
